Great staff,food good friendly drive through awesome cook.
I just dont understand if you need to add something to your order at the window you are told no. Then ask if I can add a separate order and was told no. So I had to drive around to order at the speaker. All I wanted was to add an additional roll.
The only issues that I had were that I didn't get Utensils for my meal of fried fish, mac and cheese, and okra. Also, I was okay with waiting for 7 mins for fresh fish. However, the wait ended up being more than 15. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. The portions are always good.
The food is always good, but last night the breading was falling off the chicken and today I'm getting livers and they said 7 minutes and I've been waiting 15 minutes now and still no food. Finally got my food and the car in front of me was waiting longer than me. She actually had a few words for the girl who works there and the girl said a few words back. So unprofessional of the girl. After I got home, the livers were awful. Never again 😒
The food is good. The time it takes to get the food is ridiculous. Several times it has taken so long. I just had to leave and get food somewhere else.
I ordered a #4 white meat combo and got two wings. I expected a breast and was not told there were no breasts either. I live 20 minutes away from this location and while I did check the order to make sure everything was in the box, I did not inspect the chicken pieces. I have no dinner now because I plan on taking the entire order back tomorrow for a refund. I tried to call the store but got a “subscription” voicemail. Very frustrated with this whole experience!
My husband went inside to order a side of fries because we forgot to order them through the drive through. While he was waiting in line, I saw all of the crew night member not wearing gloves while handling food. Gross. Also the men and women did not have their hair pulled up or in a net for sanitary purposes. They also acted childish and don’t take the job seriously. The food is good and the inside was cleaned, but they do need some proper training on hygiene/Etiquette. Also the girl a the drive-thru the one with acne scars, she kinda had a bad attitude as well. Let alone no dress code. Blue jeans shorts and black shirt. Dudes in back in proper clothes. Mixed matches with stains all over. Not trying to be a Karen just honest review.
Almost $9 for two oversized chicken nuggets that are supposed to be tenders.
I came here on Saturday 2/7 around 5pm; the customer service was horrible - no greeting at the window the cashier just put his hand out for the payment - my food was soggy and not cooked well, this location used to be my favorite but I will no longer be coming back.
Currently 9pm Restaurant claims they only have 8 pieces of chicken and are not gonna cook anymore for the rest of the night... Restaurant closes at 10pm bt guess ill take my money elsewhere
Since Im never going to catch up with the franchise owner, I will go ahead a leave a review, but I attempted to discuss before leaving this. Visited the restaurant. So many employees, yet nobody is working the counter. A young man takes my order. He is trying to determine how long the catfish sitting under the light has been there, but nobody knows. He offers me the option to get fresh and I agree. He tells me itll be 7-8 minutes and honestly, I dont care how long, Im happy to wait. A young guy with long hair appears and they tell him to drop fresh fish. A few minutes later, he decides to go grab the fish that nobody knows how long its been there and drop it back in the fryer. I see this. I also see another employee tell him no, make fresh. He says no. So I get up and tell him its cool I will take a refund. He raises his voice saying its not old fish. I told him I didnt care, he was instructed to make fresh and he said no. About this time, another young man, who I assume is running the front end comes to the register and tells me he will make the fish himself. While I appreciate the sentiment, why didnt he step in before it got to the point that i asked for a refund? At that point you can tell me its fresh and it could still be the old fish. Just unnecessary drama which caused me to drive 20 minutes away to another Chicken Express. Do better!
Im really getting Tired when I go to this location I always get the wrong drink. About 30min ago I ordered a Dr Pepper and a small sprite. Take a sip as I was about to leave parking lot its a diet drink then go back in line and tell them. They hand me another I got down the road its a Coke im not understanding how hard it is to get the right drink.
We came for drinks. That’s it. Waited in line for 5-10 minutes after ordering and it’s fine but when we got up to the window the girl that supposed to be doing drinks is just digging her hands into the fries eating them. No gloves just eating over the fresh fries that the poor guy who was doing all the work just got done cooking. But when he turned to ask her for the drinks she had this nasty attitude you can see right through the window cause of course she didn’t do them. She’s sitting there eating fries on her phone instead of making drinks and then has attitude she has to do it? Wild. The guy with the colored hair at the winodow was busting his butt and was genuinely nice so I appreciate him. But fr that’s crazy. Maybe tell her the drive-thru window is ya know…see-through…
Ordered the 12 piece mixed. Received 8 wings and 4 actual pieces of chicken. When I called to complain I was told to come back tomorrow and they would replace it. My husband went up to get it and they expected us to bring back the box
Not impressed. Ordered a number 8 with one family side of French fries and an additional side of mashed potatoes. Was not given a family side of fries or mashed potatoes. This location was on my way home. I didn’t realize until I was back towards north Fort Worth- maybe 20 min after, that the order was wrong. I called and asked if I could go to a different, closer location. They said no. Because they were all owned by different people. No effort was made to compensate. I had to go back to a different chicken express and repay for things I didn’t even receive in my order initially. Disappointing and bad customer service
Arrive at the drive thru and ordered two 7 piece chicken tenders dinners. It had been a long day for me. At the window I told they guy I wanted the dinners. He said you ordered the express tenders. I said chicken tenders not express. He was not accommodating at all. I didn't feel like arguing with him. But to pay 15.99+ change. This is what I got. I salvaged all the chicken I could get and this is what was left. Very disappointed.. 😡
Still your standard chicken express the workers are very, very slow. Do not go inside to order food. You’ll sit there for 30 minutes while they work out drive-through.
Half full containers of coleslaw. Gravy completely smashed and open inside the box with the chicken. Rolls flatter than pancakes. Takes a special kind of employee to put that kind of box together. They could care less about what we're paying for. Can't imagine how improperly the food was cooked. Health hazard for sure. PLEASE do not support this location. Please go somewhere else. They do not deserve to be in business.
Since the remodel, this place has been a hit or miss. They have a lot of young people working here who I think really don’t care what the Customer orders. I’ve had my orders, missing french fries, gravy and roles. My french fries have been hard and dry. I order extra ice in my drink and they don’t do it. I now have to order my food fresh which means I have to wait longer to get it. Be cautious and check your order before you leave the drive-through because more than likely it is not gonna be correct.
Guy at front must had been a miricale to get hired biting his arm while i’m mid order. It took me 30 minutes to get me food and i was sitting down eating the first one in there at the time. Don’t use gloves to put the food in the boxes just very unorganized. The date I ate here was August 29th at 3:30! Now there like 7 different people in here all needing food me and this sweet old lady watched muiltiple different families receive there food before us the guy at the front of this shift is not capable for a fast food job.
I arrived shortly after 11:00 am, and they were already out of dark meat for the 3 piece special. I told them I'd wait the 15 minutes it was going to take. The server explained to me that the first group of cars wiped them out almost immediately. I understand but I say, prepare better, because you know customers are coming for the specials especially when you first open. I get to the window and surprisingly my order was ready. What a joke. I've seen bigger pieces of chicken on a Cornish hen. I could fit all 3 pieces in the palm of my hand, literally. The server was apologetic and very nice. I appreciated that but the fact they still tried to get over on me. I'm not argumentative but fair is fair. The quality of the food has gone done drastically since about a month after they re-opened.
Ordered a #1 half spicy half regular and received all regular tenders. The food wasn’t good and like other reviewers have mentioned the food was always good before they remodeled it. The lady at the window wasn’t very friendly either. Do yourself a favor and just go down the street to Chick-fil-a where the food is always fresh and greeted by a friendly person.
