Continuando con la ruta del pasaporte del Café de Especialidad 2024, tocó visitar esta cafetería, ya que me quedaba de paso. El lugar se encuentra sobre la calle Burdeos, esquina con Av. Chapultepec. La cafetería es pequeña pero acogedora y cuenta con internet para sus comensales. Pedí un café Gibraltar, el cual estuvo delicioso; es una bebida muy similar al Flat White. Cuentan con un menú muy extenso de bebidas frías y calientes, con y sin café. La atención de los baristas es excelente; a diferencia de otras cafeterías que he visitado, los chicos son súper amables y atentos. Definitivamente es un lugar que vale la pena visitar, tanto por la calidad y el sabor de sus bebidas como por la atención al cliente.

Lugar chiquito pero bonito para tomar café delicioso. Todo está riquísimo y la atención súper amable siempre. Pidan un latte con vainilla o caramelo ya sea frío o caliente, un pan con forma de Totoro o un tiramisú, recomendados mil ocho mil. Prueben el tiramisú de pan de muerto no se van a arrepentir 💖.

Fui a probar la rosca de reyes y un café y me sorprendió gratamente. Es un lugar pequeñito, pero con una atmósfera increíble. Los baristas súper amables y buena onda, César es un chido! 😎, me regaló un Baphy!!! Sin duda regresaré a probar más de su carta :)

Small but amazing place, with lots of dark details. You can sit inside or they have a tent-like extension (great during the rainy season). Enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate with artisanal bread or cookies. The Baphy donuts sell out quickly, so order in advance.

Delicious rooibos latte! It’s hard to find places that serve those, so I was quite happy to find this place. It’s a little spot but they still have several tables and a bathroom. Very nice little patio where you can sit outside.

The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for sitting down to read, chat, or simply enjoy a drink. 🌿 The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The herbal teas are super relaxing, and the matcha drinks are delicious. Even if you're not a big matcha fan, I especially recommend the Yakult matcha drink; it's refreshing and balanced. 🍵✨ The hot chocolate is also a great option: it's delicious with whipped cream, but even without it, it has a deep flavor thanks to the cacao beans they use (it can be a bit strong if you prefer mild flavors). You can also order it with water instead of milk, which really brings out the pure cacao flavor. The red bread is made with sourdough and tomato, an original and delicious option to pair with your drink.

If you want to try real coffee, this is a good place to have one of the best around the corner, I ordered a filtered coffee from Oaxaca, an amazing Yellow Honey. An obligated stop is you are looking for more than just a mug of regular coffee.

I’ve been gatekeeping this spot for almost a year, but it’s too good to keep quiet any longer. Easily the best coffee in the city. The baristas work with care and precision, but without the “I’ll start your drink when I feel like it” vibe you get at other places. Service is fast, methodical, and friendly, with a down-to-earth staff that clearly loves what they do. They also make a killer carajillo, and have lunch options and sweet treats if that’s your thing.

It’s tough to find a place that lives up to its 5* review on google, but this is it. It was a treat watching the drinks get made. The grinds are measured out to the exact weight and the shots pulled and timed. Perfectly steamed milk and with such great customer service. Pastries are also good. I was only in Mexico City for 2 days, but lucky I found this spot on day 1 so got to go back a couple of times. Absolutely amazing.

I wish I had stopped by this place sooner! It is right around the corner from where I was staying but I found out about it on my last day. I had a delicious strawberry tisane and a perfect mocha. The gothy vibes are immaculate. I will definitely return~!

My friend, a complete coffee snob, recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. My cappuccino was creamy and delicious, complete with an adorable decoration. The guy who owns this place knows his stuff. My friend (the coffee snob :) asked about the many varieties, and the barista explained beautifully, allowing us to smell the beans sourced from around Mexico. The vibe is a little bit punk but super friendly and fun. There are pastries and sandwiches available, all which looked delicious, but this is the type of place you seek out for the coffee and expert barista experience. Fun extra 1: my tea was served the way tea should be - the first quick steep thrown out so you get the best flavor. The barista will refill the teapot for a 3rd steep (for free) if you’d like. Fun extra 2: the “obscura” theme extends to some of the pastries. My friend and I shared a delicious jet black croissant (that didn’t stain our mouths!) There are 3-4 tables, but lots of people seemed to know the place well and just stopped by for their drink to-go.

Ambos estaban muy ricos 😋😋 El lugar es pequeño pero tiene buen ambiente, quisimos consumir afuera pero hay demasiado ruido así que nos quedamos adentro El único punto de mejora y de hecho lo comenté con el chico que nos atendió fue que pusieron una barra y está súper alta. Así que personas bajas nos queda muy arriba. Comentó que lo han tomado en cuenta
