The wait staff greeted us and sat us at a table. They even got an umbrella to block the sun for my wife as itnwas in her eyes. We order our food and the drinks came out quick. They served bread then we got our appetizer. Buffalo cheese and mest tray. We got wine and an aperol spritzer. Then the pizza came out and was amazing! We finally had a small glass if lemocello which was also amazing. If we visit Lake Como again we will be going back to try more food!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful evening. And the food… simply delicious! Every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The food was amazing and the service was equally impressive: the staff were very friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. One small gesture really stood out: when my bag slipped from the back of my chair, a waiter immediately noticed, found an extra chair, and brought it over so I could place my bag on it. Such thoughtful attention to detail was very appreciated. On top of all this, the prices are fantastic for Como, making the whole experience feel like an incredible value. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back!

We had the seafood spaghetti, calamari, mixed fried seafood platter, potatoes with sauce, and lemon dessert. Everything was excellent! Even better was the great quality of service. It’s a lovely place where you can enjoy your meal on the terrace by the sea. The complimentary limoncello and meloncello were also fantastic. Special thanks to Ms. Gizem for her kind attention. Still the best - hidden gem since the food is amazing and a lot of people are not going that far to get to this location. Visiting every year and coming always back with pleasure. Tiramisu is house made and very delicious, as well the pasta in the pictures.

We had a wonderful experience at Ristorante e Pizzeria Fontana D'Oro for the second time! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The owners are incredibly warm and attentive – you can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to Como!

We stayed in Como for three days and discovered this restaurant on our last day — what a great find! The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. One thing we noticed in Italy is that many restaurants mainly serve pizzas, pasta, and sandwiches during the day, with their full kitchens only opening after 7 pm. However, this place was an exception! They offered proper, freshly prepared dishes throughout the day, which was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed fantastic fish and risotto dishes without having to wait until evening. We truly enjoyed our experience here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Como!

Very nice restaurant with a great view of lake Como. Service very good with a great menu selection and fair prices. Attentive service by the staff as well. Order a pasta with smoked salmon, then a swordfish with olives, capers, anchovies and tomato’s, and a seafood pasta. All fantastic tasting with the appropriate flavors for the particular dish.

I recently dined at Ristorante e Pizzeria Fontana D'Oro and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. A nice place to rest and relax, eat & enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Como! Not only are the staff fast to (1) cater to our request of seating arrangement & (2) take order & ensure food are served promptly, they are friendly & also made effort to check if we are ok with the food served. Buon pranzo, gentilezza e norme rispettate. Abbiamo mangiato qui oggi io e mia figlia. Punto assolutamente favorevole per me, non da poco, non ti "importunano" invitandoti ad entrare... Se ho fame e noto che sei un ristorante ci penso da sola 🤔. Ci hanno provato la febbre, distanze tra i tavoli rispettate, personale con mascherina... Pertanto tutto bene. Lasagne ottime, ben condite e super abbondanti, tagliatelle della casa con pesce, panna e sugo, piatto abbondantissimo e per niente pesante. Buono anche il carpaccio di piovra. Lo consiglio 👍

Siamo stati a Pranzo Domenica 12 Novembre. Fortunatamente la giornata ci ha permesso di poter pranzare all'aperto, e degustare gli ottimi pianti della Fontsna D'oro che consiglio a tutti.

Questo ristorante ha tutto ciò che un cliente vuole. Cibo buono, ottimo per qualità e prezzo. Lo staff molto gentile e attento a ogni tipo di richiesta . E per finire in bellezza un panorama stupendo.

Locale molto bello, sul lago con una stupenda terrazza. Il personale cortese e gentile. Peccato per il cibo, porzioni piccole e abbastanza caro!

We had lunch for 4, was reasonably priced, sat outside & had great service. The food was delicious & the waiter was very attentive. Sitting outside on the street close to the water was very relaxing. We did get a few people asking us for change, which was annoying but it’s normal for us since we live in Vancouver Canada, we have a homeless population of nearly 50,000. Sad. Overall I would recommend this place. We had a pasta dish, risotto, fish dish & salad.

La vista era meravigliosa, ma il cibo non così tanto. La carbonara non è fatta in modo coretto, cioè hanno usato la panna. Ci hanno messo il parmigiano nel primo piatto, cioè nelle vongole. Questi errori non si dovrebbero fare nel ristorante italiano. I camerieri erano molto educati, ma purtroppo uno di loro non parla inglese ed aveva difficoltà a rispondere. I prezzi sono molto alti se consideriamo la qualità del cibo..ma i dolci erano buonissimi.

Ho preso una pizza ma non mi è piaciuta e l ho lasciata a metà. Per me è l'impasto che non era buono,nel senso che lasciava in bocca un sapore che mi ha stancato subito. Ne ho mangiate di migliori assolutamente. Detto ciò tutti i camerieri cordiali pronti e servizio veloce e bella vista sul lago!

Siamo andati a pranzo con degli amici in questo ristorante dopo una bella camminata sul lago di Como. Giunti al ristorante abbiamo atteso per il tavolo ( comprensibile ), ma dopo averci fatto accomodare abbiamo atteso un'infinità di tempo lasciandoci poltrire solo con il menù senza averci apparecchiato la tavola o farci ordinare da bere ( fortunatamente la vista su lago ha reso la lunga attesa meno pesante). Una volta ordinato da bere, abbiamo atteso altro tempo prima che arrivasse la tanto attesa bottiglia di acqua, che nel frattempo era arrivata per errore, al tavolo accanto al nostro e così anche per tutte le pietanze che abbiamo ordinato. Servizio di sala molto ma molto scadente e poco curato l'accoglienza del cliente, nel curarlo delle esigenze, nell'apparecchiare la tavola, nella gestione delle portate al tavolo. La location è molto bella perché il lago fa da protagonista. Le pietanze lasciano il tempo che trovano, specialmente la grigliata di pesce che è risultata dal gusto sgradevole e con retrogusto di ammonica specialmente i calamari di bassissima qualità. Il sugo del primo scialbo e senza gusto decisivo. Il totale di 2 petti pollo alla griglia, 1 primo di pesce,1 grigliata mista di pesce, 2 contorni,1 acqua 98€ NON AGEDUTATO QUALITÀ PREZZO.

In the middle of the dinner, water started to spray all over the food and guests. Not very pleasant when you are eating. Food a 3 of 5. Servants need to learn how to waiter. Service charge added to bill.

Che ladri. Sono vostro cliente da più di 10 anni con mio padre Antonio venivamo sempre. Ora che lui non c'è più, sono tornato insieme a mia mamma a prendere due pizze e una birra da asporto. Come è pensabile che si spende per una birra la bellezza di 7,50 €? Vogliamo parlare delle pizze? "Pizza con verdure", ho pagato ben 13,50€. "Pizza Valdostana", ho pagato la bellezza di 12,50. Ma ragazzi, questi prezzi non ci stanno ne anche in centro a Roma. Comunque non ci tornerò mai più.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante a Como, attratti dalla splendida vista e dall’ambiente curato — e su questo nulla da dire: il posto è davvero bello, il servizio cortese e puntuale. Peccato che tutto vada in rovina appena si assaggia il cibo. La carbonara era un abominio: affogata nella panna, completamente snaturata. Le lasagne? Condite con mozzarella al posto della besciamella. Un insulto alla cucina italiana, un vero sacrilegio servito in piatto elegante. Ma la cosa peggiore? Mi è venuto il volto a Fomaco. Letteralmente. Una reazione al sugo o forse al trauma culinario non lo so, ma da allora guardo i fornelli con diffidenza. Un posto che avrebbe potuto essere una perla… se solo si fosse ricordato come si cucina.
