I completely agree with the positive comments other patrons have made. The atmosphere is unique, like that of an old-fashioned trattoria. You sit down and they bring you whatever they've prepared. But everything is good, very good. The soup with borage will stay with me forever; it's uniquely delicious.

I was Canyoning Guide for almost 30 years in the Chalamy River Champdepraz. For 25 years of the canyoning activity, we were all the time in Angie Cantina. It is the most free Cantina in Aosta Valley. Angela is unique, crazy, friendly and it was my second house for a lot of years. You can eat the Aosta Valley food, all hand made by Angie, beautiful salami and cheese. Vine beers and grappa how much you want. Really super quality of the food. In the spectacular mountains of Champdepraz Mont Avic Park. My heart is there with Angie and the Chalamy River

This is an authentic italian trattoria! A place that both brings you back in time and gives you a fair overview of the culinary traditions of this wonderful region of Italy. On my humble opinion, one of the best places in Italy. Angie, the owner, will present you a menu based on the typical ingredients of the area, different on every season. The menu is not fixed and based on what she is planning to cook during the day. Shout out for the selection of local wines and home made spirits, in particular the pine-flavoured grappa. The price is on the lower range, but the quality is definitely high, as in several other small villages in the area far away from more touristic areas. P.S. If you happen to be vegan it is highly recommended to book several days in advance and let her know about that.

A wonderful corner of yesteryear, where, in addition to excellent, strictly local food, you can experience the enthusiasm and passion of a profession that is much more than a restaurant business, but the pleasure of continuing to preserve the original, historic local recipes. Very fair prices. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, just like in the olden days.

Angie serves you a closed menu based on what she cooks that day. We eat 4 starters and 2 main dishes, water, beer and coffee (with Genepy, a local alcoholic beverage) for 4 people for only 30€ (only accepts cash). The stuff was very friendly and we eat fantastically. Is a very local place, with the glamour of being with local people and enjoying the best local meals. Grazie mille Angie.

A place recommended to us that pleasantly surprised us, a true wine cellar serving not only good wine but also hearty, flavorful rustic dishes. The staff is engaging, friendly, and immediately put us at ease. Excellent value for money. The selection of grappas is unforgettable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, friendly atmosphere that feels homey and warm. I forgot to mention that at lunchtime they serve a very interesting workers' lunch.

Let's get one thing straight: if you're a posh guy who wants style and presentation, go elsewhere (we'll get over it). If, on the other hand, you like good, traditional food, polenta made on a wood-fired stove, and other Aosta Valley amenities, you've found your place. Special mention goes to the water jug ​​filled from the village fountain/washhouse—fresh and delicious. Last but not least, the price is fantastic, too. BRAVO!
