Great food, all options good, you really can't go wrong. Good portons, enough to share. I recommend going here with a group, get 2 to 4 things and split amongst the table.

My husband and I tried this place on a whim. We were a little unsure since the place was empty. The interior was rather no frills, which didn't faze me a bit. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the General Tsao chicken and it was wonderful. I ordered the Mongolian beef and it was amazing. Probably the best Mongolian beef I've ever had. The hot and sour soup was also great. The service was welcoming and prompt. We will definitely be back soon! I only wish we lived in the delivery radius.

It Was My first time eating there; i was getting treated out to lunch... The building is disguised as smaller on the outside! Because as i went in,looked around inside, it's a medium-size authentic restaurant. Really nice. I would-will return... The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious! (I had the broccoli-beef) yumm!

We Always go here BLUE SKY small place and family owned and we go here because we love the food and patronize our neighborhood Restaurant. Not the other places, we always get the best dishes no matter what we order! We go weekly best Lemon or orange chicken, etc pork fried rice sweet and sour pork ..always the best and freshly cooked try it I recommend this place try it you will LOVE it!!!

I love going to Blue Sky. I am somewhat of a regular and they know me by name. Their food is always good. They have lunch specials during the day and decent prices during the evening. The staff is always courteous and quick to get your order done in a timely fashion. I frankly haven't had a bad experience with them and have been going for about 6 Years now. I highly recommend their sizzling fish dish and their chow mein it's always great!

I'm trying to eat low carb and order the moo shu pork which was not on the menu. It was the most flavorful broth and pork I've ever had. The cabbage and carrots were super crispy obviously just that moment stir fried. I haven't been this happy about a meal in years

The food was very fresh and tasty!!! All vegetables cooked to perfection. The honey walnut chicken was the best!!!

I'm going to recommend this restaurant to friends & family. The staff was attentive and professional. The restaurant was clean and welcoming.

We got combo rice, combo chow mein, Cung pow chicken, and the best sweet and sour chicken. They were all very nice and polite. The restaurant was very clean. The very nice lady, all smiles, brought the food out and verified our order. We got to our new place and made plates with a bit of everything. I shoulda asked for hot mustard. Oh well. It's all very good. Nothing is over cooked. . It's all very tasty. And There's a lot of food. So leftovers will be scrumptious . Very plentiful, and all very good. I'd love to make this my regular Chinese food place and try more options

The staff are always super friendly and acknowledge you as soon as you walk in. and the food is always delicious and filling. Prices are wayyyy fair for how much food they give you and the food taste extremally good. I have moved away from Carmichael and I still take the time to drive over there passing almost 5 other Chinese food places to get the food from Blue Sky. I've tried many other places over the years and keep coming back to Blue Sky because the other places don't make the cut. I have always ordered take out, but I can only imagine that the dine in experience is wonderful from how they treat me when I am just getting my pickup orders! 10/10

I’ve gotten blue sky before and they’re good. They’re not Panda Express, this is a family mom and pop shop. All in all, I’d say nothing to complain about. I’ve ordered shrimp chow mein and chicken chow mein before. Quality is up there. The chicken is tender and not rubbery like some joints. Although, and I hope I’m wrong, when I called in an order and asked them to have the chicken and chow mein separate (they usually mix it together), the lady over the phone said something along the lines of “oh, uh, well, uh, it’s not that we cook them earlier, but we can’t separate the chicken from the noodles because it cooks that way for flavor.” That got me a little suspicious. Come on…. It’s not like food kept warm is bad, but it sounds like she was being conservative when saying that, making me wonder how old the chow mein really is. Anyways, lol, overall good food. Can’t complain, but nothing to rave about either. 3.7ish, call it a 4 star.

I have always loved this restaurant. Decorum is dated, but the manager is just the friendliest woman ever, and her husband is the best cook ever. If you like Orange Chicken, there is no better than Blue Sky

This food will satisfy your craving, or at least it's where I go to get my fix. The staff if friendly and the service was quick. I also heard them on the phone due to someone not getting something they had ordered and they immediately wanted to fix it. They offered them a meal comp for next time and to fix the problem now. One of my favorite hole in the wall Chinese places.

One of my favorite things here was tons of fresh garlic slices on the meat. I really liked my honey glazed walnut shrimp! If you like Chinese food this is a place to stop on by.

An order takes usually 25 minutes. Some days are busy depending on the time. The listing says busy on Wednesday; however, there were only to clients out of 8 available tables. Good customer service.

Got delivery, the kung pao chicken was pretty much all zucchini and mushrooms, not spicy but okay flavor. Would have liked some chicken though. The Mongolian beef was tasty!

We ordered dinner here through Doordash. Portions were huge and price was comparable to other Chinese restaurants. The food was pretty bland. Not much flavoring at all. The sauces on our food was scarce. I will say that the honey walnut prawns were the best I've ever had though! They were huge and had the perfect amount of sauce on them. I hope that this restaurant will read this and up the flavoring and sauce amounts on the other food though because I would love to order from here again.

Update 3/2017: really gone downhill. Delivery orders consistently wrong (including no requested chopsticks or sauces), in house sevice slow, and food quality isn't like it was. I'm not sure what happened, but a steady decline in quality and service over to past year especially. Still low prices, lunch special pricing, and still are good about my service dog though. 3 stars down from 5. Besides large portions, delivery, great prices... Review as disabled person with service dogs: The other night I was at this Chinese restaurant and felt so comfortable. I was treated the same as any other patron, seated without comments or even any staff paying attention to the dogs. It was quite refreshing to receive absolutely no special attention positive or negative. This is something all special needs /disabled folks need: feeling absolutely normal and comfortable to blend in. Okay, so the food I ordered came out quickly, hot, tasty, and larger portions than I was expecting. Same goes for delivery! Arrives hot and tasty!

Meh... Edible but mediocre at best. Decent price for portions compared to other places but you get what you pay for. Broccoli in broccoli beef was practically raw and the sauce was strangely sweet. Orange chicken lacked flavor but was pretty good. Pork fried rice tasted off and was too onion-y (should have ordered with no onions). Probably won't eat the leftovers and I'm that guy that will pan fry and eat Chinese food leftovers everyday until they're gone. Best part was the egg drop soup which was delicious and almost too hot to eat. The soup earned the 3rd star. Lol. Guess I'll eat that the next couple days. Not exactly sure why this place is rated so highly but to each their own. Wonderful Chinese at Sylvan Corners is always amazing but they don't deliver through DoorDash or Uber Eats.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area, but it's so hard to catch them when they are open. Seems like every time I want to order they are closed. Even on the days they are supposed to be open the delivery apps say the are closed. This is very frustrating.

I am always disappointed with the food. Every time. Gosh want to like but no. Salt and pepper pork is super oily and sweet and sour pork too breaded. I love the Chinese food from BelAir better.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area, but it's so hard to catch them when they are open. Seems like every time I want to order they are closed. Even on the days they are supposed to be open the delivery apps say the are closed. This is very frustrating.

I used to absolutely love this place. But now the place is a dump. Only 3 tables for guests and there's an awful looking huge divider that separates those tables and a trashy looking other half. They used to have really good Shrimp Fried Rice, but not anymore. I was so disappointed when I got my order. The rice looked days old.😩. And it lacked flavor. Very bland. I could've had aV-8.

Refunded my order once arrived. Just because it went a few minutes into 3. Drove 25 min for nothing and I’m not gonna pay an extra $4 per item because it’s not lunch anymore.Lost my business for sure now not to mention I have to wait who knows how long for a refund.

We ordered food to go, and we're excited to try a new place. We ordered broccoli beef, house fried rice, cream cheese wonton, vegetable chow mein, szechuan chicken, and broccoli in spicy garlic sauce. ALL of it was awful. The cream cheese wonton weren't warm, just a fat clump of cold un-seasoned, tasteless cream cheese. The szechuan chicken is not at all spicy, tastes like cinnamon and vanilla??? And it's a soggy, chewy texture and looked like pork when I bit into it (it wasnt pork). The chow mein was absolutely depressing. No flavor, no scent, and overcooked to mush. Spicy garlic broccoli was not at all spicy nor did it taste like garlic, it tasted like regular steamed broccoli, but had the coloring like it was seasoned and spicy. I've never had broccoli beef look as skimpy or sad as what we got here. All in all we paid about 72.00 for all of these items, just to be completely shocked by price and depressed by the lack of flavor, and lack of excitement. This was the worst, and ONLY terrible Chinese food experience I've ever had. Don't waste your time or your money here.
