I went to The River and tried one of their sandwiches: a truly pleasant surprise! The whole wheat bread was fresh and tasty, the meat well-cooked and flavorful, and the mix of vegetables, sauces, and cheese made each bite rich and balanced. Generous portions, accompanied by excellent fries. The place is welcoming and the staff are friendly. A recommended stop for anyone who loves a well-made burger!

On the recommendation of friends, we tried River, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Located near the center, it has plenty of parking, and we recommend calling to reserve if you're dining. Otherwise, you can have a drink until 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM on weekends. The place is beautiful, with typical English pub decor, except for a few less-than-perfect paintings, but we came for the food, so it didn't matter. The service was attentive and helpful throughout the dinner, and the dishes arrived fairly quickly! The fried snacks as an appetizer were delicious, and I recommend the mixed version so you can try them all. The sandwiches are very tasty, well-prepared, and carefully served, given their height, which will require a large mouth! 🤣 Special mention for the bread, which lasts the entire meal, right down to the last bite! The panpizzas are the best option because they're more manageable in size but just as good and made with "pork-worthy" ingredients! The price/quality ratio is excellent, and now we know where to eat or drink even after midnight!

A fantastic beer hall-style venue in the heart of the city. The refined decor, with its wooden details, is reminiscent of 1960s American taverns, with particular attention to craft beer branding and visible glassware. The interior is quite spacious and easy to access, thanks to the parking just steps away. The burgers are large and varied, taste good, and you can choose how you want them cooked. The beer selection is varied, ranging from craft beers to draft beers, with a limited selection of commercial beers (thankfully). Spirits are also available, which don't pair well with dinner, but are perfect with the appetizers, which are plentiful on the menu. The bathroom and rooms are very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for dinner or a post-dinner drink with friends!

Discovered this place thanks to a friend, a very pleasant discovery. The burgers are very good, and the Twister fries are divine. The prices are fair: burgers cost around €13, cocktails cost around €7-8, and there's a wide selection. Very nice place.

A beer bar in the center of Cesano Maderno, open late. The La Gorda red beer is excellent, my favorite. Burgers of all kinds are a bit pricey, starting at no less than €12. Service is fast and efficient. Ample free parking after 8:00 PM right in front of the place. They check your green pass. I recommend trying it.

I'm giving it five stars, but it deserves many more! The food and beer are delicious, and the staff are very kind and friendly. The place is very nice, both inside and out, and is extremely well-maintained. The measures taken after the COVID emergency are being followed perfectly. There really aren't any negatives, and the prices are also very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Everything was perfect! We'll definitely be back!

The quality of the food and beer is definitely above the average. Especially the artisanal beers are awesome. The personnel is extremely nice and helpful. The general atmosphere is very friendly and pleasant.

Sono stato in questo pub hamburgeria con amici una Domenica sera. Ampia scelta del menù, prezzi ragionevoli. C'è posto per circa 50 persone. Consigliati gli hamburger.

Excellent burger!! Found it while surfing the internet, satisfied with the burger, fries are not included, you have to order them separately, which is strange. The place and the staff were welcoming, we had a great time.

The River is a surefire hit! Quality beers available at a fair price, along with delicious sandwiches and appetizers for all tastes. Friendly staff, although they forgot to bring us sauces after we'd asked for them several times... It may have been a bit confusing since it was a Saturday night and the place was quite busy, so we apologize. A must-visit if you're in the area and want to relax in a good pub!

Very friendly girl att arrival. Burgers was served almost raw!! Asked for another run by the grill for medium to well done, after about 10 minutes the burger came back in, now chopped but still very red and rare.... Seems the staff was more interested in the locals dogs then us.... Sorry to say but how the hell can they get high ratings here?? Total disaster in my opinion! Put your money somewhere else. Will never come back!!
