We had read the reviews so were expecting something very different and we got just that: Each course was presented in an original way with a wonderful combination of flavours and products. The care and attention that had been put into each course was very evident and we enjoyed it all. Friendly and helpful staff. A restaurant to seek out when in the area.
My heart, mind, taste buds all of them are blown away! This restaurant is a whole other level of love, creativity and taste. The care and detail that went in every dish were sublime. The experience reminded me of the principles of perma culture; honoring time, slowness, the territory, the seasons, use everything, waste nothing, respect the land, respect life. 🙏 I am deeply grateful for this experience!

Everything was very creative, rivaling Michelin-starred restaurants but at a more accessible price point and with a much less stuffy ambiance. Had the special of the day which was slices of raw porcini and porcini ice cream (as a starter). Best to share with friends as it was quite umami. Raw rabbit was great. Main dishes were on the smaller side. Sturgeon was two pieces of fried fish. Best to pair with starters and primi. For the dessert, we had fresh panna cotta from a bucket and it was the best panna cotta we had in Italy.
We had a wonderful evening at la Rosa Rossa. The food was excellent, both for the taste and the eye, and each course came with a new surprise or additional treat. We were not sure what wine to choose and was recommended a Barbaresco that went very well with the food we ordered and a dessert wine that was wonderful.
Amazing and unexpected. Very creative culinary creations, with hors d‘œuvres in between. Worth going off the beaten path! Friendly and informative service.

Amazing food, lovely service…. New favorite on my List in the region. Had lunch for three so got to taste 12 different dishes and they were all delicate and delicious.The price is not cheap but totally fair. ❤️

Absolutely amazing food and super friendly staff
This restaurant in a beautiful city is perfect. It is a typical Italian trattoria with nice people and a menu with only fresh products. This means that they have a little menu but alway excellent. Every time we are in the neighborhood we eat here.

I appointed to go to this restaurant for quite a while but tonight I came at 20:15 and they told me that it was full while there were various empty tables and they close at 21:30. I do not know if they were expected 15 more people a bit more than an hour before closing ☹️
