Stop at Gelateria Vittoria We took a short break at Vittoria, where we were warmly greeted by a very friendly woman who also helped us. The gentleman behind the counter was a bit less talkative. The coffee was excellent, and there's a wide selection of ice cream. For €9, we got an Americano, a cappuccino, and two tubs of ice cream with two scoops each—a fair price. One point of concern: the restrooms unfortunately left much to be desired. The mirror at the entrance looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, there was a strong urine smell, the toilets weren't properly cleaned, and the floor was wet. Good hygiene is especially important with products like ice cream, so hopefully, this will be given extra attention in the future.

The ice cream is excellent; I've been going there for twenty-five years. The lunch food is honest and made to order. The downsides, very downsides, are the terrible, loud music that left you deafened by the end of lunch, and the service conditions are nothing short of astonishing, almost ignominious (reminiscent of the movie Trainspotting).

A historic gelateria in Casteggio. In the past, it served some of the best gelato in the Oltrepò area. A few years ago, the previous owners sold the shop to new owners, and the quality of the products has deteriorated. The maintenance of the shop could also be improved. The gelato has gone from good to mediocre. The location remains central and pleasant, especially in the summer. It's a shame more isn't invested in maintaining this historic establishment.

Di passaggio per Casteggio in serata decidiamo di fermarci in piazza per un aperitivo. Ordiniamo tre calici di vino rosso frizzante (sgasato e acido), un campari con aranciata e un punch. Non ci è stato portato nessuno stuzzichino. Il conto è stato di 27,50 euro. Se potete scegliete un altro posto

Locale vecchio, gestione approssimativa e pulizia scarsa. Il locale era quasi vuoto: ho ordinato un cappuccino ed è arrivato quasi subito ma tiepido. Mia moglie ha preso un the caldo ed è arrivo sul tavolo con una bustina infilata nella teiera cane fosse l'ultima della scatola senza possibilità di scelta. Il tocco finale i bagni. Vecchi con ragnatela sul muro e soprattutto quello per uomini inutilizzabile con escrementi galleggianti. Mi sono pentito di non aver fatto delle foto ma ho avuto pena...

Prezzi eccessivi, tre calici di vino, 1 punch al mandarino ed un Campari piú aranciata 27.50 euro. Mai speso così tanto in un bar di paese, le patatine ci sono state fornite solo su richiesta.

Con un’amica ci siamo sedute fuori, dopo mezz’ora nessuno era venuto a chiederci cosa volessimo ordinare, allora siamo entrate a chiedere l’ordinazione. Finalmente una cameriera è uscita a prendere nota e poi ci ha portato quanto richiesto. Ho chiesto delle patatine di accompagnamento all’aperitivo e mi è stato detto che mi sarebbero state portate, ma non si è visto nulla. Nessuno poi è venuto a prendere il pagamento e alla fine abbiamo dovuto entrare ancora noi per pagare. Diciamo che mi fa passare la voglia di tornare.

Sitting at the table for gelato, the table dirty with ice cream from a previous customer who spilled it, the waitress appears and asks what flavors we want without providing a list, we order by feeling... I was hoping she'd clean the table... Instead, she brings the cups and places them on the dirty table, not even a napkin. Mediocre gelato, terrible service.

Was ignored by the waiting staff and then went to the bar myself. The Asian man and lady were extremely rude. When I paid my bill there was an issue with the transaction that was debited from my account but not received by the merchant. Immediately the Asian lady just started shouting at me. The other waiting staff looked embarrassed. She demanded I pay again and I didn't want to until I contacted my bank. Instantly she calls the police over €3.80 and became very aggressive. What type of person does that? Eventually I got my bank to do a chargeback while the police were there. Avoid this place at all costs.

I don't know what kind of ice cream you ate, but I stopped by yesterday afternoon and the ice cream was inedible, in fact I threw it away, you could tell it was old and honestly you could even see it from the tubs... But by then we had ordered...

The bar area is tidy and clean, but the bathrooms are in terrible condition. We don't recommend using them. It's a shame, because the place is in the main square. We reported the inconvenience, but were even laughed at.

You are shameful and pathetic to say the least!!!! I ordered a birthday cake a full week in advance. I specifically stated what to write because it was a birthday cake. I sent my aunt to pick up the cake and found a cake that looked like the pre-made one from the supermarket without even a birthday greeting written on it. I called them and obviously someone who knows nothing answered and there was no way to speak to the owners! I made a terrible impression to say the least!! It was a disgrace and I paid a good 40 euros!!! To say that I will not go there again and that I will give bad publicity is the least of it but who will compensate me for the damages of this embarrassment?
