Spaghetti Store

Siamo stati attirati dal nome del locale: spaghetti store. Quindi ci aspettavamo degli spaghetti pazzeschi! E invece erano terribili: i miei al pomodoro erano in un brodo di pomodoro piú che in una passata ed erano pochissimi (12€ un po' troppo!) e nessuno mi ha portato il formaggio, quelli del mio ragazzo, gli spaghetti caruso, avevano una salsiccia dal sapore strano. Le bruschette mangiabili, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare e sono venuti a prendere la comanda dopo 30 minuti! Inconcepibile! Nello spazio esterno si sta strettissimi, è impossibile muoversi e i cuscini delle sedie sono abbastanza sporchi. Infine, il coperto a 7€ in due senza manco del pane servito neanche in centro a Milano! E' una trappola per turisti, fuggite!!!!

Fraudulent Tourist Trap My wife and I chose The Spaghetti Store in Como to celebrate her birthday, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by multiple issues that significantly detracted from our evening. The service was disorganized, unprofessional, and marked by rude and aggressive behavior from the waiters. We were attended by multiple waiters, leading to poor communication. For instance, we ordered a large spaghetti portion to share and requested it be split. Despite our request, it arrived on a single plate. When we asked for it to be divided, a waiter responded rudely, stating we should have specified this when ordering. Instead of providing a proper plate, we were given a small side plate, and later a large pizza plate, which was impractical for eating spaghetti. The food quality was equally disappointing. My wife’s bruschetta was made with stale bread, and the overall meal was subpar. Additionally, we experienced missing plates and cutlery, further disrupting our dining experience. The billing process was frustrating. After waiting 45 minutes for the bill despite multiple requests, we noticed a hefty €6 per person cover charge. When we declined to add a tip, citing the cover charge, a waiter confronted us aggressively, saying, "What about my tip!" and insisted the cover charge didn’t include their gratuity, adding that as tourists, we didn’t understand "local ways." Most concerning, after paying by card, we later discovered an unauthorized €20 tip had been added to our bill without our consent or a receipt provided. We felt uncomfortable throughout our stay and left feeling we had been taken advantage of. We strongly recommend avoiding The Spaghetti Store at all costs. I really wish I had read the reviews before deciding to eat here.. The 2.1 rating I believe says it all. STAY AWAY!

I would leave this place zero stars if I could. Complete tourist trap, the staff draw you in but once you’re seated and ordered they’re rude and inattentive. The food was terrible, stale bread for the table, mains were worse than ready-meals. Ridiculously overpriced as well as an extortionate cover charge that isn’t disclosed. Staff seem like the would become aggressive if you were to make any sort of complaint. I would avoid this place like the plague

The carbonara was made with cream not egg which is outrageous in the heart of italy. Pasta was overcooked and a bit cold (probably not homemade pasta). Prices are way to high. The bathroom was dirty and the seat was broken. Typical turist trap place. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Started off well, nice welcome and starter was decent. Then came mains... 32€ for a lobster spaghetti main, opened the claw (no utensils, cleaning bowl or wipes given for handling seafood) to find the meat black, shrivelled up and rotten. Put us off the whole meal. Flagged to the waiter who did not apologize and instead followed up with 'where are you from?'... Weird reply if you ask me. Bill was dropped with the dish still on there, when we asked for it to be taken off were told point blank no, and a million excuses for why our food had looked that way. Argued enough to get the manager to remove it thankfully but the whole experience was awful. Staff need training, chefs need training, management need training. Nice spot, terrible everything else.

I think the place is newly opened, they try to catch tourist to have them seated. And then it was hard to have an eye contact to give our orders to the left and right rushing waiters. Then we get up to find another place to eat, and one of the waiters kind of talked nonsense like:”how long you waited, 5 minutes?” The prices are at the high end and the service is not matching with their prices.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I don’t know which is worse the food or the service. The food not only is very bad but also pricey. We ordered a club sandwich which tasted like bread and mayo, a grilled salmon which is the size of a fish finger. The service is slow and the staff is RUDE.

Fuyez !!!! Prix exorbitant, 6€ par couvert, un ice tea a 8€, les frites non compris avec la viande facturées 10€ !! Une pauvre assiette de spaghetti à 24€ alors qu'on a encore faim. On a attendu 2h pour une facture de 150€ pour 2 personnes avec un bébé. Un conseil, n'y aller surtout pas

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli et amené à notre table, puis le chaleureux a disparu mais laissé place à la nonchalance des serveurs. Lors de la prise de commande, le serveur n’était pas attentif à notre commande, ce qui s’est ressenti dans nos assiettes (erreur de prise de commande) et lorsque nous avons signalisé l’erreur, le serveur n’a pas voulu reconnaître son erreur. Nous avons demandé du parmesan qui n’est jamais arrivé, nous l’attendons encore !!!!! Et le tout pour une addition plutôt salée et les copperto sont à 6€ pour information.

Iemand lokt mensen naar het terras maar vervolgens moet je heel lang wachten voor er iemand een bestelling komt op nemen. Na een 20 minuten zijn we verder gegaan. Het eten is ook pokkeduur. 5 minuten verder stappen en je eet voor de helft van de prijs

Attrape touriste ! Les plats étaient préparez avec des ingrédients surgelés . Aucune saveur . Service de mauvaise qualité , aucun contant . Désagréable
