Pasaba de casualidad por el lugar y en verdad son de los mejores tacos de canasta que he probado, no tienen mucha grasa y la variedad de salsas y nopales en escabeche les dan el toque especial. Sin duda regresaremos.

They have a table with four chairs on the sidewalk and a counter where you can eat standing up. 👤 Service: The man, with his distinctive "Come on in!" shout, is very friendly. 🍽️ Food and drinks: The tacos are tasty, although mine weren't as piping hot as usual; they're a good size. They have pickled jalapeños (not spicy) and green and red salsas, both delicious. The advantage of being inside the store is that you can find a variety of drinks 😊 ⭐ Atmosphere: Between 1 and 2 pm, you'll find more people.
If you like taco de vapor (Canastas) you gotta come and try this stand. Currently 10 pesos per taco, it’s one of the best for sure. I got papa, chicharrón and adobo and others also got frijoles, all four are amazing. Didn’t get to try the mole because by 10am they already sold out.
If you're a little hungry but can't get anywhere, but want a good snack with a taquito de canasta, this place is highly recommended. The service, salsas, and rajas with carrots are a great option. Great flavor, a good size for a taco de canasta, and always very good service from Don Manolo. Believe me, I've been treating myself to this place for over 25 years now and then. You'll definitely order takeout if you want to please someone else. I hope this recommendation helps you when you're in the area. On this occasion, I missed the photos, but not the objectivity of my experience.

I didn't see the reviews until after trying them, but I can't believe it. They were some of the best tacos de canasta I tried in the city, and the man and his staff were super friendly. I understand that there may be bad days and good days, however, whenever I go back I will go to Don Memo for some delicious tacos.
The best tacos de canasta are Don Ignacio's! And I'm not saying that, it's the prize I won in the Vix Cravings Fight! Don't miss it! Congratulations, boss!

The tacos are delicious; I think the green ones are the best. The service is super fast and very friendly, you spend very little, and three tacos are enough to fill you up.

These traditional and exquisite basket tacos are found in a small corner shop. Just because they're cheap doesn't mean you shouldn't overlook them... The service is top-notch, and the adobo and chicharrón tacos are a delight. My wife took me here when we were dating, and they took her when she was little... It's no coincidence that they've been around for so many years. 👌

Don Memo's Tacos de Canasta are excellent, and the salsas are delicious. I'm not giving them 5 stars because it would be nice if they accepted card payments and could increase their sales. But I'll definitely come back prepared to avoid going hungry. THANK YOU, DON MEMO.
The perfect concept for tacos de canasta, well-served, excellent service, and very good prices. If you have the chance to visit them, you won't regret it.
The tacos don't have much flavor. However, they're okay for their size. The salsas, only the guacamole and the green sauce, are good. They recently raised the price to 10 pesos per taco, which is not recommended unless it's an emergency.
La 1a vez bien, la 2a regular y está última vez horribles! Los de chicharrón parecían de papa. Una miseria de carne. Los otros con una cantidad mínima al interior. Dejo de hacerlos o supervisarlos el dueño? Tortillas trozadas y/o despedazadas. Y lo peor fue los chiles en vinagre, las zanahorias sin pelar 🤢. Dudo mucho volver a ir aunque cambien la calidad y cantidad de los alimentos.
Deberían de decir que son tacos de papá con chicharrón... Osea a todo le ponen papa. No volvería...

Even the humblest stalls put on disposable gloves before serving tacos. Here, the man is just as likely to make money as he is to serve food, with the health risks that entails. A little more respect for the customer!
The most bland tacos I've ever eaten. I ordered some potato tacos and they tasted bitter; I imagine they were already spoiled. The only good things were the salsas and the horchata. I don't understand why they have so many people.
These Don Memo tacos are advertised and sold as tacos from Madero Street, but they are AWFUL! I ordered a basket for an event, and they were HORRIBLE, with no flavor, the tortillas hard and torn... DON'T BE FOOLED, THESE TACOS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ONES FROM MADERO!
