It's the restaurant I most enjoy going to if I want to make a good impression, whether for work or pleasure; it never fails. The quality, the atmosphere, and... everything, the genuinely good treatment from the people who work there, too. The only problem is that it's always full, and you have to book ahead of time. But that's not a problem; it's a sign that they do it well.
El Brosquil is that place you can recommend to someone and know you'll get a good impression because it's a sure hit. For starters, I'd recommend the grilled cuttlefish with broad beans and pine nuts; it's spectacular. It's also a nice touch that the calamari and other breaded dishes are made with chickpea flour to make it gluten-free. The mussels are fresh and have a smoky touch that gives it a special touch. As for the rice dishes... not much to say, they're perfect, sticking to traditional recipes, which is exactly what you expect when you order these dishes. They maintain the tradition of arroz a banda with the seafood served in a separate saucepan. For dessert, everything is delicious, and they have a delicious baked cheesecake, but I definitely prefer the orange tiramisu. Spectacular, super light, with an intense orange flavor and a caramelized top. They accompany it with a delicious walnut crunch. I want to mention the waiter with glasses and a beard who served us wonderfully yesterday. He was attentive to every detail, both with my sister, who is celiac and received freshly baked gluten-free bread, and with my grandfather, who was celebrating his birthday, and he was very attentive. Finally, the place is amazing, in the middle of orange groves. Through the large windows, you have a very nice view of the orange trees.
La comida del restaurante en general es buenísima. Muy buena calidad. Desde los entrantes hasta la paella (en este caso, valenciana). Siempre vamos en ocasiones especiales. Es muy grande e ideal para hacer reuniones en familia.
A really great place, hence its fame and waiting list. Our only criticism was that the Valencian paella was a bit of a letdown in terms of flavor. We ordered another rice dish with duck, porcini mushrooms, and foie gras, which was incredible. The starters and desserts were delicious! The touch of mistela with coca bread was a 10/10.
Discovering Alquería del Brosquil was an unforgettable experience. We went to try their rice dishes for the first time and were so impressed by the food, the setting, and the service that we made another reservation that same day. The second visit was even better: an amazing experience. The place is charming, surrounded by orange trees and with a serene atmosphere that perfectly complements their gastronomic offerings. The rice dishes... memorable. You go looking for tradition and flavor, and you find that and more: technique, quality, and passion for what they do. A special mention to Bea and Santiago, whose service was simply perfect. Warm, professional, and attentive to detail. Alquería del Brosquil not only delivers, it surprises. A place you dream of returning to.
I'd say it's the best paella I've ever had. It was spectacular, a real pleasure to eat. It wasn't too filling, but the portion was generous. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with large, comfortable tables perfect for a leisurely meal. If you want a good paella, this is the place to go.
It's one of those surprise spots that appears like an oasis amidst orchards, a hidden gem you'd never imagine still exists. I got lost trying to find it, but the journey was totally worth it 😜 The service, from the moment you booked, is a real plus. The food is excellent, with flavors that truly win you over. A place worth discovering: perfect for family gatherings, business meetings, a wedding… or even celebrating a divorce! Hahaha. (2 people €86/I'll provide the receipt.)
Charming location, surrounded by Valencian rice fields. We went for lunch with a group of 20 people and were treated very well throughout, without long waits or awkward moments with the service. We really enjoyed the food, both the starters and the main course. The rice dishes were different, each with its own specific flavor. This isn't the case everywhere, as they tend to have different flavors when it comes to rice with fish or seafood. Very good work. The dessert was fantastic. I recommend it.
They made room for us for two people, even though we didn't have one. We weren't familiar with the place, very typical of Valencian cuisine, surrounded by lemon and orange groves. The food was excellent, everything we ordered, and the craftsmanship and quality products are evident. We recommend everything: the atmosphere, the people, and the waiter Hugo treated us excellently. A perfect 11, more than a 10... please don't miss it!
Highly recommended, the crispy octopus is delicious, the fried fish is spectacular, and the Valencian paella is pufff, tears of emotion fell from my eyes when I tried it. The best paella I have ever eaten in my life without a doubt. The service is very good and the surroundings are great. Congratulations.
An iconic restaurant in the southern part of Valencia, surrounded by lemon trees and in a very natural setting of the Valencian gardens. A variety of typical Valencian starters and countless paellas, including fish, meat, and even vegetables. The dishes are beautifully plated. Very friendly and professional service. You can tell they take care of the staff. A quiet place with three different seating areas.
Completamente recomendable. Y el precio, muy razonable
Impeccable location in Valencia
Everything was delicious, we had arroz a banda 🥇 and orange tiramisu 🤤
Top-quality products prepared with care. Magnificent starters. The paella was delicious and well-prepared. The service and friendliness of the staff were unbeatable. It's been a while since I've been to the restaurant, but we'll be back soon.
A somewhat remote location outside of Valencia, but worth a visit. Reservations are essential. The rice dishes are delicious and offer unbeatable value. There's ample parking, although no shade. Everything is excellent, high-quality food in a setting surrounded by orchards, and at a more than reasonable price. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The desserts are the best (for those with a sweet tooth like me). The "Llesca de pa" (French toast with ice cream) is incredible. Meal for 4 with gin and tonic included for €40 per person. The wines are reasonably priced. There are places where the food is cheap and the wine is amazing, but this isn't the case. A highly recommended place that I will definitely return to more than once. ——— I've returned after a year, and everything is still just as good. This time, the lobster paella. DELICIOUS.
Exquisite service in a carefully curated setting, the dishes are well-presented and perfectly prepared, and of course, the quality of the food is worth mentioning. A highly recommended place for both families and business lunches.
Fabulous rice a banda, and served separately, the broth, crayfish prawns... Very, very good.
Impressive. A restaurant located in a unique setting. You can't leave without trying their garden tomato with tuna belly, clochinas, and their truffle fideua. I'll definitely be back.
Restaurants worth a visit. Excellent service and delicious fideuá. 100% Valencian food.
Amazing restaurant. It’s a little away from the city but it’s worth the drive. The paella was spectacular, if you want to know how the real paella tastes, this is where you should go. We also had the sheep cheese and Iberian ham, delicious. The place is nice and the service is good. Whenever I go back to Valencia I’ll be visiting this restaurant again 👌🏻
Quality food and good service. We went on a recommendation. The food was delicious. I think it's one of those places where it doesn't matter what you order, everything has so much flavor. We ate on the terrace very comfortably. The price was 30 euros per person (x3). I will definitely return.
I've never had such a delicious paella. You can't leave Valencia without trying it!
Very welcoming place with good food at a moderate price. Free parking available.
Fast and impeccable service. We ordered croquettes (very good) and bread and tomato with aioli, perfect starters, but due to hunger, we couldn't take a photo. The Valencian paella was delicious, but a bit salty for my taste. We ordered dessert and coffee ☕ to take outside as there were free tables, and it was a great idea to digest in peace and leave the table free for other diners. The dessert was delicious, a chocolate volcano with a scoop of pistachio ice cream—a 10/10.
Very good place to have a good time
Perfect food place food, service and atmosphere is perfect 👌
The place is great, with several nice, cool rooms and a really cool terrace. The service was excellent and very friendly. And the food was spectacular, everything was delicious. If I had to single something out, although everything was amazing, it would be the cuttlefish and the paella with foie gras, duck, and porcini mushrooms. Oh, and I can't forget the cava sangria!
Brutal! One of the best Valencian paellas I've ever had, with a wood-fired flavor.
What a peculiar place! I'm not from Valencia, but this restaurant was a real treat. It's very traditional, the food is delicious, and it's packed with people (a good sign). I'd love to go back.
A place to return to, very good quality, good wine cellar, good service, what more could you ask for?
Everything was great. The quality, the staff, the atmosphere. We'd go more often if it were less expensive.
This is my second time at this restaurant, and both times have been fantastic. It's very close to Valencia, next to the Albufera, and parking is great. It's both modern and cozy. The service is very friendly, and the paellas are amazing. I tried the foie gras again and I wasn't disappointed at all. It's to die for! They make it in a large, thin pan, with a shallow layer of rice, and it's very well made and very tasty. I would appreciate a little more, just to mention a few niggles. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. A must-visit for paella lovers.
Good starters and a good Valencian paella
A must-see if you come to Valencia.
To repeat!
Excellent Christmas lunch. Everything was unbeatable.
A wonderful experience. We ordered seasonal tomato with tuna belly. The tomato was delicious with a spectacular flavor, and the cod croquettes were excellent. We also ordered lobster paella, which was very tasty, and the lobster was rich in flavor and meat. For dessert, the French toast was breathtaking, spectacular. Everything was a 10/10. I'll definitely be back.
Although a bit out of the way and with limited signage, it's a place worth visiting. An old country house with a large grounds and plenty of tables. Reservations are essential. Good service and quality food at a reasonable price. Drinks are a bit pricey.
Quality, product, and great service. Brosquil never disappoints.
Very good quality and good service, highly recommended.
Probably one of the best restaurants serving rice in Valencia. Located on the outskirts of the city in an old country house and surrounded by orange groves, it's a must-visit on a visit to this coastal city. During our visit to this establishment, we were able to try the baby squid, octopus leg, and foie gras as starters. The star dish was the Paella del Señoret, delicious and suitable for any occasion, as all the seafood is peeled and chopped, of course with its socarrat sauce for rice lovers. Also worth mentioning is the traditional Valencian Paella and the various desserts. In short, this is a restaurant you can't miss if you travel to Valencia (it's a good idea to book well in advance as it's usually very popular). The prices are quite reasonable in relation to the quality and, above all, the amount of rice per person.
This restaurant had been recommended to us, and it was a fantastic experience. Augusto, the Italian waiter they have, is an unbeatable professional in both his hospitality and service. My congratulations to the owners for their restaurant and for having people like this waiter. Highly recommended.
😷 Covid-19: temperature check at the entrance of the restaurant, respect for distance between tables, hydroalcoholic gel, mandatory mask when you get up from the table, menu in QR code 👍 Traditional Valencian cuisine restaurant specializing in rice and paellas and other regional specialties. ➡️ It is one of these places where the quality-price ratio is in its right balance. The attention is very close and you do not feel invaded by the waiters. Better to make a reservation, especially if it is for weekends or holidays. 🅿️ Own parking.
Everything is great and very good value for money.
The a banda rice was spectacular. The waiter was very friendly. We'll definitely be back. Price: 33 euros per person, including various drinks, coffee, and dessert. My son has a nut allergy, and they changed the ice cream from the coulant (which was pistachio).
Great service and friendliness. The menu is also worth mentioning, offering gluten-free dishes. I'm not talking about salads or grilled items, but rather their wide variety of dishes, such as calamari, puntilla, and much more. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Christian for his friendliness, service, and expertise.
Excellent service. We were recommended this place and went without a reservation. They did their best to find us a table, which we really appreciated. The rice was perfect, the appetizers were very good, and the desserts were as good as the restaurant itself. Highly recommended.
I really liked it. The menu was exceptional, and the location was very nice. The only problem was the air conditioning malfunction, which made it very hot. The service was exceptional. Reasonable prices for the high quality of the menu.
Very good rice dishes and exquisite service
Every time I go to Valencia, eating at Brosquil has become a tradition. The restaurant is divided into several rooms, each with its own unique charm (my favorite is the one overlooking the orange groves). The dishes, as well as the presentation, are carefully thought out and boast intense flavors... spectacular. They have a wide variety of wines, rice dishes (I usually order the typical Valencian paella), and cauldrons. The desserts are amazing (my favorite is the orange mousse, with the almond lattice... although the last time I was there, they gave me a dried orange slice, which I didn't like at all). The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the staff is attentive. I highly recommend it!
A very cozy place, the service was excellent, and the food was great too. My favorite dish by far was the potato salad. I've never tasted anything like it. Highly recommended.
The arroz al senyoret was delicious! And all the desserts were excellent…the torrija with ice cream was amazing!
We went based on a recommendation and it was a great choice. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and what surprised us most was the price. It was about €40 per person for two people, a large meal. We came from Madrid and expected it to be more expensive, but we were very happy with it. The place is very pretty, hidden away but not difficult to get to. We will recommend it to friends and family, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. A special mention to the waiter Ricardo, who served us wonderfully.
An unbeatable quality-price ratio, a very nice place, with good service and good food. The duck rice was incredible along with the best crispy octopus and left room for desserts!
Utterly delicious! Beautiful setting in front of the orange groves. Traditional Valencian dishes, and the best paella (vegetarian) we’ve had in Spain. Not touristy, and the wines were beautiful.
We had a family meal to celebrate my mother's birthday. The starters—squid, bravas, and grilled octopus—were delicious. The rice with senyoret was phenomenal. The cheesecake and coulant were delicious. But if there's one thing I'd highlight, it's the service. The waiter, Cristian, made us feel very welcome. He was very attentive to my 6-year-old nephew, and he made the meal very enjoyable. We've been here several times and will continue to enjoy it.
Delicious traditional Valencian food in an exceptional location and with excellent value for money
Incredible place, the best paella I've ever tried without a doubt, 200% recommended
OMG... this is the best rice in the universe! For me, having traveled to different countries and cultures, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a place that truly has rice as delicious as this!
Good food, the rice dishes are excellent, good service with plenty of staff, and a very pleasant dining room on the glass-enclosed terrace overlooking the orange grove. The creamy rice dishes are very well prepared, and the paellas are downright delicious. The order comes out on time, and there are no annoying waits. They are thoughtful, with desserts, of bringing a small piece of coca with a shot of mistela. I miss a more extensive selection of Valencian wines.
Great place, good food, fast and friendly service. Everything is a 5.
This place is amazing, the only drawback is that you have to book well in advance, but the rice dishes are their specialty (personally, my favorite is the duck and boletus paella), they are very attentive and apart from being a nice place for a date or to meet someone, the price is not unreasonable and everything is delicious.
Everything was wonderful, the service, the place and the food. We had a very pleasant time at the restaurant.
INCREDIBLE!!! A place to enjoy. All their dishes are delicious! Delicious aioli, baby squid in a soft batter, and the lobster rice is unbeatable! The socarrat isn't burnt, it's simply caramel... a delight for the senses, and the portion is generous. The orange tiramisu is very surprising and has a very powerful flavor. The French toast is super fluffy and not at all dry. The service is on par with the restaurant's standards. The views are very pleasant. It's not in the city center, but it's worth a visit. You have to book well in advance. It's not cheap, but it's worth every euro. We'll be back, and I recommend it!
Everything is beautiful.
As always, everything is perfect. If you want to eat very well, broccoli never fails.
Delicious food! First-rate Valencian paella and orange tiramisu 😋😋😋
One of the best places to make a good paella! Definitely 100% recommended!
In addition to being in the garden and a peaceful place, the food is fantastic. Ideal for traditional food. Very good paellas. Spacious dining room for family meals. I recommend booking well in advance if it's the weekend. My favorite place to take out-of-town friends.
A beautiful establishment, pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, delicious paella rice, delicious and juicy homemade ham croquettes, and juicy and delicious homemade patatas bravas. It is recommended to make a reservation before going to eat because it is always full.
One of the best places in Valencia to eat rice and Valencian cuisine.
Good grilled pulpejo.
A pleasant space where you can enjoy paella and a good meal, with a good value and an extensive menu dedicated to authentic Valencian cuisine. It has ample open-air parking and is close to the center of Valencia.
Delicious food, excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and spotless restrooms. A place that leaves you with a great feeling, no pun intended.
My family and I went to eat today, everything was perfect, food, service, price and location, the last time I went was 9 years ago and the quality is still the same or better
I give it a 5 because it's a restaurant that never fails. Everything is correct and in just the right amount. As always when we frequent it, we had a fantastic meal. A couple of starters are available if you're hungry for paella. The place is cozy, a little noisy, but very welcoming. It's in the middle of the vegetable garden. The service is very, very good and professional. The waiter who served us (I think it was Kike) treated us with great care and professionalism. At the end, they give us pieces of coca de llanea with Mistral.
Spectacular! The rice dishes were amazing, the place is beautiful, and the views are stunning! The bonito salad was delicious, the baby squid was spectacular, everything was truly excellent!
A fantastic restaurant with an air-conditioned terrace and a large parking lot. The best Valencian paella I've ever had (€12.50/person), although the only downside is having to order the rice dishes in advance, and that they're only for a minimum of two people. The tellinas (wedge clams) are good, but the octopus is divine! The waiter's service was excellent! A highly recommended place, very quiet and very welcoming!
Excellent place to have lunch or dinner, good value for money
A cozy restaurant with good service and delicious food. The paella is spectacular, and to top it off, some exquisite homemade desserts.
An excellent place to eat good rice. We tried the duck with foie gras and boletus mushrooms and really liked it, although it's true that the duck was quite dry. The portions were adequate and correct. I would highlight the orange tiramisu and the French toast; the others seemed a bit weaker.
Highly recommended restaurant. Quality paellas and rice! Very nice, large room with a terrace. Friendly and efficient service. Parking. Unbeatable price-quality. Quality raw materials and very good treatment in the kitchen. Good local wine list. Try the grilled octopus and the traditional Paella, with duck, chicken and rabbit, they are amazing!!
A typical Valencian restaurant of high quality. It excels in all types of rice dishes. Good portions and high-quality dishes. They also have a wide variety of wines and very good desserts. I must highlight the wonderful location, and especially the service (we were served by Bea, who was very friendly and helpful). I recommend making a reservation. We'll be back.
Everything we ate was spectacular. The Valencian paella was incredible, and the place is very cozy.
Every time we go we order the dried rice with duck and shitake mushrooms, which couldn't be better, the battered octopus melts in your mouth and the fish pancakes are finger-licking good. The place is beautiful, especially if you eat outside looking towards the lemon fields. The price is a bit high, but if you want quality rice and eat well, you pay for it. 100% recommended. I go to eat there a lot.
I ate here again today. A fantastic restaurant to go with friends or clients. The waiters' service is impeccable, and everything seems very organized. Any rice dish you order is a ten, and it's in a charming location with a large parking lot. 100% recommended.
Just one word SPECRACULAR
Spectacular restaurant. Everything we ordered was perfect. Highlights included paella, octopus and cuttlefish broth, and cheesecake.
A very cozy and pleasant place, full of charm, with privileged views of the entire Valencian countryside. It has a unique design. We ordered from the waiter, who was very pleasant and helpful. Our favorites were the paella, without a doubt, and the octopus. Spectacular. The food was very well prepared, with top-quality products, and the staff was very pleasant and hardworking. We'll definitely come back! 💯
Excellent restaurant. Varied starters: squid, croquettes, esgarraet, grilled octopus... Rice tasting: red shrimp and duck with foie gras are a must... The French toast for dessert is a 10/10!!
A very pretty spot in the Valencian countryside of Castellar Oliveral. The food was well prepared with adequate service. The rice was very tasty: creamy duck and black pudding. The combination was a bit bold, but perfectly executed.
Spectacular paella, very good service
Fantastic as always, the service was exquisite, just as I remembered. A pleasure to return after years away from the city.
Great and excellent service!
The rice we had here (porcini mushrooms, foie gras, and duck) was a 10/10. And beware, the rest (starters and desserts) are just as good. The detail of the mistela and the coca en llanda to finish is enough to make you leave crowned like Rosalía.
As always, great. Quiet place, friendly staff, and very good food.
Sensational food, authentic paella. An absolute insider tip!!!
I loved discovering Alqueria el Brosquil. Authentic, high-quality Valencian paella. To accompany it, melt-in-the-mouth cuttlefish, homemade bravas with a hint of paprika, fresh clams, and crispy octopus to die for. The desserts are top-notch: millefeuille, orange tiramisu, and torrija with orchata... Definitely a must-try again! The service is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is a bit crowded because it's a holiday, but pleasant and relaxing.
Great rice restaurant.
Reservations are required days in advance due to high demand. We understood that the price-quality ratio they offer is excellent, which is why they are so famous. We liked everything about the starters we ordered, although we could have improved the "clochinas" a bit. The rice we ordered was excellent in flavor. The wine list is extensive, and the service is very good. The parking lot is a bit small. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of the "coca de llanda" (a kind coca de llanda) as a farewell; it was very good.
The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all very good. We ate salad, paella which was super tasty, and house cheesecake. Fair price. I only remembered to take a picture at the end.
Spectacular value for money. A very nice and tasteful place, with very friendly and attentive staff. We thought the food was very good, well presented, and reasonably priced! I would improve, to say the least, the lace, which wasn't crispy, and the rice, which we enjoyed, but could have been tastier. A place to stay!
A nice place in a somewhat unexpected location (among fields), but the food and restaurant are worth it.
El Brosquil...three times, and almost, three full houses... The last time, they missed the point (if there were eight of us, the appetizers should be per person, you can't split a sardine sandwich between several people. Come on... we have to tell them). The rest was good... Elaborate cuisine, rice dishes for all tastes, friendly service, and their own parking lot. A place to invite people from outside Valencia and make a good impression.
Fantastic appetizers: "cuttlefish with vinaigrette and broad beans," "breaded octopus," and tremendous "arroz a banda." Excellent value for money. A very good experience, I definitely recommend it.
Good product, treatment and price.
Very tasty and highly recommended for a good lunch. We ordered fidegua and puntillitas. Everything was delicious! I'm only lowering the rating to 4 stars because I'm a fan of socarrás and there were hardly any. I would have made the fidegua a little better, for my taste. I've attached the bill for two people. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
A highly recommended place to try typical Valencian food. We didn't want paella for a change, and everything we ordered was really delicious. We tried the esgarret, delicious red prawns, fried/breaded octopus (it's just as good as grilled octopus, but it was recommended to us), delicious suc de rapa, and tender squid with garlic and parsley. Ham croquettes that tasted like ham, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For dessert, orange tiramisu... I'd change the name if I had to recommend it... because you'd expect there to be some coffee in it. Definitely a place to go back to. The service was very attentive.
I'm going to be generous and only take away one star because of the place's reputation... it's my first time here, and the two savory paellas... I'm from the region and I know what I'm talking about. The tapas are very good. The place is warm, so it makes you feel uncomfortable. The service is excellent. Delicious, homemade desserts.
The soupy rice dishes were very good, the desserts were SPECTACULAR.
An exquisite rice
We were surprised by the location in the heart of the Valencian countryside. A well-maintained farmhouse in a rustic Valencian style. The food was delicious. Everything was very good, rich, and flavorful. And the service was excellent too. There were a lot of people in the dining room (there are several) and we didn't have to wait for our dishes. The paella was also fantastic. 👍🏻✅ An ideal place for meals with friends, celebrations, business lunches, or other events.
Traditional Valencian cuisine in the heart of the countryside. Spectacular rice dishes in a beautiful setting. Very friendly staff.
One of Valencia's most complete restaurants, offering haute cuisine in a unique setting. Specializing in paellas and rice dishes. Surrounded by orange and lemon trees. Excellent wine cellar. It has several dining rooms and a spacious terrace. It's one of the classics of Valencian cuisine. Excellent value for money.
We went for lunch and ordered several starters to share, and a couple of rice dishes. We started with the salad with tuna belly (delicious, but with too much mayonnaise) and squid with parmesan (very ordinary, we weren't impressed). We followed with the octopus with creamy potato and paprika oil (the creamy sauce was delicious, and the octopus was tender but salty) and the grilled squid (much better than the squid with parmesan, and the oil was delicious). For rice dishes, we ordered the Valencian paella and arroz al senyoret, and while neither was bad, we weren't impressed. We also tried a steak, and while it wasn't outstanding, we liked it better than the rice dishes. We finished with the cheesecake and the French toast with ice cream, and both were excellent without surprising us. We liked this place more for the atmosphere than for the food, and we wouldn't go back.
Very salty Valencian paella!!!
The food is spectacular. The receptionist has only gotten worse three years ago; her treatment of customers leaves much to be desired.
Very good service from all the staff. Typical and homemade starters, such as titaina or pork knuckle and squid croquettes, but the rice and paella (in a mixed plate) were hard and dry. They could be improved for rice specialists.
A charming place with good service. While the starters (escalivada) and dessert (torrija) were excellent, we ordered a Valencian paella for two that turned out to be too salty and didn't include duck, an ingredient they usually add here. Although we preferred not to mention the saltiness after telling them it didn't include duck, they did offer us dessert as compensation. However, we were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the experience we had hoped for with the Valencian paella.
