My wife and I come here maybe at least once a month and maybe twice a month if we crave the chicken salad party platters. I would come here more often if they had a location closer to Cypress. I was sad to hear they closed the Long Beach location. I enjoy the food here and it is a fairly healthy place for a fast casual food experience.

Have been having this for years and never a bad dish. The staff is super friendly and even offered to help carry my food to the car for me, since they saw I was carrying my son. Combo is plenty of food and you get the best of both words, salad and teriyaki- get a side of fries and extra sauce.

My coworker said this spot had solid teriyaki and an amazing Chinese chicken salad. It definitely does! I ordered their chicken curry and chili cheese fries. Both were delicious with great portions and the flavor was definitely there! I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Chinese chicken salad is good, since was 8:00pm the steak, chicken and rice tasted old.

Food was just ok. Service was great. Employees were friendly, quick and professional. Got my order quickly. Chilli cheese fries were underwhelming, bland and not enough chili or cheese(imo). Teriyaki chicken plate was pretty good. Much more prefer ono.

Beef teri plate. Nothing to write home about. Sauce too sweet for my liking. Chinese chicken salad, I'd consider for a home party. The service was good. Pick up was a little slow, maybe due the the lunch orders. I'm trying the burgers and fries next time.

And when I buy from Carson branch, there's hardly enough to share and barely any meat to split out. But there's plenty of rice. He's called it out a few times already but I think the only portion they've gotten right is the chinese chicken salad. Sorry gotta go the extra mile to buy from Gardena.

Typical Rascals. Excellent chicken, great service. You can't beat teriyaki chicken and rice. The Chinese chicken salad is remarkable. On 8-30-24, I ordered 2 deluxe chicken dinners. I found a piece of chicken bone in each dinner. I spoke with the manager in charge, and he seemed like he didn't believe me😅🤣😂. I even showed him the pieces. I doubt I will be back to this location.

When I arrived, the employee admitted it was their mistake—but instead of fixing it or apologizing, he tried to charge me an extra $1.02. Over their own error. He was dismissive and condescending. Then the general manager, Edward (or Eddie), stepped in. And instead of resolving the issue, he doubled down on the disrespect. When I asked for contact info for the owner, he smugly said there was no one to contact. No accountability. No professionalism. Just attitude. I asked for a full refund, which I received. But as I left, Edward made sure to proudly repeat his name—as if poor service was something to be proud of. This isn’t just about a wrong order. It’s about how you treat people—especially regulars who’ve supported your business consistently. Rascals Carson, do better. Your food may be consistent, but your customer service just hit rock bottom.

IV been to the one in Torrance and it's always really good, so I was in the carson area figured I try it and it was a disappointment, chicken had a wired flavor and really dry , rice was mushy and the beef was dry , the only thing that was good was the sauce, I didn't even finish my drink because fruit flies were flying around it , never again.

This location is not professional at all, there is no since of urgency , it’s not welcoming or inviting .. The staff inappropriately uses sarcasm which is offensive because I’m a consumer and the things being said are controversial and socially awkward.
