Excellent experience at this Celle Ligure restaurant. The location is warm and welcoming, and we were greeted courteously by the owner. The menu is clear and delicious. We chose the mixed antipasti, which consists of four samples of creamed cod, fried anchovies, seared tuna, and shrimp. We continued with Ligurian-style sea bass scallops and finished with a cocoa tartlet with hazelnut ganache. Excellent experience.

Excellent food from appetizer to dessert, a quiet place to spend a pleasant evening, and very kind and helpful staff. We stumbled upon it by chance, but it was a great discovery. We'll definitely be back.

After a walk, we decided to stop at Lanterna because they also had gluten-free pasta available for my wife. The service was excellent, and the food, both presentation and taste, was top-notch. We tried both the gluten-free and regular versions of the pasta with clam and porcini mushroom sauce. Our friend chose tagliolini with mazzata shrimp and cacio e pepe, and our friend chose a super octopus. Then, to top it all off, we opted for fried fish, which was excellent and not too oily. Definitely recommended.

Celle Ligure, another lovely little place to eat, in the center of Celle, is A Lanterna. Few tables, but comfortable and well-arranged. Clean and quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is interesting with an excellent selection of fish and meat. The dishes are excellent and high quality. The price is reasonable for the location. The wine list is good. Definitely worth a try.

I've been spending summers with my kids in Celle Ligure for years now, but I'd never tried this restaurant. I'd mistakenly ignored places I'd considered too touristy. Plus, it's always hard to find a table in the summer, which is why I'd never tried this restaurant. And I regret it. Today, after trying it out! The place isn't very spacious, nor has a limited seating capacity, but it pays great attention to the ingredients, the preparation, and the customer service. Definitely worth a try.

I had dinner at this restaurant during my vacation in Celle, one evening in August. Tables are both outside (on the sidewalk by the busy road, but not excessively so) and inside (preferable, since it's air-conditioned). Tables are well-spaced and sanitized, as are the chairs. They serve seafood dishes and Ligurian specialties, all paired with a good wine list. One small drawback: they're spoken and not described on the menu, so you don't know the price in advance. Beyond that, I had a plate of Gragnano spaghetti with datterino tomatoes and Cantabrian anchovies, which were exceptional in terms of balanced flavor and perfect cooking. For my main course, I had a Ligurian-style catch of the day (amberjack). Unfortunately, it lacked salt and the whole thing was poorly bound. I probably made the wrong choice. The mixed fried fish was very good, easy to digest, and not very greasy. I would have liked to try the desserts; I only saw them being ordered at other tables, but I was full. So, it's a fairly expensive restaurant (we're in a resort town), but I'd return, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good seafood in a charming place with stone arches, not the usual touristy, makeshift restaurants. Two first courses, two second courses, a bottle of wine, water, and coffee: €115. Recommended.
