A pleasant surprise. Guided and recommended by friends, the place is simple and pleasant, surrounded by impressive outdoor spaces. Parking is easy. The staff is friendly and smiling, the food is good, and the prices are affordable... even the set menu offers a variety of options. At full capacity, perhaps a little noisy, but... that's okay. We'll be back for the pizza.

Nice place, with a green area and a playground for children. Friendly staff, but slow service. The portions were small, and the menu was laborious, even on a Saturday. I had already been several times for my birthday, to see Juventus matches but for the restaurant it was the first time, I have to say that it was a bad hope, the play area for the children should be cleaner then it should have folders with restrictions because the older children (8 years and up) did what they wanted and risked hurting the smaller children, then as regards the welcome, disappointing, the owner (a boy with glasses) could have been more welcoming, we went for dinner together with a group of friends, the dishes arrived with a big difference in time from one to the other, but also for those who had to eat the pizza (we are always talking about the same table) my friend asked for the pizza the other waited an eternity for her pizza to arrive, I had to wait almost 30 minutes while my friends ate, we complained several times but the owner, the boy with glasses seemed to pretend nothing was happening, it was embarrassing, he only said "IT'S COMING DEAR" as if we were friends In short, even at children's parties, they're always serious. In short, the problem isn't the delay, because it's there, but the way one handles the situation, because we're clear that this Piazzaria restaurant isn't cheap.

We had lunch at this restaurant/pizzeria, which has nothing to do with a restaurant; it feels more like a bar. There's nothing Calabrian about it, maybe just one dish. There's nothing vegetarian-friendly, except for a pasta dish with tomato sauce. Highly not recommended; go to McDonald's instead. 😉

The "Calabrese restaurant" should be removed from the website because there's very little Calabrian about the menu: not a single pipi e patate (a kind of pasta with potatoes), mbacchiuse potatoes, stuffed eggplant, eggplant in oil, a little sardines, olives in oil, mushrooms in oil, soppressata (a kind of salami). And it seems absurd to me that in 2025 there are no vegetarian dishes except grilled or casseroled vegetables, and, by request, pasta with tomato sauce. I should point out that we were invited, so we didn't choose the place ourselves, otherwise we would have happily avoided it. The waiters are uninterested, except for Vincenzo, who is very good. Everything needs to be reconsidered!

The atmosphere isn't exactly a restaurant, as it has nothing of a restaurant except tables and chairs... Outside, you're dying of the heat under a kind of roof that amplifies the sauna effect! The pizza is by the slice, and not even the best quality. You're hungry because there are always school groups with parents in tow, and the waiting times are biblical...

We attended a themed evening, so I'm not sure if my review is valid as a regular restaurant. The atmosphere was family-friendly, a bit tacky and old-fashioned for my personal tastes. The appetizer (cured meats, cheeses, swordfish carpaccio, stuffed zucchini flowers) was decidedly good. The first course was a bit of a botch-up for me: it was paccheri (a pasta shape that's too thick) supposedly with walnuts and swordfish, but in reality it was drowned in cream (which is added whenever you want to add flavor to a dish... dish) so the walnuts couldn't be tasted at all, and I didn't like the diced swordfish. However, it must be said that many people (and there were a lot of them) ate it all, and some even asked for seconds. The second course, on the other hand, was very good: half a sea bream gratinated with cherry tomatoes and olives (which unfortunately wasn't enough) with good baked potatoes (in terms of flavor, size, and cooking) in just the right amount. The service was courteous and efficient. In summary: from what I know, it's definitely a good place, but if you don't expect much, don't expect too much. PS: There's a limited parking lot in front of the venue, so finding a parking spot on a Saturday night is quite difficult!
