What an amazing location it’s not really a dive bar. It’s very high-end if that. Beautiful view for lagoon and colorful houses, you can see the pier from here although it’s not that much after the storm you can also see the beach and people relaxing. Have a beer here a decent price sitting out on the deck.

Loved it. Super sweet server, DELICIOUS mahi and prawn tacos 🌮, and a nice hibiscus lemonade mocktail. Kitchen was very quick to send out our order. Seating is a little tight out back but it’s perfect for on the beach.

Honestly you CANNOT go to Capitola and not get at least one slice... You have two locations and personally the one not by the beach is sneaky sneaky... You can have your Pizza in peace and sit down to chill... Honestly always fire!!

Pizza My Heart is one of those spots you just have to visit when you’re in the area—it’s an absolute must. For me, it’s like Southern comfort food, but in pizza form. The pizza is always flavorful, the crust is perfect, and the sauce is amazing. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and even the salads are top-notch. One of the coolest things is the “slice and a T-shirt” combo—grab a fresh slice and some fresh merch for just nine bucks. It’s the perfect way to rep the brand and enjoy great food at the same time. I stop by every time I’m in town, and it never disappoints. Five-star pizza all the way. Highly recommend!

Order online for i store pick-up! Was having a pretty wretched day that just so happened to also be my birthday. The employee that greeted me at the pick uo window was SO SO SO SWEET! they literally made my whole day! Not to get into any personal (messy lol) details but I actually cried in the car on the way home because the person was so awesome and sweet to me. Just really above and beyond from ordering online to picking up in person. LOL PIZZA was AMAZING, but pizza my heart usually is at this location so I figured their name speaks for themselves! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, even & especially if your having a rough day and need a pick-me-up.

I ordered a custom pizza and a salad. I had 2 salads when I came to pick it up. They easily made the adjustment and credited me the extra I was charged. The food was delicious, as always, fresh and warm. The servers were very nice and friendly and made my to go experience quick and painless.

Pizza My Heart has been my favorite pizza place for well over 20 years, and they still are! I prefer thin crust pizza. If you like thicker crusts, this might not be the place for you. You would be missing out on the best toppings though! I'm looking forward to trying their new slice that has peaches on it. Any pizza with ricotta cheese is amazing imo.

The family thoroughly enjoyed their meal, finding it to be quite good and favorable. The boneless wings were seasoned, at least to my taste, though not necessarily a must-have. However, the pizza, with its crunchy crust and the combination of pepperoni, bacon, and thick sausage, was truly delicious. The sauce was also excellent, making it a great overall pizza joint. I wonder, do people still use that phrase?

Got 2 slices yesterday at this location which hit the spot. They are a bargain at $5 bucks a slice and eating them by the beach is the icing on the pie. Recommend the place for sure! The only disappoint was that they did not have XXL sizes which was a bomber.

A big slice of pizza and your choice of a shirt for $8+tax! Their slice is the size of a Costco slice so pretty worth it! I've tried a few different pizzas and they're all good. Can't go wrong. Wish there was a Pizza My Heart closer to home though.

I love Pizza My Heart. I make the drive 3 hours out just to grab a pie. It tastes delicious and it's quite a large pie in comparison to most "Large" pizzas. Nice and crispy crust and some cheese grease with a sweet tomato sauce all perfectly baked to perfection. Can't forget the free shirt with an order of a slice🔥

First time visit, my brother and his wife highly recommend we try the pizza here. We were not disappointed... After a day on the beach, this was a perfect way to end the day! Pizza is on a whole other level!! Got an outside table, super busy inside, but it didn't matter, we received our order of four large pizzas and breadsticks in under twenty minutes! Pizza was outstanding and I highly recommend the veggie pizza, have not had one that delicious ever! We are from out of town but this will be a stop for sure when we are in the area!

Love the view at the back of the Bar. Waitress was very nice and check on us even the place was very busy. Food needs improvement, fish and chips had no taste (fish) the clam chowder soup was really good. Great atmosphere!

The food was really good! Had the Santa Cruz coconut prawn tacos and my husband had the ceviche! Both excellent and large portions. Katy our waitperson was upbeat and attentive. Also had the house margarita, very yummy. Sat outside as the evening sunshine was lovely! Definitely worth a stop just for good food & beverage & great setting.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. It was a bit of a wait to get a seat but it was well worth it. The western bacon and garlic fries were super yummy. If you eat on the balcony you get a great view of the ocean. We got lucky and it wasn’t super crowded but it can be pretty crazy at times, really depends on the day. Delicious place to eat if you’re tired of the usual.

I went down to help support the recently storm damaged businesses in town. I was met with a cheerful hello and a nice warm place to have lunch. I had the toasted BLT and fries. Good proportions at a decent price. The sandwich was a bit on the greasy side for my tastes, but it was very good otherwise. I'll try it another day with a request to use a little less oil next time. I recommend the place for sure!

Nice ambiance, good food with good service. We have ordered clam chowder which was not that great. Coconut shrimp was favorite and crab cakes were awesome too. Liked the fish and chips ,fish was fresh but little bit salt was less. Mahi mahi sandwich was ok . Over all good experience

I got food poisoning from this location. It's my go-to pizza in the area and I've have had Pizza my Heart tons of times without issues, but I will no longer get the single slices which sit in the display case for who knows how long. I hope they consider changing their food safety practices because I love the food and want to eat it without worrying about getting sick.

Update, from 5-3 stars, still our favorite pizza but ALL winter long they keep the place freezing at night! Can't sit and enjoy your pizza, you freeze and your pizza gets cold in 5 minutes. I know it gets hot in the kitchen, I used to make pizzas in my day but you can't freeze your customers to keep your workers from getting hot! First timers and this is our new favorite pizza parlor. The details here are impressive. The crust is perfect, thin crust with a great chew. Nothing more important than the foundation of your house or your pizza! Quality toppings, ordered a 1/2&1/2, Big Sur & Figgy Piggy. Both excellent but the Big Sur delivered the wave I wanted to ride. Big garlic flavor my guy. Great seating options, decor, TVs, air flow. Friendly cool staff. Excellent house ranch. (I only used some on the crust, pizza too good to put ranch on it, the crust was too good as well.) Quality paper cups and bag for takeout. So nice to see the quality and detail because these days everyone is cutting corners and delivering a subpar experience for their customers. Great place to order a pie, watch a game, take some time with friends or family and enjoy.

UPDATE: I went again on 6/21/22 and changing my review because the ceviche that I had last time was amazing but this time, it totally changed in flavor and had mostly shrimp with barely any of the fish ceviche (which is my favorite). I was disappointed it was not like the last time. The ceviche was a huge reason why I came back, however I won't be coming back. Not sure why they changed it... Also the Paloma was not good. Previous review:I am happy to say I was content with what I ate!!! I am a ceviche connoisseur and I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the ceviche was! It has both fish and shrimp ceviche. My preference is usually fish, but this was so good that it didn't matter!- one of the best!!! I also felt the size of it was filling. The clam chowder was good; I would say above average but I have also tasted some that are 5/5 in the past, so this is more like a 4/5. Also, I was not a big fan of the environment inside the restaurant- it seemed too touristy. But luckily, we ate outside in the patio and we were watching the beach and the colorful homes from there. Outside, it is a less clean though because of the birds. But because of the view outside, it has a nice feeling and the waitress was really kind!

Staff is friendly and work quickly. They have salads too. The slices are big and is over $6 for one slice. I ordered the veggie slice. The crust is crispy but the pointed tip part is not. I was unable to pickup the slice to take a bite. I had to pick at it with a fork. Tear off piece by piece to eat it. The toppings were good, I only wish the whole slice was evenly cooked. Instead of gooey and droopy at the tip. The dining room is clean and inviting. I like the different style of seating options. They also have outdoor seating.

I paid over 100$ worth of food and received my food with barely anything inside. I went back inside to ask where the rest of my food is and they must've hunted all of the squid in the sea because the man at the register said that he "couldn't control the weight of the box or how much was inside". Meanwhile, the cook in the back said that they ran out of calamari so they had to distribute what they had left at 3pm. Very disappointing by something rated 4.2 stars and wasn't busy, not returning because of this bad service and communication. They could've at least mentioned this issue and asked if we wanted to switch what we had ordered to something they had more of. The food also wasn't fresh and had no flavor whatsoever, its taste is comparable to the back of Ghandis slipper. I ordered lemonade and that was also very off-putting as well.

We came here just for brunch and only ordered two sandwiches—nothing else. We left an 18% tip, but they charged 25% to our credit card on the second day. I cannot accept this kind of behavior. We will never return to this location again.

My son was eating a slice and thought a hair was in his food.. Turns out it was a RUBBER BAND. I understand these things happen however this was a 5 year old child that could’ve easily chocked, please make sure your staff is more aware as this is a huge health concern!

Got a couple slices of pizza : both burnt , 1 was a Hawaiian type slice , the other was a supreme type option . The supreme type had barely any topping on it . Grew up in Santa Cruz so this isn’t my first time eating this pizza . Staff were stand offish in regards to the barely visible topping see pic for reference. Blamed the cooks instead of just apologizing for a $6 dollar slice of pizza with barely any toppings on it. Idk where the manger was but clearly training need to done to have appropriate customer service . To communicate with the other staff. Super dry pizza had the most minimal of sauces . Definitely don’t recommend this location. Go to the original locations in downtown Santa Cruz or at Capitola Village.
