Todo fue deliciosisisimo. Celebre mi cumpleos aqui y la atención fue demasiado agradable, todos en extremo atentos. La comida es deliciosa, especialmente las hojas de parra nunca habia comido nada mejor, supero mis expectativas. A warm welcome awaits you at El Jamil, accompanied by fantastic food and a beautiful space. This family run restaurant does not disappoint (crispy cauliflower, hummus topped with grilled meat). Cozy lighting and decor in a restored heritage Condesa building makes the experience particularly satisfying. We will be back!

Simply wow! True Arab culture and authentic Lebanese food. The menu is fully Lebanese, and the atmosphere is amazing. Even though there weren’t many Arabs present when I visited (besides myself), I really appreciated the authenticity and genuine Arab hospitality. I ordered the labneh bil toum, hummus, warak arish bil lahmeh, and kibbeh el Jamil al fahem everything was a solid 10/10. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location with a patio next to nice tree lined streets. Nice decor and atmosphere but the food is really the best part. Super fresh Lebanese favorites prepared and presented with care. The flavors and presentation were terrific. The salads fresh and zesty. Fatousch was amazing. Tabouleh awesome. The grilled meats still juicy and not over done. The piping hot bread was a terrific accompaniment to the flavorful dishes. Finish it off with a not too sweet but delicious baklava and a mint tea. Yum. What a nice meal. And the service wonderful and friendly. Highly reccomend.

I can’t say enough good things about our lunch here. I would give the service 100 stars if I could, and the food was amazing. We had the beef and chicken kafta, felafel, hummus and the lightly fried veggies. Everything was so flavorful and exceptional. This will be my first stop next time I’m in Mexico City

The whole experience was fantastic - the food was high quality, with genuine and authentic Lebanese dishes. The menu offered a wide selection yet refined enough to ensure all dishes get the proper attention they deserve. Special mention for the labneh and pita which were both the best I have ordered at any restaurant, and clearly freshly made. The service was really outstanding - we felt genuinely cared for and our needs were always attended to, without having to ask. The owners couldn’t have done enough for us and made sure to check in with my friend who was Lebanese. You could really feel the sense of community and authenticity, and genuine commitment to providing high-quality food and service. Will absolutely return! El Jamil is now one of my favourite restaurants in CDMX.

I had a great meal at El Jamil. The food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was great. I was dining solo, and wanted to taste many things, so they offered to give me half portions to two items to make a whole portion. The tabuli and eggplant (it was similar to babaganoush) were excellent - both were full flavored - well seasoned and eggplant smoky. The shwarma was also very flavorful. The owner Jamil was very helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere, seating, and table were excellent!!!

El Jamil in Condesa is an absolute gem that delivers the most authentic Lebanese cuisine I've experienced in North America. Being from Dubai and having dined at countless Lebanese establishments, I can confidently say this restaurant ranks among the very best. The hummus and bazenjan El Jamil were exceptionally fresh and bursting with flavor – each bite transported me back to the authentic tastes I remember. The shish taouk and lamb keftah were nothing short of heavenly, perfectly seasoned and mouth-wateringly juicy. Every element showcased the kitchen's masterful technique and attention to detail. The pistachio baklava deserves special mention – absolutely delectable and the perfect sweet finish to an outstanding meal. Beyond the incredible food, the ambience is wonderfully chic, creating the perfect dining atmosphere. A special compliment to the owner, who took time to chat with us and was a complete gentleman. His hospitality truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend El Jamil to anyone seeking exceptional Lebanese cuisine in Mexico City – this place is an absolute must-visit!

I’m visiting Mexico straight from Lebanon, and after a few days of sightseeing and trying new things, I was seriously craving something from home, some real Lebanese food and a good shisha. I found this place through the reviews and thought it might be decent… but it honestly blew me away. The food was super authentic. I felt like I was back home. Everything from the flavors to the vibe was spot on. The service was amazing too, and the staff and owners were genuinely friendly and welcoming. And as a double apple fan, I’ve got to say this is the best and most authentic shisha I’ve had outside Lebanon. Highly recommend this spot to anyone missing home or just wanting a real taste of Lebanon while in Mexico

Authentic and delicious Lebanese food! My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at El Jamil while visiting from the US. As a Lebanese-American, who has dined in Lebanon and with my family in the US, I will vouch that this is AUTHENTIC Lebanese food. To start, we had hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and kibbeh nayeh (raw meat with bulgur and spices). The hummus was creamy and flavorful and very obviously made using a family recipe (this was my wife’s favorite appetizer). The grape leaves were well stuffed and delicious. The kibbeh was FRESH and, for me, the star of the appetizers (if you like tartare, you’ll love kibbeh). For our entrees, we had the chicken shawarma (garnished Lebanese style with toum, pickles, and fries) and grilled lamb kafta (meat skewers). The entrees were cooked to perfection and very flavor. All of this was served with piping hot pita bread and the portions were great. El Jamil’s staff was friendly and helpful, and their service was top notch. Additionally, they offered an English menu which made ordering a breeze. The restaurant was clean and stylish and the ambiance was bolstered by Lebanese music playing in the background. We will return to El Jamil on our next trip to CDMX and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great Lebanese meal.

Everything about this place is just amazing! The atmosphere the Arabic songs specifically in the mornings the trees and greens everywhere. I had a short stay at Mexico City and I visited this place twice once for dinner and other time for breakfast and the food was just yummy! Best breakfast I had in a very long time! Highly recommend.

Y es justo lo que hace que regresemos una y otra vez. ✅ Ha logrado resistir el paso del tiempo manteniéndose honesto en sus orígenes. ✅ Logró resistir la pandemia. ✅ Un local clásico para los nosotros locales de la ciudad. ✅ lugar familiar, sin pose y cero pretencioso. ❌ históricamente la carta de vinos es muy sencilla. Nunca tienen más de dos o tres opciones. Sin embargo, creo que esto también es parte de su encanto . ❌❌❌ el precio de valet , nunca te lo dejan claramente explícito y no viene tampoco impreso en el boleto que te dan. Pedí ticket de lo que pagué y me dijeron que no tenían.

El lugar es muy lindo, con excelente ambiente, iluminación y colores. El menú es de buen tamaño, con muchas opciones y el personal es muy amable en explicar cada uno de ellos si así lo requieres. La comida es buena, sabe fresca y de buena calidad

La comida muy buena, el precio no es malo para la zona, pero el mesero nos atendió todo el tiempo como si fuera poca cosa la mesa, tal vez eso me haría dudar si volver.

La comida nos pareció excelente; todo estaba muy rico y de muy buena calidad. Al servicio no le doy cinco estrellas porque aunque son muy amables, empiezan a atender un poco lento cuando tienen varias mesas ocupadas (sin llegar a estar lleno)

La comida no es mala pero nada del otro mundo, el humus estuvo muy bueno, probamos cordero en diferentes platillos y algunas entradas, el precio es accesible pero elevado para lo que ofrecen, nada extraordinario. El servicio es muy bueno, pero en general no hay nada que te haga desear regresar.

Reseña del restaurante El Jamil El Jamil es un restaurante de comida libanesa ubicado en la Hipódromo Condesa, una zona con una gran oferta gastronómica. Sin embargo, mi experiencia en este lugar dejó mucho que desear. Para empezar, el espacio es sumamente reducido, con una densidad de mesas que sobrepasa lo recomendable, lo que hace que el ambiente sea incómodo y ruidoso. En un domingo, la cantidad de gente es abrumadora, y esto afecta tanto la experiencia del cliente como el trabajo del personal. Los meseros hacen su mejor esfuerzo, pero se ven rebasados por la cantidad de comensales, lo que provoca tiempos de espera prolongados. En cuanto a la comida, hay opciones limitadas y, en comparación con otros restaurantes de comida libanesa como (El Emir, El Sheik y el Centro libanes que tienen un excelente buffet). los platillos son pequeños y les falta sabor. No encontré un platillo que realmente destacara o justificara los precios elevados, que parecen más relacionados con la ubicación que con la calidad de la comida. En general, la experiencia no fue satisfactoria. No es un lugar al que regresaría, y creo que en la zona hay muchas otras opciones que valen más la pena. Ojalá los comensales de la Hipódromo Condesa se animen a explorar nuevos lugares y no se dejen llevar solo por la popularidad o la afluencia de clientes, porque un restaurante lleno no siempre significa que sea la mejor opción. Los comensales de la parte de afuera son bombardeados por vendedores y no es grata la experiencia.

I got the chicken skewers, they tasted fine, nothing special. For $20us I thought the portions were very small and I left hungry. They give you 4 fries and 1 small pita bread so quite skimpy overall and not a good value in my opinion.

The service was good. Friendly staff and a nice vibe. However, the food was not that great. Very tiny portions and not great quality. From the other reviews I expected a very high end mediterranean food but for example the kafta kabobs were extremely dry and and chewy and without a nice flavor profile. It is pretty expensive too given the quality. For 10 salty black olives, they charged $95 pesos which I thought would be a special type of olive but it was literally salty black olives.

Underwhelming food highlighted by overwhelming prices. Bland flavors overall, especially the labneh. Picture of their specialty dish, Tbone Ghanam, proved somewhere from 350 - 435 MXN. It had a quantity of meat to leave a baby chihuahua’s belly rumbling. The beef tartare had the texture of mashed potatoes, but I’m not an expert on Lebanese tartare. Not to be ordered if you enjoy tartare with a bite or flavor. Staff were kind and attentive.

Advertencia sanitaria. Fui a comer con una amiga y ambas terminamos esa misma noche en urgencias por intoxicación alimentaria. Han pasado más de 15 días y yo aún no termino de recuperarme. Es inaceptable pagar $1,100 por persona y que no exista el mínimo cuidado en la calidad y manejo de los alimentos. Al entrar a dejar esta reseña, me encontré con que no es un caso aislado: hay antecedentes de situaciones muy similares reportadas por otros clientes. Por la gravedad del problema, considero que es necesario que intervenga COFEPRIS. Esto no es una mala experiencia menor, es un riesgo real para la salud. No recomiendo consumir alimentos en este lugar.
