Girando per Capri abbiamo trovato questo ristorante non lontano dalla piazzetta. È stata una piacevole sorpresa, abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Michele ci ha accolto benissimo sin dall'inizio e si vede che ha una passione immensa per questo lavoro e che in maniera professione e con simpatia accoglie e serve piatti buonissimi . Consigliatissimo il soute' di cozze e vongole e la torta caprese. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto, considerando anche che eravamo a Capri, non credo si trovi di meglio. Ci ritorneremo senz'altro.

È il mio ristorante preferito a Capri. Con le sue vetrate sul golfo di Napoli e le sue pizze fumanti e ricche di mozzarella fanno si che ritornarci sia sempre un piacere. Had lunch at Ristorante da Giorgio and it was very tasty (Caprese Salad ravioli and sea-food pasta). Service was great, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The view was amazing!

A truly authentic Capri experience — unpretentious, welcoming, and delicious. The setting is classic and warm, with a cozy dining room and a view into the kitchen where the chef works calmly and confidently. The Caprese salad was perfectly fresh — creamy mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and peppery arugula drizzled with olive oil. The prosciutto pizza had a thin, crisp crust with rich tomato sauce and beautifully melted mozzarella — simple, flavorful, and done right. To finish, the Nonna’s home made dessert (Lemon cheese cake) was the highlight — homemade, comforting, and filled with love. Just the right sweetness, like something your Italian grandmother would proudly serve on a Sunday. 10 on 10. Service was friendly and relaxed, and prices were very reasonable for Capri. Exceeds expectations, was busy fast and friendly with Nonna working on the kitchen. Old school. Bravo 👏

Had a fantastic meal here! The food was delicious, the view over sunset was absolutely stunning, and the service went above and beyond. I accidentally spilled pasta sauce on my white top, and the waiter immediately brought out a stain remover spray to help, such thoughtful hospitality! Had a luncheon here for 6 people. The views were sensational, the food was exceptional and we found the prices reasonable and the service pretty friendly and quick. I tried Pizza Sbagliata, which is supposed to mean "messed up" or "done wrong" and boy, is that a misnomer. Shockingly good is closer the mark. It comes with Provolone cheese, Parma Ham and just a hint of heat from a mix of peppers. So far so good, but let me tell you this pizza was mindblowing. I don't know how, but somehow you could taste the aromas and flavors of the entire topping even in the crust. Even a hint of pepper. I don't understand how, because it seemed like ordinary pizza dough. I know it needs an hour of proving so I'm pretty sure they don't mix in some peppery dough along with the standard for your run of the mill margheritas and marinaras just in case. And even if they did, there's still the cheese and the ham. Properly blown my frock up. I mean you go to Italy, all the ingredients are always ranging from pretty good to outrageously awesome, but this was something else. And yes, the Provolone and the ham were both top notch, but this was some chuffing magic in the baking. Little soggy in the middle, runny cheese, gorgeous tomato sauce, crackly on the edges, utterly infused with flavor throughout. It was hands down one of the top 3 best dishes I have ever tried in my life. I only had a similar experience in a basque restaurant in Valencia. My wife had Spaghetti ai tre pomodori. That was also shockingly good. The thing about pasta in this neck of the woods is that it's not hard, nor soft. I know, I know, "al dente". I've heard the term, but it's nothing like "al dente" in the north. I lived 7 months in Firenze and this is different. It's this sticky thing with the texture of chewy caramel almost. It's somehow both the perfect conduit for the sauce and an amuse bouche itself. It's both the means and the end in the pursuit for flavour. It's from a different planet. I get hungry just thinking about it. I was shocked reading some of the reviews here. Hard crusted bread is pretty standard in Italy, it's not old, that's what it's supposed to be like. Service charge on your bill is also pretty standard, in return you're not expected to leave a 15% tip. Our waiter was very friendly, asked us about were we came from, mentioned a few personal connections and moved over to the next table exactly when it was time. We had no complaints whatsoever and found the prices more than alright for Capri main street and that spectacular vista.

A very friendly accommodation restaurant with stunning views over the Capri bay/ Port area. Family enjoyed their meal. Pizzas/ Grilled Seafood selection and Seafood pastas. Great service. Lovely breeze from the big open windows on the hillside during a baking hot day.

Ristorante Da Giorgio is a high-quality restaurant with great views. I only came here for lunch and ordered the speciality prosciutto pizza, but I could tell this place is really topnotch from what I saw. The pizza tasted delicious and was well-prepared. Since this restaurant is located higher up on the mountain, the views looking down are stunning. I would highly recommend Ristorante Da Giorgio for a great, scenic meal in Capri.

We ate here twice while we stayed on the island because we were so impressed after our first visit that we decided to return. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the view is incredible. We spent 10 days in Sorrento, Amalfi, and Capri and never found a restaurant that we enjoyed more than da Giorgio. If you're in Capri, do yourself a favor and have dinner here. You won't regret it.

This was the best restaurant we ate at in Capri. Everything was very well prepared, expertly seasoned, all with great presentation. We had a fried appetizer with various items that was wonderfully crispy and not greasy. Pasta dishes from the specials menu were some of the best we have ever had. And my fish dish was incredible. Sad we found this on our last night. Fantastic restaurant.

This restaurant was the best I have been to out of Sorrento, Positano, and Capri. Do not listen to the entitled reviews mentioning the service or charge. The food was so exceptional we were licking the plates clean. We had the mussel and clam pasta and the crazy sauce fish. Both very light and filling at the same time. The view was amazing even if we didn’t sit at the window.

Excellent pizza! This place is hidden down some stairs off Via Roma. They let seated us without a booking on a Saturday night, which was amazing - as they were full. We loved our pizza here, best we had in Capri (and we had a lot of pizza in Capri over our 7 day stay...). The pizza base is particularly good and the construction of each pizza was also very well considered meaning it was not soggy even with the most moist toppings. Service was excellent and very attentive. The only disappointment was desert, the tiramisu was clearly straight out of the fridge and had a weird liquid residue at the bottom of the glass. During the day this place had an amazing view, so we are planning on returning for lunch.

Ristorante che offre piatti tipici della cucina napoletana come fritto misto (crocchette di patate, mozzarella, arancini, zucchine julienne, panzerotto alla ricotta, polpette di melanzane), scialatielli, pizze e tanti piatti di mare. Prenotando in anticipo è possibile avere un bellissimo tavolo vicino alla finestra con vista sul porto di Capri e in lontananza Napoli e il Vesuvio. Abbiamo ordinato in poco tempo e ricevuto i nostri piatti in tempi giusti. Ottima scelta per la pizza napoletana, ben farcita e digeribile.

Questo è stato il primo ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato a Capri. Non avevamo prenotato ma ci hanno trovato subito un tavolino per due. Che dire se non che ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati. Ci hanno seguito tutto il tempo e il servizio è stato davvero perfetto. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo , ogni cosa era più buona dell'altra. Come dolce abbiamo preso la tipica dolce caprese, però all'arancia. Davvero tutto squisito. Senz'altro consigliato per chi vuole mangiare in un ristorante con cucina locale e a prezzi davvero onesti.

Per albergo sconsiglio discreto , ma bagni arredo vetusto. Personale cortese , ma servizio di portineria inesistente. Colazione senza nulla di più, se vuoi un po di marmellata ti mostrano due scodelle con pellicola senza problemi di igiene ( ma quanto costano le piccole monoporzioni al discount ? ) insomma io ci tornerei e non lo consiglerei .... si siamo a Capri ma la cifra non è proprio adeguata a quello che offre.

The quality of the food was very good. They offered local dishes in an appropriate quality and quantity. Also the location was nice. You can enjoy a nice view over the port of the island. The staff was very polite and multilingual. One important recommendation is to ask for the vine card. Do not trust the waiter for his suggestion if you are not interested in spending more money on a glass of wine than for your whole meal. We spent around 30€ for food and let the waiter bring us a 0,375 bottle of wine, which we paid 30€ for, without knowing we were about to drink an absolutely overpriced bottle of wine..

Ho pranzato con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante molto comodo da raggiungere e con un bel panorama. Purtroppo alcuni piatti discreti altri assolutamente insufficienti come il risotto alla pescatora. Buona la pizza e le bavette vongole e limone. Nota negativa il prezzo Una cotoletta alla milanese a dir poco scandalosa fatta col maiale 19 € e un piattino di patatine fritte 8 €. Nota positivo il servizio abbastanza veloce e cordiale. Si mangia bene e c’è una bella vista Peccato per parte del personale che è stato molto scortese, risposte antipatiche come se gli stessimo facendo un favore a stare lì. Una volta fatto notare l’atteggiamento scontroso invece di chiedere scusa, hanno continuato a rispondere male. Ci hanno messo fretta anche se il locale era semivuoto. Un paio di ragazzi del personale invece molto simpatici ed educati, un vero peccato per il resto dello staff.

We had grill calamari, ravioli and seafood pasta. Grilled calamari was good. Cheese ravioli was good. Seafood pasta was disappointing. Seafood was just not good. I thought Capri had good sea food. 😬. Nonetheless, we got service charged for €8 (4 per person) and water was €5 for 1 bottle.

La pizza è buona ma il maitre è scorretto e scostumato. Appena arrivati ci ha detto che tutti i tavoli “panoramici” erano occupati per poi immediatamente dopo destinarli a turisti non italiani a sua discrezione (che a loro volta non avevano prenotazioni appunto). Addirittura Il tavolo avanti al nostro (panoramico) non è mai stato occupato per tutto il nostro pranzo. Nonostante la richiesta di cambiare tavolo, il maitre ha insistito sul fatto che tutti i tavoli erano riservati, nel mentre le persone sono continuate ad arrivare e a sedersi ai tavoli panoramici nonostante fossero senza “reservation” … il nostro tavolo essendo vicino all’ingresso ci ha permesso di essere testimoni di ciò per ogni persona entrata dopo di noi. Ci siamo limitati a prenderci una pizza perché non è stato affatto piacevole ricevere tale trattamento. Torneremo a Capri, ma sicuramente non torneremo e non consiglieremo questo posto. Ps. Leggendo gli altri commenti successivamente abbiamo scoperto che questo comportamento del maitre è di routine, allego foto del tavolo vuoto, saluti cari al maitre che spero riceva lo stesso trattamento quando andrà in vacanza in un posto in Cui il coperto costa 4€ euro a persona e l’acqua naturale 5€ ;)

If I could put zero stars I would buy google doesn’t permit it. THE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE. The owner/waiter comes from a generation so old that still in 2022 doesn’t speak to people that have tattoos. They ignored my girlfriend all night and even when she politely said good bye they didn’t even answer. For the service we where given a worst off table than other guests even if the ones at the window view where free just cause they where waiting to see if more suited customers (to their standard) would arrive. They were nicer to people that they tought would spend more and give them a bigger tip. Se potessi mettere zero stelle lo farei ma google non lo permette. IL PEGGIORE SERVIZIO DELLA MIA VITA. Il proprietario/cameriere proviene da una generazione così antica che ancora nel 2022 non parla con le persone che hanno tatuaggi. Hanno ignorato la mia ragazza tutta la serata e anche quando lei ha salutato educatamente non hanno nemmeno risposto. Per il servizio ci è stato dato un tavolo peggiore rispetto agli altri ospiti anche se quelli alla finestra con vista erano liberi solo perché stavano aspettando di vedere se sarebbero arrivati ​​clienti più adatti (secondo i loro standard). Propense verso le persone che arrivavano lucide e curate perché pensavano che avrebbero speso maggiormente e avrebbero dato loro una mancia più grande.

Ristorante: Poca professionalità e cordialilta’ da parte della dirigenza soprattutto, piu’ di un caso di mancato rispetto nei modi. La responsabile alla cassa ha sbuffato difronte a noi per la richiesta di dividere il conto in 4, richiesta legale e legittima. Inoltre hanno chiesto prezzi esagerati per 4 pizze, oltre alla questione di prezzo (completamento diverso dai colleghi accanto) , ma e’ scocciante avere anche la pizza errata.

Se non siete con abiti firmati vi tratteranno nei peggiori dei modi. Tutto molto imbarazzante. Entriamo e ci guardano dalla testa ai piedi. Ci hanno detto che alcuni tavoli erano riservati ma non era nulla vero. Ci hanno trattato come i peggiori clienti. Che tristezza. Datevi una svegliata, siete una pizzeria/ristorante, nulla di più. Se non avete abiti firmati vi tratteranno peggio dei cani. State alla larga. Scortesi e antipatici. Servizio no pessimo, di più.

L'unica cosa di bello che ha è la posizione, al resto di' 0. Partiamo con il fatto che, appena entrati, il cameriere non ci rivolge neanche un saluto, a seguire con il farci sedere ad un tavolo senza neanche la tovaglia. Durante tutto il servizio i camerieri sono stati molto scontrosi e per niente professionali soprattutto quando, ripetutamente, volevano toglierci i piatti in cui stavamo ancora mangiando. Oltre al servizio pessimo (che abbiamo pagato l'assurda cifra data dal 12% del totale), il cibo non è stato per niente all'altezza delle aspettative e la pizza, esageratamente costosa, non mi è piaciuta per niente. Non lo consiglio. Per i titolari: eravamo 6 persone e abbiamo cenato il 4 Agosto 2020.

La location non è tutto. Capri è un isola meravigliosa, ma pullula di ristoranti con poca qualità. Purtroppo anche il servizio non è stato dei migliori. Marinato di mare per niente fresco, lo stesso per i frutti di mare con gli scialatielli. L’unica cosa buona erano i Ravioli Capresi, probabilmente non fatti da loro.

Pessima esperienza in questo b&b dove non c’è nessun rispetto per il cliente infatti il personale del ristorante finendo il turno schiamazza nei corridoi e vicino alle stanze e anche facendo notare il problema la risposta è “il personale sta andando via e quindi il rumore è normale” ma questo avviene in tarda notte purtroppo!! Puzza di muffa, colazione povera con cornetto surgelato e merendine Mulino Bianco, tovaglie sporche, alla richiesta di un frutto ti rispondono di no (strano per un ristorante non avere neanche una pesca) Soggiorno di due notti e non viene neanche rifornito il doccia shampoo nel bagno, nota dolente la maleducazione e l’arroganza del proprietario che invece di scusarsi per il rumore è stato oltremodo maleducato!!! Veramente la peggiore esperienza della mia vita. Sconsigliatissimo…e soprattuto il titolare provi ad essere più gentile ed accogliente con i clienti… Ps fatto check out imposto la sera la Mattina insistendo mi richiedono di pagare nuovamente fortuna avevo la ricevuta …no comment

Ci hanno detto che era tutto riservato ma alla coppia seguente gli hanno dato un tavolo senza avere neanche riserva. Lo steso cameriere / nos dijeron que estaba todo reservado pero a la pareja siguiente los hicieron pasar y tampoco tenían reserva/ we’ve been told the restaurant was full reserved. After that, they seat a couple behind us without reservation.

Personale molto scortese, maleducato e irrispettoso. Come da precedenti commenti, i tavoli detti dal proprietario “riservati”, sono stati poi occupati da persone senza prenotazione a discrezione del proprietario. Molto sconsigliato per non rovinarsi la vacanza. Per il proprietario: “ l’ abito non fa il Monaco” !

Restaurant review only. Waiting staff were the rudest, snobbiest bunch of clowns it's ever been my displeasure to be 'served' by. They had an awful attitude throughout, making us and other guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome with their presence. Also failed to do their job properly, not providing us a drink we asked for and then claiming we lied about having ordered it. Weird and pathetic behaviour not worthy of the beautiful location of their restaurant. Food was average at best.

Racist restaurant. We asked for the bill, and one waiter came to us and asked where are we from, we said China, and he gave us a disgusted look, and then after 5 mins, he came back to us, not with the bill? But with some very try disgusting picture of shark fin, asking us if this is shark fin (he is implying that all Chinese eats shark fin), we were very confused, and he walked away, and did not get back to us for 15mins, until we asked another waiter for our bill. We demanded an apology, and the other waiter was using the most stupid excuse of he does not speak English (but the person clearly asked us where are we from). Both of them denied their disgusting racist behavior and charged us for 15% service fee.

We arrived when they were about to close. First waister looked at us with a rude attitude. They sat us ( 3 people ) telling to order fast. Food was really good. Once the bill came, te here were a charge of “ 3 coperto” 4 euros each. Waiter says they charge for the silverware and the bread the out on the table. Old hard bread btw. Also she brought a bottle of water right away. Charged too. We did not even asked for water. Great way to screw your Tourism. We, that come from America , spend a lot of money on this places. Better start getting it right before people realize how crappy the service is toward clients. Your salary comes from us, the tourist.

Comment on the restaurant only. Pizza - average, at best Service - painfully slow; took over half an hour to get one pizza. When asked about the order, was told “you order one pizza, others order two, three”. How unprofessional and rude Attitude - See above. Also when asked for drink list, was told there is none, but ask him. When asked for the no -alcoholic drinks, showed his frustration, seemed exasperated being asked for details. Was recommended the place by tour guide. Forgot the old saying of following recommendations of tour guides. Big mistake. One star given for a very average pizza. Zero for everything else. Sure there are other restaurants with better attitude.

Same experience as everyone else. Poor attention from staff, specifically the owner/manager with white hair. All the window seats seats are “reserved”. He only gives white American/British guests these seats and aggressively seats you on a tiny table in the back if you don’t fit his desired aesthetic. It’s in a convenient location so they know they’ll keep bringing in money. Food was fine, but had a €4 service charge … highest I’ve seen. Realized after I left that they didn’t even serve me the pizza I ordered - I didn’t notice because I was so hungry. If you’re any PoC, save your coins and go else where. Don’t give this clown any more money.

DON'T GO HERE!!!! The one star is for the decent but overpriced pizza. The service was not worthy of any stars. Waiters pick and choose which customers get the "amazing" sea-view window seat, leaving the rest of the customers snubbed and moved elsewhere with little personal space. After we declined the overpriced water for the third time, the waiters were no longer courteous and seemed disinterested in serving us. This seemed to be the case for multiple tables. The food arrived promptly and was of reasonable quality however, we felt unwanted in the restaurant at this point and a server even began to remove the plates before we could even finish. We feel the restaurant didn't warrant an 8€ service charge for two 10€ margarita pizzas with no drinks, considering the lack of quality SERVICE. Overall, a very uncomfortable experience created by the waiters alone. For an island so famous for their lemons, the waiters sure took it very seriously with their bitter and sour attitude.
