The food is delicious at this simple spot in downtown Iztapalapa. I enjoyed my mole enchiladas with refried beans on the side, which I ordered from the menu, although they also have a set lunch menu. If you add $28 to the price of your menu item, you get the soup of the day and a refreshing drink. I ordered rice, which was perfectly adequate, but the melon water was delicious. If you're lucky enough to be served by Salomón, you'll be fine; he's friendly and helpful. There's live music, and it's a pleasant surprise that the volume is low enough for conversation. It's a nice accompaniment, and at times I even enjoyed it. The quality-to-price ratio is reasonable. Every time I'm in this area, I'll remember this place as a good option.

I went with my partner and he ordered a Milanese as the daily meal, and they only served him like two strips of Milanese, plus it wasn't well browned and was more like skin. I ordered an enmoladas a la carte and the mole was very discounted and the cheese is like paper, improve the quality of your raw materials.

Very poor service, they take too long to attend to you and if you say something they get annoyed, if you repeat yourself they make faces at you, based on my experience I do not recommend them.

My husband and I loved eating here, but honestly, the quality has gone downhill. The service is slow, and the food isn't as good anymore. A big difference from the Guadalajara restaurant that's practically right in front of it.

One of those places that are in total decline, they've lost everything that once made them notable. A family Sunday spent half an hour telling me that what I had ordered on the menu was no longer available. The water was horrible, I couldn't tell if it was cucumber, cucumber with lemon, lemon, pffff. The sticky rice I thought was mashed potatoes. The chicken in the salad was raw! We had to cook it again. The only redeeming feature was the French fries, and we asked for ketchup and had to get up for it. I came in hungry, I came out hungry, angry, and disappointed. I don't recommend it. Go to the Tapatia restaurant across the street.
