I've been coming to Zappy Pizza on Third in Chula Vista since they opened and have Never been disappointed. Always fresh & hot! Joe's the greatest & so is his staff Thanx! Cee Cee =}

I just recently moved to the area and have tried a few pizza places out. Once I found zappys hands down I wont go any where else. Its always fresh and looks so good and taste even better.

Great place for pizza the 10 dollar combo is great for one large pizza a 2liter soda and bread sticks with tomato sauce. The buffalo wings here are awesome too.

Stellar Pizza, killer price. A dollar more for thin crust Muy Bueno, muy delicioso. In addition just a dive into minutiae, I appreciated the thin Ultra crispy pepperoni with Optimum cuppage.🍕👌

Pizza is excellent for the $5.00 one item, or 6.00 for the Hawaiian, ham and pineapple. Good service also, so friendly and pretty Mexican young ladies that work there counter service.

Large variety of pizzas, very affordable, but overall, very delicious. Staff has always been friendly, if you're close by, it is a great place to order a pizza

My kids love this place. They even came up with a song for it😂. They have the best specialty pizzas too. Our favorite is the Mexican pizza!!! Yummy

Excellent pizza for the price. Unlike some of the competition that uses canned mushrooms and/or paper thin skimpy toppings, Zappy's uses nice sized chunks of fresh! They are really nice people too. My pizza was a Large (13.5") pepperoni, bell pepper, and mushroom for under $10.00! Delicious!

Guy up in front super professional and helpful. Pizza is good. Close your eyes and tastes like Pizza Hut deep dish crust. This beats Little Ceasars. This is my new go to for $5 large 1 topping pizza

My favorite Hawaiian Pizza in Chula Vista, prices are better than the bigger chains, and the Hawaiian is better than Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Little Caesar’s, Dominoes… you name it. Not to mention, I hate supreme pizza but the supreme from Zappys is pretty good Super friendly and quick service over the phone and in person. The lovely staff who run this establishment are actually happy to greet and see you, which I feel is such a rarity nowadays. Thanks!

Great first time, fast and friendly service. The supreme pizza was nice and large with a crunchy crust and soft interior, and fresh ingredients. It was extremely appealing to the eye and smell, the taste was exactly as I'd hoped, I'm no food critic, the sausage might have been a tad salty but can't have everything, honestly it's a great pizza at a very reasonable price. Will be back for sure!

When I saw it I thought it was just going to be a Little Caesars knockoff but it turned out that I was surprised. I really like the pizza it was really good. The pizza had that really good classic flavor in the sauce and the cheese and the meats. I got the works which had great flavor and I got a Hawaiian with pepperoni added. if you're looking for a good take-home Pizza to have with your family I definitely would recommend this place as I liked it a lot. I definitely will be going back.

Love, love the pizzas , we always get 2 or 3 pizzas, enjoy having leftovers for the next day , the employees are friendly and courteous, great "bang" for the price , I like it better than the big name pizza places.

The price is right quick service even though place gets packed on weekends. Pick up only but you can call ahead of time. Parking lot spots are very tight though. Cant beat it so when you don't feel like cooking or need a break from cooking it's the spot!

Zappy pizza if they continue making the pizza so good i have no doubt that they will be one of the best fast food pizza joints in america! I hope they don't raise the price of their pizzas its so cheap you can get a large Hawaiian pizza with pineapple and ham for only five bucks. Eating little Cesar pizza is like biting a cardboard box compare to this place lol. awesome pizza i give it 4 stars for the quality and price! and as always enjoy.

Well! What can I say, Yes it does have great pizza and guys of course working in there, it needs some clean up outside, so definitely best prices.

Can't really complain about a $5 Pepperoni pizza, so I won't. You get what you pay for. Menu is bare bones, Customer service was greet. Food was ready when promised but there was a ton of people picking up their order.

Super friendly, family-owned pizzeria with great service. I placed my order in advance, and it was ready right on time. The only downside for me was the crus, it had a slightly sweet, almost like cookie taste, which isn’t my preference. However, the tomato sauce was incredibly fresh and delicious. If I return, I’ll definitely try the regular crust to see if it has the same sweetness.

Pretty decent pizza, I like the flavor so much, good prices, and quick and good service. It is a must try.

This is a great little pizza spot with good prices. I don't like greasy pizza and theirs is never greasy. The staff has always been very nice and polite. They're not super fast, but if you call in an order it's normally ready in 25 minutes. Would give five stars if they had delivery.

They also need to update the menu on their sites or whatever because they no longer had some of the deals and the prices went up which is understandable but charging for extra sauce and barely getting any is really not good for business. I couldn’t eat it.

So I have been going to this pizza place the first time that they lie to my face about some one taking my order and they have poor problem solving skills because I was waiting for a 1 pizza and a zappy cheesy bread around 1 hour. I give them 2 stars because of the guy who works in the kitchen is willing to lie to your face. Xoxo

I placed a phone order for two pepperoni pizzas. One tasted like it was sitting for a while, stale. I called Zappy and spoke with Karina. I told her the pizza tasted like it was sitting for a while. The owner of the place doesn’t follow the food administration policy. The cashier handles money then makes the pizza without washing his/hers hands. Peter is a horrible manager. Be careful with Mario. Heads up people.

Awful cashier, she charged me with 2 sets of 8 wings and a large pizza (38.03) when I only ordered 1 set of 8 wings and a large Mexican pizza with extra chorizo, instead of admitting her mistake she called me a lier and didn’t want to check the cámaras to prove me I took what she charged me for. This happened on 11/05/2021 around 5:30 pm, I literally had to explain myself like 10 times to the guy from the kitchen who is the one that approves the refunds and he didn’t believe me. I don’t recommend this place, JUST GO TO A DIFFERENT ZAPPYS

This place is immature. The service is very dry and they give attitude way too often. I have given multiple chances and everytime I go the experience ruins the pizza. The food is okay for what you pay for but prepare for unnecessary tones from the workers.

They don’t wash their hands everytime they handle money at the cash register and quickly start prep pepperoni’s. After 8:30 don’t bother to call they woun’t take calls after that. Uber/DoorDash priority first than walk ins. If you plan to work there be aware their is favorism ,lack of cummunication,bad management, no respect for your schedule and can be easily replaced. They Only looking for people who work on the weeknds not ideal for someone who goes to school . Overral the food is great just sometimes though when it doesn’t get busy.

Ordered a pizza to be delivered through doordash, got the wrong order. Clearly their expo and manager on duty cant send out the right pizza to the right customer. Called to see what they can do about it and they conviniently wash their hands telling us to deal with it through doordash as if the doordash delivery driver is the one that cant put out the right order. After working 15 years in the restaurant industry i can guarantee you its incompetence from the expo and manager, especially if all you do is just push us aside to doordash so you can continue to make business.

I called 19 minutes before the establishment was advertised to be closed and they did not pick up the phone. I drove there since it wasn't far which landed me approximately 9 minutes before advertised closing. When I open the door, I was told that they were closed. Literally with 9 minutes left and prior customers inside waiting for a pizza. Bad service. Mind you, this was a Friday night. I asked why they did not answer, I was literally told "we do not take phone orders". I have never in my life heard of a pizza establishment not taking phone orders. I will be complaining to a manager tomorrow morning in person as well.
