The name "Bob's Good Burger" doesn't do this place justice! It should be Bob's "AWESOME", "FANTASTIC", "ABOVE the REST" Burger or something to that affect. That was by far the best double cheeseburger I've ever had. Photos don't do it justice and I felt price was great as well. Total $16.02 included tip and taxes. I got more than I could eat and I'm a big eater. I had a double cheeseburger, large French fries, large soft drink and a totally awesome banana split. My hats off to Bob and the hard working staff at Bob's Good Burger for providing top of the line service and taste out of a 50's style dinner/drive-in!

My new spot for burgers. From Los Angeles and used to Tam's Burger. So far, this is the closest I've been able to get to it being here 7 months. Way better than Super Burger. Tried their cheeseburger, pastrami burger, and banana split. Was delicious. Love the fact that their sauce is thousand island based ... again hard to find in Clovis/Fresno. The guys working are super cool. Definitely will be back! It's our new burger joint.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the food and service was during my experience at Bob’s Good Burger. This place is a one of a kind throwback to a time when we would eat at our favorite diner: burgers, shakes, fries and such. The dinning room is like a museum of rock and roll culture. It’s the late ‘50s and the food is a perfect match. We had the #19 country fried steak burger, fried zucchini (instead of the crinkle cut French fries which are amazing), and a pineapple shake. We also supplemented our order for two with the popcorn chicken. All the food wasn’t really good. My hat’s off to the staff of friendly (Manuel, Josiah, and Priscilla), Job well done! When I am in Clovis, I’ll be at Bob’s Good Burger!

Man what can a say thay got the best burger in town and very cheep I had a banana split that I know I cant find one like this one in fresno or clovis. And my boy had the chicken strip. He really enjoyed it we will be coming back very soon

This place is really good n worth the price. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The zucchini is seasoned n fried to perfection I cant get enough of. My son brought me here for the rootbeer freeze which I highly recommend. The staff is very friendly. Especially the Hispanic cook who greets us and makes sure we are satisfied. I will continue going back to this place.

We loved it. Just saw as we were driving by. There are several chain fast food places nearby, but we wanted to support a local merchant. So pleased we did. I had the Pastrami Burger, and my Wife had the Avocado Burger. Both were fantastic, and my Wife said her onion rings were possibly the best she had ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ate until I was over full. 6 stars from us.

The vibes at this place are top tier. I’ve been here three times already twice during the day and once during the night. The night atmosphere was so awesome. They had LED lights on and 50’s music playing. I had a shake, burger with avocado and onion rings and my girl had their pastrami. I had a bite of hers and it was really good. I don’t usually leave reviews but I was actually very impressed by this place. Keep up the good work. It’s really hard to find a good burger nowadays.

Me and my friends decided to come here for the first time, we were a party of 10. Despite that, the wait was not long at all. And the food was absolutely delicious. Well worth every dollar. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with avocado and pastrami, and the portions were great. Fries cooked fresh to order, hot, crispy and well seasoned. In my opinion the best burger I had in a while. Oh, and the strawberry shake I ordered was made with Fresh strawberry not fake syrup like all these other places. Definitely a good dining experience. Will be back. Also, thank you to all the employees for wonderful service.

Good old fashioned burgers that taste delicious! Staff is always friendly, courteous, and attentive. Reason I say attentive, is because never has the staff made a mistake on our order or forgot to give us some of the food we ordered. Reasonable and fair prices as well. Traffic is not too busy either.

Just a 5-star local spot in my opinion. The food is the bomb and tastes fresh. They have a great variety of burgers, sides, shakes, and soft drinks. The atmosphere is all retro-classic and is made for a good dine-in/out experience. They do have a walk-up window to order on the side of the business. Can be a bit pricey. I ordered for two and it came out to $30. Worth it.

Best burger I’ve had in weeks! The sauce on the burger was so good. I’m surprised this place isn’t famous. I was so pleasantly surprised by the theme of the restaurant, I didn’t think these places existed anymore after pandemic. The girl that served me was delightful and cheery. I just picked it because the name was funny, but they really are the best burger. Defiantly go here.

This place is amazing! Food is ALWAYS correct when I receive my order! Very friendly employees also! I had an incident where my Uber eats driver took part of my order, when I called good burger and explained the situation they were very quick to resolve and provide me with when I was missing, knowing the Uber driver took the food! Found this cute 50's dinner restaurant on Google, friday april 25th . We had been driving for 6 or more hours and need some food. The cashier a young man was very kind, quick and efficient. The cook another young gentleman, working fast to deliver the food. I must say the food WAS SO GOOD WOW. I had the chicken burger and my sister a cheeseburger. The restaurant is not clean it does need some deep cleaning, assuming they are short staff. Regardless, these two youngsters were working hard and with a smile, you dont see that often now. THANK YOU

I grew up on Fat Jacks and was sad to see it go. The previous owners were not taking the restaurant in the right direction but I was happy to find out that it has changed ownership again and this time for the better. The food and service was great. It felt more like the Fat Jacks of old. If you haven't been back in a while give it another shot. Thanks bobs good burger!

Another word for this place, the better In and Out. Owners are awesome and chill, definitely something homemade from taste, the smokey flavour from the bacon as well is such a great touch. We have car meets there time to time and this place gets really lit during night! The neon lights give it such a vibe!

Recently tried Bob’s Good Burger. Had a pleasant time. Staff is nice, ambiance is amazing if old school diner is your style. Got the popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks, curly fries and plenty of desserts for the kiddos. Fantastic spot; definitely going again. And you should too!

Great burgers!! I had the Pastrami Burger and my wife had the Spicy Burger. Classic American burger joint decor, fun and 50's. Fries were perfect! Hot and salted enough but not too much. My wife had a milkshake and onion rings. Both were delicious, and the whole meal was exactly what you would expect if you were rolling up in your hot rod back in the day.

Update- don't leave a tip for the employees on your debit/credit card. It's not given to the employees. They recently added a kiosk for ordering! It makes the process so much quicker. The service is always great. It's usually the same cashier and he is a sweetheart.

Shakes and Floats are so good, no they are great! Burgers, and fries or anything I have had is good good, and the char on the meat flavor is two thumbs up. And the prices are wow, like what! Atmosphere fun! and quaint.

Love the food, but I have called for an order before and had them not answer for several minutes, or answer just to hang up. also the employees should let people know or there should be a sign saying you’re charged more for paying with credit.

Nice new place with fresh delicious food. I got the shrimp combo & the shrimp perfectly cooked. Fries could of been a lil more crispy but good flavor. Hubby got jalepeno advocado burger & it was so good. The sauce was a hint of spicy- with meat patty cooked good. I was wishing I picked that burger. Why I put 4⭐ beacause I wanted fish & chips & 10 min after I order they say they are out also they were out of tarter. Will be back though food was too good not to come back & good prices.

This was my second time eating here as I was just passing through. The food was delicious and inexpensive. The burgers and chicken burgers were both great. Was able to call in the order, so it was ready when we got there. Will definitely be making this a favorite place to eat at.

Drive up, burger joint. Great selection of burgers, Though I've never had one, Went for fish n chips, they were ok, I think I have the same fish in my freezer. But service was great, prices not bad, food was hot, wings were great, not under cooked, and the server made great suggestions. My Mom's root beer float looked so good and she loved it. And the fountain Pepsi was right on!

I gave a 4 star for the service. I ordered take out over the phone and food was ready and hot as soon as I arrived. The cook came to window and repeated my order to me, l liked that. I order the country fried steak it was OK I just felt the patty could have been a little more crispy. My wife had the Philly Cheese sandwich she thought it was lacking in every way. She fed most of it to our dogs they loved it. Fries were delicious, and the mushrooms were tasty aswell. My bro had the fish sandwich and loved it. I will go back and have a legit hamburger next time and maybe a shake.

This place is nothing like its predecessor. The old business that used to be at this location "fat Jack's" is definitely Superior. The variety on the menu is huge, everything from Philly cheese steaks, chicken sandwiches and shrimp baskets. Definitely a decent quick bite, but nothing I was excited about.

Started off good. But after 40 mins was told my food was accidentally given to someone else. But they'd give us an extra free item. So we choose chili cheese fries. Well after another 15 mins got our food no free item but it wasn't a big deal. Got home and some food we ordered was made wrong. My kids loved the food tho.

Formerly Fat Jack's, this business lags far behind what it was. The food is good, but the atmosphere of a 50s diner w carhop & table service are gone...at least at the time of this review. Worth stopping in, but don't make a special trip. BGB is about 1 step up from a chain fast food restaurant.

This the second time we've been here. And have to say still not impressed. All we had was shakes and fries. Fries were good and fast but shake we're also good but slow. Saw other customers get someone else's order and other customer had to wait longer for their order. Foods is ok but you have to wait.

It's ok, but if you're comparing it to Fat Jack's you'll be disappointed. Definitely not a five star establishment (all the other current reviews are five star for some reason). Food could be cooked hotter, fries seasoned more, music from the correct decade... but they did fix the front door situation. BTW: there is a credit card fee that they don't tell you about.

My husband, daughter and myself came tonight to grab something to eat while we were running around dropping off christmas gifts to some of our family. Most places were closed but this location happened to be open. We ordered a #5, a kids chicken nugget and the 3 piece fish basket. The #5 was order with no veggies and no thousand island dressing on it. Order came out pretty quickly, but the #5 was wrong. Had to take it back in to get a new one, they forgot the custom changes to it. They replaced it quickly. The food was okay, the fried were over cooked and some were hard. Like I would give it more stars if the Ice Cream was working.. they have a section of the menu just for ice cream but we couldn't order any ice cream. A plus is the fish is very fresh my husband says.

I'll keep it short and sweet. The restaurant and environment were very different than expected. I walk in to most of the employees sitting around doing nothing but talking loud. They finally get up to take my order and I felt as if they were shouting at me while only being less than a foot away. Food was very delicious even though my chicken sandwich was not spicy even tho that's what was ordered. I felt so uncomfortable dining in because the whole time the employees were loud and talking about personal family issues that shouldn't be discussed when customers are present not only were they talking about personal things. They were loud and cussing as well. Probably wouldn't come back unless I was getting my food to go.

PROS:The atmosphere is great. Love it when classic cars are there. I love the menu options. I like the desserts. CONS: They are always out of something when ordering. Been here a dozen times and they are out of something different each time. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes it's so bad I want to walk out. And by bad service I mean the person at counter doesn't know the menu, didn't order the right thing, or missed something we asked for. Very simple stuff.

I want to like this place but I'm confused about the inconsistencies. 2 weeks ago I came to this place because I live nearby and I had the avocado burger and the chocolate shake. I asked for a chocolate fudge shake and apparently they don't have the fudge to make it yet even though it's on their menu. They could literally go across the street to Smart and Final and buy fudge. Anyways, the first time I went the avocado burger and chocolate shake was so good, it's the reason I came back today because I was craving it. The burger I had today had mayo instead of thousand island like the previous burger I had and it wasn't as good. And the chocolate shake tasted completely different, almost as though they're using a different ice cream now. The fries are also thicker now versus the Mcdonald's style fries they had 2 weeks ago. I understand they are still relatively new, but if they weren't ready to open yet why didn't they just wait? The inconsistencies are the reason I won't be coming back.

New menu is deceiving. Went there a handful of times since ownership changed and it is a disappointment now. Even if you order it and pay for it and they forgot to give it to you they still think you’re trying to get over on them right at the counter when. You check your bag before leaving. Real disappointment.

Paid $41 for 3 combo's & 1 banana split that was highly recommended on here. Not bad. Curly ff were perfectly cooked. Burger extra charred, bun dry lettuce wilted. Chili cheese ff pretty good portion. Didn't get our side of ranch or ketchup & mustard on burger as requested . The banana split was just alright. It was slow so no excuse.. Disappointed. More detail to quality not just fast service is my thought. Not horrible but overall just mediocre just ok.

Had two combos and two orders of chili fries. First time customers, the fries weren’t salted and were stale and were horrible in both orders. Asked politely if I could exchange chili fries and regular fries for something else or have some of my money back and they said no! Person in the front was nice, guy in the back was rude! I would not come back here or recommend, service is terrible. Keep in mind I brought back a bag FULL of fries asking for something to be done, not a near empty box or something

My family and I used to like this place... the food would take a while to get out but other than that we liked it.... until last night!!! My husband and I went around 8pm to get some appetizer items cause we were tired and thought just some appetizers shouldn't take long to cook.... Angel the cashier came and took our order at our car and 20 minutes go by and we went up to the window wondering where our food is at... mind you we were being patient cause we are used to this place taking a while but 20 minutes for apps was ridiculius... well she immediately gave us attitude saying the order didn't go through and it isn't her fault. I proceeded to tell her, you came out and took our order and told us it would be ready in 5-10 minutes, so you should be able to remember you have customers waiting on their food especially when it was pretty slow and not a lot of customers there... she kept arguing either me and giving me attitude saying it isn't her fault and she can't give us a refund because there is no manager there... you can't run a business without a person in charge at all times!!! So she tells me she put our receipt on the desk and I will get my refund back to my credit card when the manager comes in but she has no idea when he will be there. I call this afternoon cause I haven't received a refund on my card. And the "manager" Vanessa was very rude and unprofessional... I told her what happened last night and that I never got my refund and mentioned that they can't be running a shift with no manager and her response was "did you just call to tell me what's illegal and what's not illegal or what do you want?!" I was honestly very shocked that this was the response of an unhappy customer who wants their refund and to inform you of the horrible service I had last night... she proceeded to give me massive amounts of attitude so I asked for the owners phone number and she said she can't give me a refund if I want to talk to the owner cause I'm going to take it up with him. I was like what....?! You're not going to give me my money back for the food I never received because I want to speak to the owner?! And she said I can look at a me u and get his ohone number I told her I don't have a menu and she gave me more attitude and I asked her to just give me the owners phone number please and she hung up on me!!!! I tried calling back immediately and they ignored my phone call... by far the WORST customer service I have ever had!!! I can not believe how embarrassingly unprofessional everybody I had to talk to was and how rude and inconsiderate they were.... needless to say we will not be coming back... very disappointing!!!

Tried leaving a review the other day and it apparently didn't load so I'm trying again. They offer hot fudge for a shake and will charge you for it but don't actually have hot fudge. When asked about it no compensation was offered. I ordered zucchini, but they were out so rather than ask me what I want they just gave me mozzarella sticks. On my second visit here I didn't receive my food until almost 40 minutes after it was stated to be ready. While waiting for that food i watched multiple parties walk out because nobody was at the counter to greet them or take their order. I also watches three separate parties have multiple issues with their order. I really wanted to like this place, but after trying it four times now the quality of food and service seems to be getting worse each visit.

I was staying at the Marriott across the street and they recommended all kinds of restaurants to enjoy in Clovis and Fresno. I would even get hotel rewards for my next stay by eating at these restaurants. Instead, I decided to walk here since it was close by… The burger was decent but definitely not coming back. If they were on the list of recommended restaurants at Marriott, I will come back again.

Don't waste your money. I waited well over 35 mins and all for a raw triple #3 burger. Luckily I saw it in time before my son ate it. I called the store and of course no manager available and wanted me to drive all the way back to deliver them the raw patties. Please take your business anywhere, but the Bob's disgusting burger! They will never be as good as Fat Jack!

Sat here for 30 minutes waiting for service. Employees and I made eye contact several times I even waved at them. No one came to help me, flies everywhere bathroom was disgusting. Fat Jacks was much better run sad to see what this place has come to.

Ordered take out. They were out of turkey and didn't tell us just decided to not put the sandwich in there and hoped we wouldn't notice. So when we went back in and they told us they were out of turkey, we asked for a wrap but they're out of chicken. Wanted a refund but they said they do not do refunds. Told them to just give us a burger but the burger was cheaper than the sandwich we already paid for so we asked for the difference back and they wouldn't do it. I do not recommend this place because of their customer service. How do you not do refunds on something someone pays for but you don't have available? I do really like their turkey sandwich but their burger was gross and the curly fries were also bad. Soggy and you could taste the frozen flavor in them. Won't be going back.

As you can see my receipt showed cheese double cheeseburger, I got some nasty veggie burger, never go again and nobody was there. No bueno

Burger was over cooked and had little to no sauce also the lady at the register was very rude and seemed like she hates her job I think her name was Joel. She had an attitude and acted like taking our order was a chore. They had no napkins in the bathroom to dry your hands and only the hot water worked. They never come to check on you while you’re eating to see if you need anything. The customer service here is non existent and that’s the main reason it’s losing customers. The owner needs to get rid of these employees that have no skills in customer service and maybe they’ll have more customers returning. The prices are also off and I almost feel like they’re charging extra and pocketing the extra money but there’s definitely extra money going somewhere that’s not listen on the menu.

FALSE ADVERTISING AND OVERPRICED!! The menu says $10.99 double bacon cheeseburger combo, but now paper signs saying price went up $1 on everything. I ordered the combo which would be $11.99. They tell me there is no cheese on any of their burgers. (So why have the menu up with cheese?) They say it's an old menu and needs updating. Cheese is now $1 extra making the combo $12.99. The girl taking my order tried charging me $13.99 and with tax was over $15. She then tries to convince me the combo is $12.99 w/out cheese and the $1 makes it $13.99. The guy cooking then says, "Just give her a discount." But what about all the other customers you're wrongly overcharging after me? Their system was ringing $12.99 and the third man said they can't change the system or do anything about it. Another customer behind me had to tell him even in Spanish they're overcharging wrongly. Instead of arguing with 3 people clearly wrong, I took my business elsewhere. I don't know what's happened to this place, in the last month, but service and food had dwindled and prices are way more than the good ol' fashion burger joint I remember. A classic combo with cheese is now $10 instead of $7.50 just a month ago. No thanks. Take your money to another local burger place 'cause this ain't it anymore.

The food was good, but I saw some flies around on the condiment ketchup spout, so apparently, the employees don't bother wiping down the condiments. They need to do a remodel in the dining area because it still has the prior Fat Jack's feel and their service was waaayyy better than Bob's. I also went to the restroom and the toilet was very filthy and again Sanitation is NOT a priority to the employees. I even took a nice photo of what I saw when I lifted the toilet seat. Please see photo as I have attached it. My family and I will not go here again.

Om giving Bob's good burger a 1 because they use to have a grilled chicken sandwich. This past Saturday I ordered it. Sunday I tried to order it again and it was out of stock. So today I go order one on the doordash app and they have replaced it with a breaded and fried chicken sandwich which leaves no healthier option to eat there. It seems like when there is a popular item the store would inform its loyal customers that a change is coming. For me this was a big change and I was trying to support a local business but cheaper product isn't better. The new chicken sandwich lacked flavor/blend and the çoatinh_crust was soggy. I AM DONE. At least inform us..

I ordered 2 grilled chicken salads that were supposed to have cucumber, onion and tomato with actual lettuce but we got a salad made out of warm shredded lettuce for burgers covered on top with tons of pickles with no onion and a few tomatoes. I can't believe they sent this out for customers to try and eat. This is my first and last time I will try this food. I am disappointed.

While the service was ok, I was thoroughly disgusted when I noticed the female cashier who took our order handling the toppings—such as shredded cheese—on our chili cheese fries without wearing gloves. I saw another reviewer mentioning a similar concern, to which the restaurant responded by claiming they don’t have any female employees. However, this incident happened to me months ago, raising serious concerns about their hygiene practices and the accuracy of their response. We should have spoken up in the moment but didn’t, I don’t like confrontation. We simply threw our food away and walked out. Didn’t plan on returning then and certainly won’t be returning especially since they are lying.

The food is always good at this place, but the workers who handle takeout orders always have a bad attitude or are in a bad mood; a horrible way to greet customers.
