So we came here by ‘accident’. After a few rounds in Chieri, where one restaurant never opened (after 30 min waiting), one restaurant told us they were ‘complete ‘ while there were only two people in the restaurant, we finally arrived at Todra. We were welcomed with open arms and seated immediately. The owner(?) and the ladies in the restaurant were so helpful in translating and explaining the menu, it was an experience itself. Now the food: The kids had a hamburger, which both were tender and delicious. They were very enthusiastic about the homemade chips. 5* We shared a starter, the octopus. This was a second, but they didn’t make a problem about this. The pulpo was outstanding, crispy and full of flavour. 5* Our main course was lamb and veal. The veal was as tender as it could be with a delicious homemade sauce and the lamb was tender and full of flavour. 5* Dessert: homemade 5* The best part of the night though, was the brigade. The ladies and the owner made sure we were taken care of! The restaurant is very lively and people come in to have a drink and eat. Best experience!

A restaurant in the historic center of Chieri with an outdoor terrace. The staff and owner are friendly and very helpful. The food is excellent, from desserts to gnocchi to meat. There were a lot of us, it was Saturday night, and we waited a bit to eat, but we had factored it in. A slightly larger portion would have been appreciated, but this place is highly recommended. If we're in the area, we'll be back.

We went on Saturday night. The food was good. I ordered a burger on a plate, but it cost me double the price of a burger without a plate, and I wasn't sure why, considering the side dish was just a few fries and not the salad I saw on other dishes. Anyway, it's the same, no complaints about the quality of the food. The meringue in the glass could have been a little richer... A very welcome note was the kindness of the waitresses (probably young students doing a sort of internship) who set the table with great care and served us and took our orders with equal attention and friendly professionalism. A 10 to the young waitresses!

A casual place where you can eat and/or drink. The food is good quality, and the service is friendly and fast. The menu is extensive, including daily specials. Recommended for an evening with friends.

Cibo buono e birra ancor più buona. Ma servizio veloce e distratto, non avevamo ancora finito gli antipasti che ci toglievano i piatti perché era arrivato il secondo..... Locale troppo rumoroso e nessuna norma anti covid. Tavoli troppo vicini e fuori delirio di gente ammassata e senza mascherina. Nessun controllo

A historic venue in the center of Chieri, with a summer terrace, two dining rooms, and parking in front or nearby. It's been renovated in recent years, and is pleasing to the eye. The soundproofing isn't great, and you're forced to speak loudly to others. The menu is good, and the Gilac beers are excellent. I had the plated burger, but it wasn't a big hit. The food remains standard pub fare; I also didn't quite understand why they use sliced ​​hamburger buns. Since there aren't many pubs in Chieri, there aren't many options. I recommend it for a casual dinner. The prices are moderately high.

Posto bello esteticamente ma l’arroganza e la maleducazione viaggiano sovrane all’interno del locale. Servizio lentissimo. Cibo discreto, ho ordinato un panino con hamburger di Fassona che mi è stato servito freddo. Non ci tornerò mai più

The place is nice, but it's a shame one of the two owners was rude. When asked to change a drink that hadn't turned out well, he got angry, shouting in front of the entire dining room, saying he couldn't do it any other way, all this while addressing a 19-year-old girl. He also wanted to bring back the same drink, but it had been tasted by his employees, so we asked for another. When we went to pay the bill, to our surprise, we found ourselves paying for both drinks. Only positive note: the waiters apologized several times and were kind.

Unfortunately, it's not a vegan place, so unless vegans want to drink alcohol... I wouldn't recommend it. It's a very nice place, but it's run by omnivores who are very forceful and argumentative. Otherwise, it's fine for everyone else, especially well-endowed women.
