What I particularly appreciated about this place was the precision and attentiveness of the service. The dining room where I ate was particularly lovely. This time, I had pizza, which I found to be decent overall. However, looking at the menu and the various dishes served at the tables, I think it's a much more suitable place to try the restaurant.

The seafood dinner was very good. I really appreciated the free tastings we were offered right after our orders: a slice of salmon and artichokes for the adults, and a small ricotta for the two children. The entire staff is very attentive to their customers. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas, first courses, second courses (both meat and fish), and desserts.

Il Veliero – Castellanza: good food, a welcoming atmosphere, but a few flaws to report Il Veliero Restaurant and Pizzeria in Castellanza offers a family-friendly, well-maintained, and pleasantly informal atmosphere. The service is courteous and attentive, and the menu offers a good variety of dishes, ranging from traditional to seafood. The pasta dishes, in particular, are well-executed, and the fish is fresh and carefully cooked. However, there are some areas for improvement. First, the pizza isn't entirely convincing: thin and sometimes hard to digest, with unbalanced toppings and uneven cooking. It's not the restaurant's strong point, and those looking for excellent pizza may be disappointed. Another major flaw concerns the prices, which appear slightly above average for the type of cuisine offered. The quality is good, but the value for money could be better. During our visit, we were also seated next to a very noisy table, likely a group celebrating a birthday. It's understandable that some guests want to celebrate with enthusiasm, but it would be desirable, where possible, to differentiate the dining areas: on one side those seeking a quiet meal and on the other those coming for a more lively special occasion. This would improve the experience for everyone. In summary: Il Veliero is a pleasant restaurant, with honest cuisine and friendly service. It's a good choice for a dinner with friends or family, especially if you choose seafood. However, we recommend that management pay more attention to the organization of the spaces and pricing policy, to offer an even more balanced and satisfying experience.

Non ho mangiato male ma spendere 18 euro per una pizza normale acqua e caffè mi è sembrato caro rispetto al cibo mangiato. Personale opinione.

Medium-sized pizzeria restaurant, but with plenty of space between the tables for comfort. Beautiful exposed wood ceiling, terracotta floors, and wooden chairs that are a bit uncomfortable. Very clean and tidy. The pizza is large and good, but the first courses, both fish and meat, and the second courses are better (the fillet with traditional sauce is fabulous). The mixed fried fish isn't abundant, but it's perfectly cooked, crispy, and not at all greasy! The waiters are attentive and attentive, even too attentive. They're even too quick to serve and clear away dishes, both when the place is busy and when only a few tables are occupied. Prices are a bit above average for the quality of the dishes, while the desserts are overpriced. Parking is sometimes a pain.

Locale "vecchio"... Senza pretese, poca poesia e poca fantasia. Pizza no. Se non trovi altro in giro.... Fattela andare bene. A proposito : le noccioline toglietele dal benvenuto!
