Last night was a blast, man. The tunes were sick, the booze was flowing, and the local vendors and food trucks were on point. It was a total rip-off to get slapped with a service fee for buying tickets online - it was practically like buying another ticket - so we just paid at the gate. And hey, let's be responsible and not drink and drive, but unfortunately, there weren't any cabs or Ubers around. Gotta plan ahead out here.

Saw The Spazmatics. Got there early to get a spot for lawn chairs. There is plenty of room for chairs. Wouldn't buy the table for $200 (they are regular picnic tables). Fun place overall!

House pasture is a great place to hear super talented artists in a family friendly and fun atmosphere! I've been going for the past four years and have always had a good time!

We went for steak night - everyone enjoyed what they got from ribeyes to chicken fried steak, they have large plates and great food with friendly, attentive and quick service! We also had someone in our group accidentally leave their phone at the restaurant and when we called, 4 hours later, our waitress had held on to it for us and we picked it up! That says a lot about their character!

Food is pricey for its quality. The girls dress like they came straight from the river. The concert venue makes it hard to see from any angle best for small act not big star.

I was there for a concert. I didn’t have any food. I have heard a lot about house pasture, but I’ve never been. It was my first time going and I loved it. I can’t wait to go back.

Despite some negative reviews, we thought the ribeye and chicken fried steaks were very good. The atmosphere and entertainment were very pleasing as well. Gary P Nunn was awsome and played solid without taking a break. Going back tonight to see the Spazmatics. This is also the same place to come for an awesome helicopter ride by Holt Helicopters.

Good food, great staff, massive dancefloor, cold beer, tons of parking, excellent bands, helicopter tours, gorgeous scenery and a cool vibe overall! The topography and trees make you think you're in the Northeast part of the U.S. Don't miss it!!

Catered dinner there. Very good chicken fried steak!!!👍. Service was great. 4 stars only because bathrooms are a little dated and the bathroom upkeep is lacking, some.

Neat place, good service. Didn't try the food out but the live music and the venue are cool. The only complaint is they shut down the live music at 9:00ish, so you've got to get there early.

There was a slight breeze at times. It was a large area for a small concert. Limited seating but you can bring your own for the lawn area. There were a couple bars serving. Long lines but they moved quickly. There was a nice dance floor as well.

I have been going there for the past 10 years at least with my family on the vacation and all the years we would look forward to having a nice steak dinner and great times. This year the menu consisted of a very limited small buffet (meat,2 veggies and salad that we had to ask for dressing) for $20 or a choice of a brief bar menu that was mostly appetizers. The menu was slim and did not offer the food that we brag about and look forward to eating every year we come on vacation. To say the least we were disappointed!!!

It may be a great place to eat, but as a music venue it leaves a lot to be desired. Too many people there to drink and socialize to even hear the arist. A pricey and disappointing outing.

Bacon Mac and cheese tasted like freezer meal and the burger reminded me of a school lunchroom burger - not tasty. Onion rings and green beans were the best items on the menu.

This is the absolute worse place you could ever eat. A whole fake eyelash was in my food. My kids cups were extremely dirty. We didn’t get silverware for 20 min our food was cold. Waitress are very rude! This place is too expensive to be treated so poorly by the employees.

We've been coming to the Frio River every year for 10 years. We discovered this place about 6 years ago and have turned on other people in our RV park to what USED to be a good restaurant. After our experience last night, we will NEVER go back. First of all we were disappointed in the new, very condensed menu. Every year that Ive been coming here, I've had a steak because it is after all a steak house. The new menu only offers a chicken fried steak or a 14 oz Ribeye for $35. Everything else is $15 or less (except the Buffett special for $20). They used to have a wine menu and sold wine by the glass or the bottle. I was willing to order the bottle but they didn't have a Merlot. The tea tasted old so I had water. I have several food limitations due to allergies, gluten & mushrooms being my biggest. Everything except the steak and the chicken breast was either a sandwich or bathered and fried. I ordered the chicken breast which came with mushrooms & Swiss cheese, so I of course ordered mine without the mushrooms and told the waitress that I was allergic to the mushrooms. My nephew also ordered the chicken 'as is'. My husband ordered the Buffett & my son ordered the burger, oh and I added a side salad for $3 extra. I ate most of my small chicken breast (which tasted good) but 3/4 of the way through it, I knew that I had encountered a mushroom. I immediately became ill and had to excuse myself to the bathroom. When my husband informed the waitress of what happened, she sent the owner out. My husband felt that we shouldn't have to pay for the chicken dinner because they screwed it up. The owner got an attitude and accused my husband of trying to get a 'free chicken dinner' because 'there's no way that their kitchen could cross contaminate the food'. Meanwhile I'm now outside throwing up. Her husband said just to take the chicken off the bill and be done with it. My husband was pissed off and paid the whole $82 bill. Poor waitress though didn't get a tip. He said that they could give her the $14 that he paid for the chicken. She was a good waitress but don't know if it was her screw up or the kitchens screw up.

Their online menu looks 5 star but when you get here it’s taqueria Jalisco stars. Also, my car was stripped of its body frame and they even took my vinyl chairs. M glad they left the doors but…

I don’t normally leave reviews but this place was by far the worst place I have ever been to. We waited for our food for 50 minutes and was not satisfied by the food that was brought out. If I could leave no stars I would! The service was even terrible! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
