Estuvimos allí el Domingo pasado, nos atendió David súper agradable y nos aconsejó muy bien con la comida, nos explicó cada detalle , asi da gusto la verdad, nos atendió de lujo un 10+ para el , el restaurante estaba a tope y aún así los platos salían súper bien . Todo riquísimo, aconsejó 100% que lo visitéis. Fuimos a hacer la Experiencia 43 por la mañana a la fábrica y decidimos terminar comiendo en Restaurante Cuarenta y tres 43 , Experiencia completa , genial y además volveremos

Un espacio espectacular en Cartagena, muy bien cuidado y decorado con mucho gusto. Cuentan con distintos ambientes: terraza exterior, azotea, varios salones amplios y acogedores, con opciones de mesas bajas con sillones o mesas altas con taburetes. También celebran eventos, lo cual no nos extraña porque el lugar lo merece. El personal fue muy amable y profesional en todo momento. Nosotros fuimos atendidos por Eva, que nos ayudó a elegir y acertó de lleno con las recomendaciones. Se agradece muchísimo cuando el trato es cercano y a la vez profesional. Probamos varias cosas y todo estaba riquísimo: Media ración de salazones de pescado, acompañada de rabos de alcaparras y almendras fritas y saladas. Atún rojo picante, muy sabroso. Verduras crujientes, con un toque diferente. Merluza a baja temperatura, jugosa y bien cocinada. Y de postre, una milhojas de crema y chocolate muy recomendable. Para beber pedí un cóctel, vino y agua. Los panes fueron una sorpresa: realmente espectaculares, algo que a veces se pasa por alto pero aquí cuidan hasta el mínimo detalle. Y para cerrar, el tradicional café asiático, con Licor 43 y leche condensada, que no podía faltar. Como broche final, nos invitaron a unos chupitos para probar varias variedades del licor: chocolate, crème brûlée y horchata. Un detallazo que pone el broche a una experiencia redonda. Antes de salir, pasamos por la tienda de la marca, que está justo al lado del restaurante. Tienen una gran variedad de productos, no solo Licor 43 en sus distintas versiones, sino también otras marcas como Ramón Bilbao, Martin Miller's, etc. Con el ticket del restaurante te obsequian con un 10% de descuento sin fecha de caducidad, por si quieres llevarte algo para seguir disfrutando en casa. ¡Un cierre perfecto para una visita muy recomendable! 😃

Quiero compartir mi experiencia increíble en el restaurante Cuarentaytres porque realmente se lo merecen. Desde el momento en que entré, el ambiente fue acogedor, elegante y muy cuidado en cada detalle. La comida fue simplemente espectacular: platos perfectamente presentados, sabores intensos y equilibrados, y una calidad de producto que se nota en cada bocado. Pero lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial fue la atención de Juan. Fue amable, cercano y muy profesional en todo momento. Nos recomendó platos con mucho acierto, estuvo pendiente de cada detalle sin resultar invasivo y transmitió una energía súper positiva que hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Da gusto encontrarse con personas que disfrutan tanto su trabajo y que se esfuerzan por ofrecer un servicio de 10. Sin duda, Cuarentaytres se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos y volveré muy pronto. ¡Totalmente recomendable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Celebramos nuestra boda en el piso de arriba y fue maravilloso. Tenemos que hacer una mención especial a María José que nos atendió de manera excelente en todo momento, a nadie le faltó de nada y estuvo súper atenta a que un día tan especial saliera perfecto. La comida estaba deliciosa y es litio espectacular. También agradecer a Paula todo su esfuerzo.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be something special. The food was quite simply out of this world. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, showing real care, skill, and imagination in the kitchen. Each course felt thoughtfully prepared and perfectly balanced, making the whole meal a genuine pleasure from start to finish. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the staff. Attentive without ever being intrusive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel welcome, relaxed, and well looked after throughout the entire evening. It is rare to find a team so professional and so warm at the same time, and they are clearly a credit to the management. An incredible dining experience all round. We will absolutely be returning and recommending this place to anyone looking for exceptional food and outstanding service.

All our food was excellent. very good portion sizes and beautifully presented. We did struggle to get the attention of the waiter who had not checked if our food was ok or if we needed anything. The maitre d' came over and took our drinks order. The rest of the experience was superb.

We visited with friends on the terrace and had our dog Rufus with us. We were all made to feel very welcome including Rufus and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit all we had hoped for and more. We will definitely visit when ever we are in the area

Quite a nice experience… for a person that barely drinks alcohol, I enjoyed myself. I was looking to buy a gift for a relative but wanted to test a few flavours beforehand. At the cafe you could choose from I think 5 flavours of their liquor - original, horchata, crème brûlée, barista and chocolate (30ml - 3€, 75ml - 9€). I tried the chocolate and crème brûlée… chocolate was delicious. Could barely taste the alcohol in it. I expected more from the crème brûlée but it was still nice. I also got myself one of their cocktails with the original liquor 43… now that was something else. It was the shaken carajillo 43 with 3 ingredients: coffee liquor and ice (7€). Our waitress came with a whole trolley and prepared it next to our table which was quite a nice touch. Would definitely recommend going and trying something out. The also organise a tour of there factory about 30 minutes from the cafe but sadly we had no time. There is however a shop with everything they make… at the end I settled for the original flavour in the special edition bottle (17€). Would definitely recommend, not expensive and it’s a nice little treat given that there’s not much to do in Cartagena.

What an amazing culinary experience! Speedy service, very friendly and professional. The lady who works at reception was so lovely and helpful. We walked in without a reservation and she managed to find a table for us. We were very grateful. The restaurant decor was modern and sophisticated. It was a pleasure to dine in. Compliments to the chef who knows how to cook vegetables. We had stir fried veggies as one of the starters. My whole family were very impressed. My personal favourite was the octopus dish. Beautifully presented. The bills was €250 for 4 people. Very reasonable for such delicious food, cocktails and experience. We tasted the famous 43 liquor as well. We loved the crème brûlée flavour. Thank you so much. We will be back!

I loved this restaurant. Though only recently opened, it is already running at top class. Food, service, and ambience were all five stars. The location is great, on the port in Cartagena. It is big and was busy on the Friday we were there. We had some diners with special requests, and the waiter made sure they were looked after.

I visited the restaurant at lunchtime on a Thursday. As an English solo diner, I had a wonderful experience. I had beautiful views from the window, the service was fantastic, very quick, but I didn't feel rushed at all. I was offered an English language menu. Staff could speak fine English. Whilst not a low-end price range, I was pleasantly surprised by the bill at the end for a 3 course meal. If I had to find 1 negative, my glass of champagne was slightly flat, but at €9 as a Londoner, I was still appreciating the great value for money. The appetisers were delicious and generous portions, and again, excellent value for money. The steak was cooked well and had just enough accompaniments. At 1.30pm, when I arrived, it was fairly quiet, but soon got busy and buzzy by 2.30pm. This didn't affect the speed or attentiveness of the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, I will absolutely be coming back soon. Gracias!

Very recent addition to Cartagena’s culinary scene expanding the city’s offer of sophisticated atmosphere and excellent food joints. Sitting in the renovated harbour area the restaurant boasts beautiful decor, tasty spanish cuisine with a modern touch and very good service. Price is on the high side for cartagena but it is worth it. Underground parking right below the restaurant at a rate of about €5 for 3 hours.

Let me start off by saying this place in brand new. It’s beautiful inside and the staff are so friendly and polite. Most only speak Spanish but the manger speaks English and is there to help translate. Coming from someone who lives in Miami and experiences fine dinning they need to work on a few things like water service, menu timing, paying at the end. Took a little while to find some English menus for half our party and we had to end up sharing. The wine list was smaller than I expected but we picked the 1 Sauvignon blanc they had. I’m not sure if there’s a cocktail menu with fun drinks that include 43, we didn’t receive one. I’ve include all the pictures of what we ate. Highlights: ham croquettes and chicken croquettes both delicious, the cracker and bread basket, the sashimi was fresh and melted in you mouth, artichoke campo de Cartagena amazing flavors. As for the other dishes the fish of the day and tiramisu were average, the pork was cold but tasty, and the crème brûlée was there version, as you can see from the picture not much brûlée/harden sugar. For a restaurant centered around Liqour 43 there not many dishes that include the drink which was upsetting and something they could definitely take advance of. Besides that the restaurant is very pretty and I highly recommend you try it!

Un espacio muy agradable. Todo lo que pedimos estaba bastante bien, pero sin duda lo mejor fueron los postres. ¡Vale la pena dejar sitio para el dulce!

Local muy bien, decorado grande, y muy bonito. Ir a la carta Puede salir algo caro, sé que dispone de menús con arroz por precios en torno a los 55€.dispone de cafés especiales como el carajillo frío de licor 43.

El sistema de reservas va bastante regular. Pero finalmente conseguimos reservar. Nos recomendaron ponernos en interior en lugar de en terraza como dijeron que aparecía la reserva, que no sé de dónde salió eso porque yo no puse opción de sitio. Se estaba muy a gusto si bien es cierto que el espacio de paso queda muy justo. Nuestro camarero muy amable pero personalmente me gusta que una misma mesa la lleve un único camarero en vez de tres. La segunda cerveza se hizo de rogar bastante. La comida estaba toda exquisita pero 12€ por una cesta de pan por muy casero que sea es un pasote. El agua filtrada a precio de embotellada yo lo revisaría también. Sigue siendo de grifo y no se debe cobrar. Por lo demás una experiencia muy recomendable aunque no con frecuencia.

El restaurante se ve bastante bien, pero está demasiado iluminado. Considero que cuando sales a cenar debería haber un ambiente un poco más íntimo. El servicio muestra que intentan hacer las cosas bien, pero no tienen mucha experiencia. La señora que nos atendió respondía que “no se puede” a casi todo lo que preguntábamos del menú. Una simple ensalada verde, no se puede; pan con tomate, tampoco se puede. El menú no tiene muchas opciones. No quiero ser negativa, la gente trabaja y eso es de apreciar, pero sería mejor que hubiera más variedad. Pedimos solo un plato de verduras, que tampoco era muy abundante: tres trocitos pequeños de zanahoria, tres de calabacín y el resto solo calabaza. Una lástima, porque la ubicación es muy buena.

Food poisoning! We ordered fish of the day , it was turbot. The fish was mostly fat and raw, not cooked enough. We requested the fish to be cooked additionally. It was done, but 4 hours later we ended up in the emergency room vomiting and with terrible stomach pain. It is a disgrace such a nice place to make their customers sick. Extremely disappointed!!!

An exceptional location and a fabulous venue. What should have been a great culinary experience ended up being a huge disappointment: we had a couple of pre-dinner drinks that were served with two little dishes (one of salted almonds and one of olives). Half the party arrived late so we asked for another of these two little dishes. We thought these were complimentary. We were wrong: they charged 10€ for these in the final bill. A small bread basket was placed on the table. Free? Nope, this was charged at 8€. Starter of “The best Salmorejo in the world”came with a generous helping of cling film inside. Spoke to the manager who apologised, proceeded to replace it and then charge us for both. We had to complaint (again) to have them remove the charge from the bill. Half the starters arrived after the rest of the guests had eaten theirs. Mains were really nice and so were desserts and asiatico coffees. After our initial complaints we were expecting some small gesture (a complimentary coffee would have done it). Instead, we had to point out that they charged for the salmorejo (with plastic) for them to remove the charge for this and its replacement. We found it appalling that we were charged for the olives, nuts and bread and not a single thing was given as a good will gesture. We provided feedback on the spot. Politely; and quietly decided never to return. Would love to recommend this restaurant (i really would) but service needs to be better for us to do so, specially at this price point. Pity as a single gesture could have reversed our really bad experience.
