I love this restaurant! I've been going for six years and I always leave feeling incredibly satisfied. Plus, I love eating while watching them grill the food. Anselmo, the owner, and his staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The food is spectacular, and the aioli is amazing. I truly recommend it 100%.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing, and the waitresses were incredibly friendly. There were eight of us, so I recommend booking in advance because it's always packed. The waitress explained that they have a selection of tapas (patatas bravas, potato salad, calamari, etc.). The main course is four chops per person and one sausage per person. The sausages include chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage), and longaniza (one of each per person). They offered the option of ordering chops for six if we thought it was too much, and then sharing the rest. Everything comes with fries. They also offer entrecote, chicken, or similar grilled dishes, but we didn't try them. The desserts were also delicious, and the portions were generous. The bill came to approximately €28 per person, which was well worth it. As a starter, they served us bread with homemade aioli, which was fantastic. We ate on the covered patio, but they also have an indoor dining area.

Carnes a la brasa , con leña de olivo , muy bien preparadas, acompañadas de patatas fritas (de saltarse las lágrimas de emoción de lo buenas que están). La Atención muy profesional, muy agradable y muy amables. Postres caseros muy buenos, (La calabaza asada con miel y la tarta de flan de almendras valen la pena probarlos) Y todo a una excelente relación calidad- precio.

Carne a la brasa de buena calidad, probamos las chuletas de cordero y estaban muy buenas, acompañadas de patatas caseras. Es servicio muy rápido, y muy buena atención. La segunda vez que fuimos, estaba lleno y había mucho ruido de bullicio de la gente. Puedes comer en la terraza si hace bueno. Aunque vayas un poco tarde y esté casi lleno, te atienden, y lo hacen en muy buen tiempo. Te sacan sin pedirlo pan de pueblo con all i oli, muy rico. Volveremos cada vez que pasemos por allí, ya que no te desvias casi de la carretera y es fácil aparcar. El precio/calidad muy bueno.

La cocina es sencilla, pero la calidad es suprema, ros comimos costillitas, longanizas, puntillas solomillo de cerdo a compartir y ensalada valenciana. Sobró mucha comida los platos son generosos y llenos de patatas fritas de la abuela, todo súper sabroso y bien cocinado. Si queréis un poco de brasa y pasas por la zona ve a comer no te defraudará mueven mucho genero por lo que éste está fresco, no os perdáis la rosca con al alioli la verdad es que es espectacular

Hemos venido a comer mis dos hijas, mi mujer y yo un sábado en el que no había menú del día. Te sirven de entrada un pan redondo y grande con alioli junto con la bandeja de embutidos y chuletas pequeñitas típicas de la zona. Nosotros de entrante hemos pedido unos calamares riquísimos que se deshacen en la boca. Para los cuatro hemos pedido una ración de tres. De postre yo me he pedido un trozo de tarta de zanahoria casera junto con un café. Son rápidos atendiendo ya que tienen mucha gente trabajando.

We called ahead to make a reservation, just to be safe, because we were going for dinner. When we arrived, our table wasn't set yet, but we weren't in a hurry, and the wait was practically nonexistent. Once seated, the very friendly and helpful waitress attended to us, and everything was great. It's a grill restaurant, so we ordered all meat dishes, some sausages, chicken, and a couple of lamb chops. We didn't have to wait long for our dinner. I was a little disappointed to find the potatoes were at room temperature; they weren't ice-cold, but they weren't hot either. I thought they'd be warm, but oh well, they were good, which is what I wanted. As for the meat, I'm not entirely sure why—maybe it's because grilled meat freezes quickly or what—but it was lukewarm, although delicious. Before that, we ordered two tapas: one of anchovies with olives (completely homemade), which were excellent, and another of cuttlefish. Furthermore, the first thing they brought us, without any prior notice, was half a round loaf of bread with a small mortar of garlic aioli (homemade and spectacular, by the way). The odd thing is that we didn't know this dish cost €4.50, and we were a bit shocked by the price and the fact that they hadn't warned us. However, I understand that the place needs to make a profit, but I felt a little cheated on that particular dish. Finally, to try the desserts, we ordered homemade flan, which was spectacular, and blueberry cheesecake, which was also delicious. Personally, I think the place needs another waiter because the poor girl was running around like a headless chicken, considering she was the only one covering two terraces, one in front and one behind the restaurant. It was lucky the weather was nice and everyone was outside, otherwise she would have had to serve inside as well. Fortunately, the guy who was grilling helped her serve the tables whenever he could. Both of them were very kind and friendly, by the way. It cost us €58 and there were 2 adults and a 5-year-old child.

We went to Casa Anselmo for the second time in a few years, from Valencia. We loved it the first time because it was a place where you could get a good torrà basically without getting yourself dirty. And they still have that. All the cured meats are delicious, including the chops, the village bread roll they serve you when you arrive... exquisite like the last time. The young lady who served us was also very pleasant and helped us choose the quantities, served us quickly... everything was perfect too. The only complaint I would make is that before you could choose the cured meat you wanted on the tray (there was bacon, sausages, and so on), and now the trays are closed: you can choose one with chops or cured meats with blood sausage, chorizo, and blanquet. We ordered one of each. Aside from that, we loved it and will definitely return, as the price was incredible for the quality.

No surprises here, you know what ask for. Excellent grilled meat (delicious lamb) and exceptional the sausages, the normal, the black puddin and the chorizo. Very good homemade desserts and a good price. You have to call in advance because the weekends is crowded.

Fuimos a comer un domingo, estaba a tope. Positivo: nada más llegar en la mesa, había dos hogaza de pan y Ajoaceite, que no nos cobraron. La calidad de la carne buena. NEGATIVO: Lo que no me gustó nada, fue el servicio, muy amables, pero se notaba que no eran profesionales, ya que atendieron a dos mesas antes que la nuestra. Nos trajeron la comida una hora después de llegar. Los precios, un poco excesivos, cada chuleta a tres euros, una longaniza a dos euros, los postres a cinco euros. En general, para cómo está la situación actual, solo volvería si fuera a comer a la 1:00 del mediodía.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars… I think €11 is a bit pricey for what you get for lunch; the portions are a little small. The bread is a bit different from the rest, which is nice, a nice change from the usual. All the waitresses were good and fast, except for one blonde woman, around 40 or 50 years old… she was unfriendly and had a sour face. We asked her for an extra drink, she made a face and never brought it; we had to ask another waitress. It's good for the grilled meats and such, but a bit expensive. I'm giving it 3 stars because of that and the waitress's attitude.

I give it 3 stars because they have served to us two times cooold potatoes and cold meat. But the paella was super delicious.
