A small, well-kept restaurant in the center of Cesano Maderno (that curtain over the glass panic door is horrible and dirty). The menu isn't very varied and is printed on an A4 sheet of paper. The food is excellent, both the fried food, the risotto, and the desserts, but the portions are a bit perplexing, as they're truly small. The prices are way too high for what we ordered. Risotto costs €25, fried food €25, and a glass of wine (which was a tasting) costs €7, which is too much. The service is quick for what we ordered, but I would have preferred the dishes (there were two of us) to have come out together. I wanted to try this restaurant because I've never been there and because, honestly, I had a The Fork discount and would love to go back, but with these prices...

We discovered this place thanks to The Fork. A very welcoming and well-decorated place, with limited seating, and I recommend booking. The menu is quite limited; I've included a photo of the March 25 menu (I don't know when it changes). The dishes are very, very good. There's a cover charge: water costs three euros and a glass of wine costs seven. The portions are more or less adequate.

Discovered by chance, nice location. In summer, dining in the quiet little square is delicious and relaxing. The fish dishes are good, the mixed fried fish is very light, though not the crispiest. The tuna tartare, however, should be served a little less cold. The mussels and ravioli are excellent. We'll be back.

This small restaurant is located in the pedestrian area of ​​Cesano Maderno, there are no cars or parking here. Nicely decorated and very warm, few tables, in hot weather you can sit outside under the trees. The cuisine is very good and the dishes change regularly. Excellent choice of wines. Here it is possible to have lunch or dinner at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality. The background music creates atmosphere, in general the place conveys tranquility. Attentive and considerate service. Recommended if you work or pass in Cesano Maderno, perhaps to visit the "palazzo Borromeo" .

A lovely, cozy, almost intimate place. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and some of the architectural choices are noteworthy, but that's just a matter of personal preference. The owner and the staff are very friendly. We ordered a single dish, risotto with ossobuco, which was pleasant if a bit greasy, with a typically autumnal character, and a beef fillet with porcini mushrooms. The cut was good, the meat was good, and the mushrooms were good. Prices are a bit above average. The 750ml water at €3 is a bit of a stretch. Overall, a pleasant place for an equally pleasant dinner.

The restaurant is in a city square and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I went on a Saturday evening. The risotto was a little cold, probably because they made it ahead of time. This is a place where dessert is more delicious than a meal.

Average lunch break, let's just say without any particular praise 😄 The pasta was good, but I didn't particularly like the pesto. In my opinion, the dishes, for a company menu, could perhaps be "enriched" a little more. The quiet atmosphere and the super competitive price are a plus.

Unfortunately, my experience was decidedly negative. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a gentleman. I explained that I had booked with The Fork, and he replied, "You shouldn't book with The Fork because it costs us." (If The Fork hadn't been there, I would never have come all the way to Cesano Maderno for lunch.) The outside service was fast and professional. I chose a plate of paccheri, which arrived rather quickly, but unfortunately, there were very few of them, very few, and they were also good, so I was disappointed. Finally, the same gentleman who greeted me at the beginning told me to pay only with cash, nothing works... I find it hard to believe that paying with the app isn't necessary, just the internet. Anyway, my experience was more than negative. I remain convinced that if a restaurant has agreements with The Fork, then it must fully respect their regulations, treating customers the same way, always!

ANTEFATTO: COMPLEANNO DI MIA SUOCERA e ci tenevamo molto a festeggiare in compagnia in un buon ristorante. Risultato abbiamo fatto una figura disastrosa. Ora mi raccomando proseguite solo se avete…

Pranzo con menù primo, secondo, contorno, acqua e caffè a 12€. Dopo il primo, arriva il secondo (pollo al limone): al primo boccone noto un sapore anomalo. Poco dopo, il cameriere ritira il piatto di…

Volete provare un posto dove ti fanno pagare anche il pane? Beh, siete nel posto giusto!! Lasciamo perdere tutto il resto tipo pasta cruda, porzioni da gourmet come da ristorante stellato (fa figo ma non basta), il fatto di pagare 3 euro il pane (un panino diviso in 8 pezzettini) ogni volta che lo chiedevi (inconsapevolmente) mi ha lasciato di stucco!! Va beh, fate i vostri conti, io li ho fatti e per 4 persone con 2 antipastini, ini ini, 3 primi ed un secondo con bottiglia di vino (forse l’unica decente) e 4 caffè abbiamo speso 122 euro (centoventidue)…boh! Fate quello che vi pare, io ho già deciso. P.s: avevamo il 50% con the fork

Esperienza alquanto terribile. Prenotiamo incuriositi dall'offerta tramite The Fork per cucina a base di pesce. Veniamo fatti accomodare, l'ambiente e' senza pretese ma tutto sommato carino e accogliente. La prima nota stonata e' il pane: un cestino di crostini secchi riscaldati (avrebbero senso forse solo con una zuppa?) e pane decisamente non fresco, probabilmente fatto rinvenire. Iniziamo ordinando una pasta al pomodoro per nostra figlia piccola, che arriva dopo piu' di mezz'ora nonostante siamo entrati all'apertura alle 19:30 come primi clienti, a ristorante vuoto: rigatoni ultra scotti, senza sale, letteralmente immangiabili. La facciamo riportare indietro, chiedendo al suo posto una modestissima pasta in bianco. Nel frattempo arrivano i nostri primi, spaghetti con gamberi e salsa al limone. La pasta ancora una volta e' sciapa, i gamberi - quasi sicuramente surgelati - sono letteralmente quattro per piatto e piccoli piccoli, il sugo decisamente insulso in quanto a sapore, le porzioni abbastanza risicate. La pasta in bianco e' incredibilmente solo poco meglio di quella al pomodoro: spaghetti serviti su una brodaglia di acqua di cottura e olio, che nostra figlia mangia solo perche' affamata. Altra nota stonata: il grana grattugiato servito in bustine di plastica stile mensa aziendale. Il secondo - una bistecca di tonno con salsa di datterino e porri croccanti - non e' niente di che, ma almeno si lascia mangiare. Senza lo sconto sui piatti di The Fork, i prezzi sarebbero stati improponibili per la pessima qualita' (i primi sono listati a 22 euro sul menu!). Da notare che lo sconto non e' stato applicato sulla pasta della bambina (che abbiamo pure dovuto far rifare, bisogna impegnarsi a sbagliare un piatto del genere!!!). Al momento ho preferito abbozzare, ma di certo non e' stato un bell'invito a ritornare. E tre euro a testa di coperto per tovagliette, pane raffermo e il grana in bustina...no comment. Del resto, come dice il nome stesso del ristorante, qui si transita e basta.

I was craving risotto and ossobuco, but when my boyfriend called to make a reservation, we were told it wasn't on the menu but we could still get it... We ordered, but the risotto with ossobuco wasn't available, some of the dishes listed were missing (let me start by saying it was Saturday night and 9:30 PM), the cod wasn't available, and they replaced it with a frozen swordfish steak. My boyfriend ordered risotto, but after 20 minutes, we were told it was sold out, so they offered him a carbonara, which we were obviously annoyed about. We ate and left. 16 euros for a carbonara, which was a replacement, and 16 euros for a frozen swordfish steak, which had no flavor whatsoever. The waiter overcharged us and dismissed us without saying a word... Absolutely not recommended, a waste of money.

Lunch included a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee for €12. After the first course, the second course (lemon chicken) arrived: upon first bite, I noticed an unusual flavor. Shortly after, the waiter took the dish away, saying the kitchen had asked me not to eat it. At the cashier, the girl confirmed that "the meat wasn't fresh this morning." When it came time to get the bill, instead of the expected €12, they asked me for €13, explaining that "the first course and side dish cost this much," as if I had chosen this option myself. I found it surprising that, despite acknowledging the problem with the second course, the price was not only not adjusted, but actually increased.

I discovered this place through a TheFork promotion. The place, though small, is very nice, but the temperature last night certainly didn't invite dinner: it was cold. The menu is very limited but inviting. Alas, the portions served are very small compared to the truly excessive costs. - Fried calamari and shrimp: only one shrimp - Steamed cod: six 2x2x2 cm cubes, probably defrosted. The waitress, after asking us if everything was okay, when I told her that the portion was small, ironically replied, "My husband is from Puglia, and if he wants something, I'll take out the whole kitchen." I strongly advise against it, even though the presentation looked inviting.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Terrible service. Waited for my order for two hours, while my friends have already finished their food. Do not recommend, unless you want to ruin your evening. There are many other restaurants around with adequate service.
