We used a free smart box, booked online, and the website was very well designed. We were satisfied. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. It's a shame about the weather, the outdoor location deserved some nice photos; it was raining.

On September 21, 2024, we held our wedding reception at Cascina Lautier, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We booked the venue about 10 months in advance, and throughout the entire preparation process, we never had any issues with availability or any misunderstandings with this venue. Atop a promontory offering peace and a beautiful view, we created our fairytale together with our loved ones and friends, and everyone agreed that the courtesy and quality of the food here are the best. So, a big thank you to Andra, Mauro, and all the members of this magnificent staff. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have hoped for anything better. Truly sublime. We did the chef's tasting menu, and it was fantastic: highly refined dishes and well-measured portions. Everything was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was impeccable: very kind, friendly, and helpful! We left feeling full and satisfied! It deserves all 5 stars, especially for the location and the view of the hills!

We came to this restaurant with the "Sapori Michelin" smartbox, and unfortunately, the kitchen had a problem with the gas cylinders, so they couldn't offer us the scheduled menu. They had to reinvent themselves in a very short time, with excellent results. They offered us a platter of cured meats and cheeses, two appetizers, a main course, and dessert, all without charging us anything. This is professionalism. The food and service were excellent, not to mention the location, which is truly charming. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Everything was excellent, the table service was attentive, competent, and friendly. The location was beautiful and romantic, with a fireplace and soft background music, making it suitable for children, who were welcomed without any problems, even with some more than normal crying (we're talking about babies aged 3-6 months). The food was excellent, with the chef's signature dish immediately followed by a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and then your order was served at the perfect pace for a peaceful dinner. There wasn't a long wait between courses, and the waiter didn't rush you either. I once again extend my compliments not only to the dining room staff but also to the kitchen staff.

We spent a wonderful Sunday eating excellently surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly, the service prompt and attentive, the food high-quality, and the desserts very delicious. The bathrooms were clean, which is far from a given. We'll be back soon to enjoy the wine, too, given the well-stocked wine list, perhaps in the evening to take advantage of the starry sky.

Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto mangiare all’aperto causa maltempo, l’interno è molto spoglio e l’atmosfera non è troppo accogliente. Menu con voci di carne e pesce e non sarà difficile trovare qualcosa di buono! I piatti sono presentati molto bene, ma purtroppo le mie alici sembravano un po’ troppo cotte e risultavano secche e un po’ dure. Anche gli gnocchetti appagavano gli occhi, ma la consistenza era un po’ troppo “soffice”. Peccato le aspettative erano alte. Il risotto molto buono, come anche il taco 🌮 di mais. Servizio con qualche pecca (che non ti aspetti da un ristorante così).

Returned after several years, approximately between 5 and 6. Upon learning on site that the Chef we had met on our previous visit had sadly passed away... truly saddened.... Unfortunately, we also found that the menus we had found years ago no longer exist, and the current menu, I would say, is quite sparse... In any case, we opted for an appetizer, a first course, and a second course, also using a Smartbox voucher we had, but we felt that for what was offered, the value of the Smartbox had been "underestimated." In any case, some of the dishes were good, while others were a little less so, given the previous level of the location. A bottle of sparkling wine, purchased and paid for separately through Smartbox, rounded it all off. Small flaws in the service, such as the cutlery used for the appetizers, not being removed with the dishes, and when choosing dessert, the Chef's choice was brought instead of mentioning the possible dessert option. The dessert served, an ice cream according to the waiter, was two scoops of semifreddo with cream and butter inside, completely unrelated to ice cream. I hope things improve in the future, as it would be a shame if a decline in the menu and staff could tarnish the reputation of a place that once had a 5-star rating, and perhaps more, across all possible ratings.

The Lautier restaurant in Chieri boasts an excellent, elegant location and excellent service. Unfortunately, the food (perhaps due to a change in the team?) didn't live up to expectations, especially considering the total cost of €120 for two people (two appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts, including two glasses of wine). Appetizers The round steak was disappointing due to its rubbery texture, which didn't melt in the mouth, compromising the overall experience. The accompanying sauce, while good, was poorly balanced for the amount of meat. The asparagus soufflé, on the other hand, tasted good, but its presentation was compromised by a cold serving, which detracted from its appreciation. Main Courses The veal cheek was reasonably cooked, but overall bland and flavorless. The potato side dish, though limited to five, was well prepared. The picanha unfortunately repeated the same problem as the round, with a very rubbery texture. Desserts The desserts were a positive note: both the cheesecake and the chocolate cake were very good. One suggestion for further improving the cake would be to serve it at least warm, rather than cold from the refrigerator, to better showcase its qualities. Service and Bill The service was exceptional and very courteous, a true strength of the restaurant. However, at €120 for two people, the overall quality of the cuisine does not justify the prices, being insufficient for the cost. In summary, Lautier offers a pleasant experience in terms of ambiance and service, but the culinary offerings need to be significantly improved to align with its price point.
