Thank you to this McDonald specifically for always being there when I need it. Mmm y’all always get the fries right so warm, crispy, and salty. I will say the drink machine is slipping up and the Diet Coke isn’t exactly right — the sprite is delish tho!
I’ve been to this Mcdonald’s an INSANE amount of times as a college student in the area. For the capacity of students they cater to, their service is phenomenal. They’re always fast and efficient. Their bathrooms are also always clean!
First McDonald's I've been to that didn't have a drive thru. No worries though, the experience was fantastic. Great location, they work hard and it shows. Always clean and their 99 sanitation rating is because of the effort put in.
Has "modern" sterile appearance inside. Parking lot is kinda confusing for someone who never visited this establishment prior. Food was what to expect from a McDonald's
This location is ok. There are mobile order pickup window and mobile order parking spots. However, there is no drive thru. My impression is that there are decent customer service and the food is as expected. My only complaint is about the older gentlemen that are talking loud and hanging out in here. One older gentlemen was unpleasant and rude to the staff. He said,” they didn’t give me my f-ing knife. I need a f-ing knife.” There are also homeless gentlemen hanging out outside at the eating area. Chapel hill has turned into the twilight zone. I wouldn’t eat here again for those reasons.
There was no drive thru,.No parking places. I was not pleased with how long it took me to get parked somewhere.The staff were great but if your in a rush don't go here because you will need at least 20min to figure out where to park your car.
Terrible service. Hard to find clean and wiped table. Staff shows zero motivation and zero customer care. I’m very disappointed with this local McDonald’s in Chapel Hill experience. Even yes, food when we finally got it was alright.
Pretty awful experience from the beginning. Tried to order from my phone inside the store. McDonald's app sucked and told me there was an error. So went to the counter to place the order. The young African-American boy that was serving me, seemed like he was being forced to work. He messed up my payment and charged me $16 instead of $6.44. Anyway, the black lady manager was the only professional there. No complaint about the food but the ambience inside the restaurant was very poor. Some indecent people who liked like they were homeless were there too. Even saw a guy sleeping on the chair capturing a whole table for himself. Another couple was on the phone and looked suspicious. Not felt safe while we were eating there.
Got a medium fry and it was not even half full. For $2.69(?)???? A little pricier and you can’t get your own refills probably because it’s by the university. They don’t use trays but only to go bags. Easy for employees bad for environment maybe. Food was fine but I got less because of the price. Trip #3 Staff does the lease amount of work possible. They still refuse to let you order in person with a home made paper sign telling you to use the self kiosk. The burgers are clearly made a while ago and given out in bad condition to save time. Workers on their phones then making food.
I ordered a large lemonade with no ice.I got a medium lemonade with no ice but got charged for a large.The employee told me that the manager told them to pass out the medium cups.If they ask for no ice inside the lemonade, and if that's the case, I should have gotten charged for a medium lemonade and just because someone asks for no ice does not mean that their drinks should be smaller because they feel as though they don't want to give out a large cup.And I am playing the monopoly game.So it really messed me up, cuz.I ordered a large just so I can get another piece of the monopoly game
TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! they charges for extra ketchup after 2 bags. Not enough staffs for refilling drinks. Probably bad owner, no one wants to work here?!
Came to place my order no one available to take my order and I could not figure out how to change drink size on the kiosk. Explained to the guy at pick up window. Anyway never got to order food. Very bad experience.
In McDonald's Chapel hill, there is a person who does not wash his hands when leaving the bathroom, I have observed it many times, whenever I go to lunch it happens that whenever I am washing my hand And I hear them flush the toilet and i see him coming out, he passes by and leaves, when i go to the counter he is taking the order or he is serving the food, Now I wonder if he's the only dirty one who doesn't think about the health of others. I don't want to tell him the name, I hope he looks at this and can be clean.
My food was ready ,Yet lady at window didn't hand to me and had me waiting,I was doordashing .then I ordered a quarter pounder that came with no cheese.
Horrible experience. Parking scam beware. If you park there and don’t order fast enough your car will get towed! It didn’t even take 12 minutes of being there when the car was taken. No fast food is worth paying a towing price of almost $800. How many people have had this issue?
I don't like this place .If you get out of your car, you will get towed. $360 fee. Not worth the risk. No french fries are worth $360.
If I give a 0 I would. My pregnant daughter is up there taking a class for work. She ordered food from Tropical Smoothie and was going to get an apple pie from McDonald's. So she parked in the McDonald's parking lot and walked across the street to pick the order up from TS then was going to get her apple pie. She was gone from her car for 5 minutes and I know because I was on the phone with her. When she came out if TS her car was already loaded by the towing company. She had not seen the sign on the corner of the property and the tow truck driver had to point it out. It costed her $290 that she didn't have to get her car back. This is beyond ridiculous and I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow. Be aware of this McDonalds and Barnes Towing!!!!!!!
This place is a mess, floors, tables, everything is dirty. Placed an order at the kiosk and waited 25 mins for my food which was cold as soon as I got it. Counter is constantly mobbed by Door Dash drivers. It's amazing how low the bar is for McDonald's now.
Staff pushes orders ready when they are not ready and you still have to stand anywhere from five to ten minutes for your order after they say it’s ready. Staff is rude and will ignore you if you’re standing there needing something. Filled my drink completely with ice and when I asked for more drink because I poured some of the ice out she stood at the drink machine for a few minutes and made me wait while I looked at her. Work in the area and it’s nor fun to get an order.
The employees take there sweet time to take ur order the cook was walking around in the back by the fryer drinking coffee it took over 25 minutes to get my food …. Was a biscuit an ice coffee mind u the homeless man that was taking on the counter got faster service that we got it seems to be more of a homeless shelter than a restaurant most mornings
the workers can’t get an order right to save their life. every time i order curbside i have to go back inside to get my order fixed. workers literally refuse to make eye contact with customers that are waiting for help. sometimes i go out of my way to the mcd in durham and get home quicker than dealing with the mcdonald’s down the street from my house. terrible establishment
Dirty tables, every single hand sanitizer container was empty, and there was no soap in the bathroom. The grossest McDonald's I've ever been to.
Made a moblie order 20 minutes before I arrive to the location for pickup. I get there & noone acknowledges me at the counter but everyone is standing around. I finally yell 'excuse me' to get some assistance & they don't even see my order. They ask me if I have the right location which I clearly do, I've lived here 20+ years. He brings up my order at the register so now I have to wait for them to make an order that should've been finished before I arrived. I get home & realize they didn't give me my babies happy meal so at this point I'm pissed. I'm on a lunch break & don't have time to go back. I call the number that comes up on Google & noone answers. I hang up & call back, now all of a sudden I cant get through like the line is husy or disconnected. I've been a customer there most of my life but THIS is the worst service I've ever gotten!!!!!!!!!!!!!
