The restaurant is well-known in the area and is located in Riva di Chieri. The restaurant is very spacious and well-designed. The dishes reflect local tradition and are well-executed. The service is young and quite attentive. The atmosphere is formal and friendly. The bill is a little above average.

Reviews should aim to praise or criticize, but always in a constructive manner, and I'll try to do so. The San Martino restaurant has enormous potential. It has a large capacity that allows for entertainment, music, moments of relaxation, and fun. Some smaller, more intimate rooms are available for celebrations such as baptisms, communions, etc. I've been there several times over the years for different occasions. Some were successful, others less so. Let's just say you never know what to expect. It's the so-called lottery. But we mustn't forget that you're still offering a paid service, and therefore you expect everything to run smoothly, or at least to avoid management errors that shouldn't happen. I'll focus on last night. A birthday party, a table reserved for about fifteen people celebrating their 13-year-old partner. I arrived at 8:00 PM. The pizzas arrived at 10:00 PM. That's not fair. It's not the customer's problem if the room is full and there are 200 people. Because the restaurant thrives on large numbers, so these inevitable and perennial delays shouldn't happen. We need to work to ensure this doesn't happen. And yet, it happens very often, in fact always. And while it's true that entertainment probably helps with the wait, it shouldn't be standard practice. Two hours for pizzas is unacceptable. Furthermore, a photo and video screening service had been provided to celebrate the girl. A gift from friends that would have allowed for comment and sharing of a beautiful moment. The promised room had been given to a group of about 70 people. Legitimate because it was more profitable? Fine. But it would have been right to communicate this and allow the family who offered the dinner to decide on another venue if necessary. Sincere communication always makes a good impression. Imagine the sadness of finding out that same evening that those videos and photos couldn't be shown. And I emphasize that the choice of venue had actually been made a month earlier for this social necessity. I'd add that I'm not sure what the dining room staff should be doing, since they're too few in number to comfortably manage all the diners. Therefore, it's clear the owners aren't interested in always coming out on top. But profit can't be the only goal. People will surely notice this and will think twice about returning. That said, you're clearly free to manage your business as you see fit. Best regards.

I've been there three times for baptisms, but the last one was by far the worst. The downstairs room is still good because it's spacious, but the upstairs room is old, with tables and chairs that literally wobbled. The food was average. The owner was rude.

Posto pessimo. Servizio pennoso. Musica con dj che usa microfono tutto il tempo. Chiasso , impossinile parlare. Discoteca per anziani travestita da ristorznte. Hanno autorizzazione per tutyo questo??…

Locale ampio, buona la pizza ed il servizio dei camerieri, prezzi elevati, allucinante la caduta dai condizionatori, durante la cena, di fuliggine nera che ha invaso i tavoli e le persone sedute.

Esperienza pessima. Sono stato oggi per un pranzo organizzato di oltre 400 persone. Nulla da dire nei confronti dei camerieri, tutti molto educati e a modo. Notavo in loro un certo imbarazzo bel port…

Sabato sera a un compleanno 17 persone .. aspettato per la pizza 3 ore ... e poi la metà erano crude sotto .. è vero c 'erano molti tavoli da tante persone ma a noi ci hanno proprio ignorati . Dopo altre 2 ore un pezzetto di torta e poi più nulla ne caffè né amaro ci hanno dimenticati . Sicuramente mai più se non sanno organizzarsi cambino mestiere .

I hate to say it, but for me the only flaw is the animation. It's too loud and you can't understand anything. Can't you remove it? It wasn't there before, and it was much better. If you keep it up, we won't come anymore.

I spent New Year's Eve there, a night to forget, a total disappointment. The owners were disrespectful and unprofessional. The organization was terrible, and the food was equally terrible.

Birthday dinner. Thirty people arrived at the restaurant. Food ordered at 9 PM. Drinks arrived immediately, in a chaotic and non-stop fashion. The food began arriving between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM. A TWO-HOUR WAIT. Also, the menu items were poorly cooked or raw. Pizzas arrived incorrectly, other pizzas never arrived at all. We were asked and requested confirmation of various orders over and over again. Some pizzas had raw or incorrect toppings. Not to mention the service, the frankly rude and, above all, disrespectful responses from the staff, some mistakes in taking orders, without taking responsibility and, in fact, even having the nerve to blame us. The children's dishes also arrived at 11 PM and beyond. The icing on the cake: the accusation of a large sum of money missing from the final bill in response to another guest's review. I should point out that the bill was paid down to the last cent. ABSURD and SHAMEFUL. The only positive note of the evening was the entertainment: the DJ and entertainer were amazing and brilliant. At least they managed to make up for the two-hour wait. I'm curious to see the friendly response to this review now :).

Terrible experience, a table of 30 people, all dissatisfied! Unclear prices, unspeakable service, and not the waiters' fault! The food and hospitality were zero! Indescribable!

I gave it one star because it's impossible to give it less than 1. The place and food are poor. The owner is rude and disrespectful. Nothing to say about the staff, who are always available.

An 18th birthday party. The aperitif buffet was set up in a small corner of the room, where about 60 people had to queue up to get a "savoury snack" that they took away on a paper napkin. And you know how these things go here: "Blessed are the last if the first are honest"... and of course the first courses weren't honest... so more than a few people were left without, especially since everything was limited to the bare minimum. After about an hour, the appetizer buffet arrived. Same thing, everyone queuing up to grab as many items as possible. After another 3/4 hour, the first course samples arrived. A spoonful of risotto and three very low-quality agnolotti. Fortunately, and I don't know why, the second course didn't arrive. The dessert was a mini portion of a miniature cake compared to the number of people present. The waiters (only two) to serve a room of 60 people... terrible food quality and terrible management.

What can I say? It wasn't a terrible experience, it was even worse! We were invited to celebrate two eighteenth birthdays. I've never seen anything like it. It wasn't right from start to finish. It was incredibly disorganized. We arrived at 8:00 PM, and it started at 9:30 PM with a sort of aperitif, picked up with a napkin (are you kidding? A plastic plate costs that much?). There weren't even any napkins; they ran out of those four and didn't bring any more. Another hour or hour and a half for the appetizers. We arrived at around 11:30 PM, and from there I heard them decide to serve the cake. They started handing it out around 12:30 AM. Zero organization. A word of advice: the location is worth it, but please change your profession.

A place to absolutely forget! The owner, the lady, was very rude, especially towards the staff and customers. I assume her husband was equally rude and irritable, saying that olives on the pizza...anything goes. We wanted Taggiasca olives!! We are appalled by the rudeness and lack of respect towards the workers!!!
