I go to Sushi Panda's Tuesday buffet every two or three weeks, and I'm going to give my reasoned opinion so that I don't fall into the trap of writing a review based on just one visit. I believe that with sushi, the quality of the fish should be paramount, not adding large amounts of sauce to the rolls. I've been to very good sushi restaurants, and even when I've ordered rolls with sauce, they add a subtle touch as a "seasoning," not as the main ingredient. Then, two weeks ago I went, and I won't be going back until I've forgotten the experience, because an hour after dinner there, I started getting stomach cramps (we didn't even eat a huge amount), and the pain lasted for two days, requiring famotidine and antispasmodics. Honestly, I understand that it's a "cost" sushi place on buffet days, but the quality and condition of the food shouldn't be compromised, as it could have fallen into the hands of someone who would really damage the establishment...

The best place to eat sushi. Quality and good service. This was my review from a while ago, but now it's a shame. Have they changed chefs or what? The quality is bad; it reminds me of supermarket sushi. The rice is undercooked and falls apart when you try to pick it up. The fish is badly cut, and the rolls are very unevenly cut—some are small, others barely fit in your mouth. A huge disappointment; I didn't expect this drop in quality. I ordered again, and it's the same or worse. From being the best sushi restaurant in Chiclana, it's now worthless. The nigiri have the fish on top, the rice all stuck together, and the fish piled on top of each other—awful. The rice tastes bad; it's not cooked properly, it's not hand-pressed, and it falls apart when you try to pick it up. It's a shame that this is the only restaurant in Chiclana that uses a sushi balloon. I won't be ordering again, I'm sorry. I've tried several times, but it's poor quality for the price; the Mercadona brand is much better. Either they change the Itamae (the person in charge of food preparation), or it's throwing away years of hard work.

It's outrageous that we placed a Glovo order at 7:30 pm, scheduled for delivery between 8:30 and 9:00 pm, and it keeps getting delayed, now it's 10:30 pm and we don't know if it's going to be delayed any further… I've been trying to contact the restaurant for an hour and they're not answering the phone. And don't tell me the switchboard is overloaded with calls; I haven't stopped calling for an hour. If you can't do delivery, don't do it. What terrible service! And it's not the first time. We've given them a few more chances so we wouldn't just leave it at once, but it's truly awful…

It's unbelievable that they advertise delivery, you can call from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM and they never answer. If they don't want to answer calls, they should stop offering delivery. Edit after reply: Glovo is always offline every weekend. The call rings many times, but they hang up or just let it ring. It's not a matter of overloaded lines; it's that they simply don't want to answer. This is all happening at Sushi Panda Chiclana Centro.

I'm truly furious about what happened today. It's true we went without a reservation, that was our mistake, but honestly, going with two elderly people and having them go in first and ask one of the waitresses if they had any tables available, and her not even looking at them, but loudly and arrogantly telling them that if they wanted to eat there they had to have a reservation, that we should leave because we didn't have one, and that was it. I've worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and I would be mortified to speak like that to two elderly people who came in with the best of intentions, simply asking while I was outside smoking with my partner. And then the elderly people come back and tell us they were told to leave because they didn't have a reservation. There are better ways to talk, like explaining that if we didn't have a reservation, that we had to call ahead, and that they were sorry, but no. Instead, they spoke rudely and treated the customers badly. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to it, as we'd never been to this chain before and wanted to try it out since we love sushi, but it seems they've earned the exact opposite. And I do think it's the chain's fault for hiring people who don't know how to work with the public and, on top of that, have the nerve to speak rudely, with superiority and arrogance. Anyway.

I don't know what happened to this place. They kept us waiting for our dishes for 40 minutes, we had dirty napkins, and to top it all off, one of the waitresses "served" us as if we were bothering her. The sushi was good, except for some items that fell apart just by looking at them. I guess they set it up too quickly, realizing we'd been waiting so long, and they didn't do it properly. Shame. P.S. A little three-in-one on the front door hinges wouldn't hurt.

It's a shame, because sometimes the food is very good and other times it's inedible (it seems the chef has a lot of bad days). But this isn't really the problem. The worst thing is that it's impossible to order by phone or through the Glovo platform (it's always down). We called up to 7 times, and they always hung up, so we decided to order there, thinking they'd be ready. It was 9 a.m. and they had 3 tables in the dining room. We placed our order and were told it would be ready in half an hour. We asked if they were having a problem with the phone, and they said, "It's broken, there's no line." We went outside to wait, and not satisfied, I called while watching the waitresses through the window and saw them take their phones out of their pockets and hang up. There are many unemployed people who want to work. The owners should give their employees a break...

Total disappointment with today's sushi from SushiPanda Santo Cristo. We are regular customers of SushiPanda, and honestly, we have never received such a disappointing order as today's. The sushi was completely disintegrated, without the slightest firmness: when we picked up a piece, it crumbled completely. Furthermore, the pieces were noticeably smaller than usual, as if they had tried to save money on ingredients at the expense of quality. We don't understand what happened today, but it was a disaster. Nothing like the standard they usually offer. As loyal customers, we expect an explanation or compensation, because if this happens again, we will be forced to stop ordering from you. Really bad. It's a shame to see something we loved end up like this.

This is the first time I've ever written a negative review for a restaurant, but today's situation warrants it. My order was delivered, and even the chicken flower looked off from the moment I opened it. Sure enough, it tasted sour. I should also mention that the beef roll was tough enough to make even the most level-headed person nervous. I find it deplorable that this kind of thing happens in restaurants of this chain. Furthermore, at this particular restaurant, getting through on the phone is a nightmare. Basically, when they have more than two orders, they just hang up—I witnessed this firsthand when I went there for dinner. I hope the owner takes action and considers replacing the entire staff. P.S.: The delivery driver was very friendly and had a pleasant appearance.
