(The mushroom pasta was delicious, the polenta and the charcuterie and cheese platter were equally delicious, and the shortcrust pastry with the unforgettable plum jam.) We couldn't have asked for more for our lunch break! You could have just grabbed a coffee... but the temptation to stay overnight was almost too much... Friendly, courteous, and reasonably priced at almost 1900 meters above sea level, on a road that's a paradise for cyclists and motorcyclists.

Extremely friendly staff, breathtaking views, excellent cuisine. For years, I've eaten polenta at mountain huts that was disappointing to say the least. Here, I found an unforgettable cheese polenta. My heartfelt compliments to the chef/owner and his staff. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely return.

Stunning mountain scenery, a road that's sometimes narrow and endless to reach this refuge nestled in the midst of imposing mountains. Super friendly staff who try to accommodate even people like me without a reservation. GREAT! Simple, authentic, and local food! Come!!!!!

Many many thanks to Andrea and his wonderful team for his phantastic hospitality. We arrived at night, without reservation, and they found 3 beds for us, we could have a shower and we also got and great and very tasteful diner. In the morning we could have our breakfast at 5.30!!! Also thanks to this support and hospitality we could finish the 20k Ultratrail 2019 in time :-)

We arrived on our bikes at 6 pm and the server told us they only serve food after 7.30pm so we hung around in the area and got back there just after 7.30 to order and enjoy a dinner with a fantastic view. Now (maybe 20% of the available seats taken) they told us they started cooking already and they only cook on reservation and that they can not serve us anymore. If it is really too hard for you to add two handful of gnocchi to your already boiling water you really don’t deserve my money and I rather spend a night starving than supporting a business like yours. Thanks for nothing!!
