Typical Huasteca food, but with red corn masa. I ordered migadas, and they offer them fried, but I ordered them grilled, which is the usual way in Valles. The stews were delicious; the only thing is that I prefer romaine lettuce. The prices are reasonable, and they have fresh juices daily. I tried a guava juice with other ingredients, which was very tasty. It's a very nice and comfortable place for lunch, and it has air conditioning. The service was quick, but the place was empty, although it's known that migadas take a while to cook. They also have green and red chilaquiles, and of course, they come with black beans. You can park at the Hotel El Detalle.

The waitress somehow avoided to look at us. But well we came with Birkenstocks and crop tops (it was a spontaneous visit), so fair enough. I didn’t get served a glass with my horchata and the lighting is very ugly and white. I really hope this is not for real the 2nd best restaurant of the city. Yesterday we went to Clandestino and it was kinda nice.

We had dinner there, and it took quite a while to get our food (about 40 minutes) because they were serving a group of people who seemed to be friends or family of the owner, as that person was giving orders to the staff. We asked what time they closed, and they told us 10:00, but Google Maps said 10:30. It seemed to me that the place was trying to create a better image than it actually offers. The food was average, and the atmosphere was awful because that group of the manager's friends was making a lot of noise. A very bad experience.
