The meat and small plates selection is pretty good. The food just kept coming! The only complaint we have is it was SO COLD inside !! I thought it wouldn't be a problem since there were grills going throughout the restaurant, but it didn't even make a difference. As soon as we pulled our meat off the grill, the food got cold so fast and the oil started hardening. It was quite unappetizing. All our food was cold so we stopped eating. there was 2 patio heaters inside the restaurant too. We were eating with our coats on. Sounds like heating/cooling is an issue here.

First time trying Korean cuisine.. It was a lot of food for a fair price of $26 per person. keep ordering till you are full and no u can't take leftovers home and you pay $40 per table for leftovers. So order right and what you can eat. A lot of meat and seafood. Minimum of 2 persons allowed.

While the lunch deal seems affordable, the brisket was chewy and tasteless. The meat I got for AYCE was much better, but I like the variety of Gen better

The selection of meats were good, but the quality varied. The prices were also fairly high for the amount that we got. Staff were nice and helpful if you had any questions. The restaurant tends to very busy so it is always a good idea to call beforehand for the wait time. Overall it was a good place to try with a group of friends, but there are definitely better options nearby.

This was my first time at a Korean BBQ. The place was very busy and quite noisy. Being hard of hearing, it made it difficult for me to understand the people at my table, so it was hard for me to grasp the concept at first. Now that I understand how everything works, I would probably order differently and have a better experience next time. Seemed like most people in the restaurant were enjoying themselves. I would give the place another shot.

This was our second time visiting Ohgane BBQ. To say this place was disappointing is an understatement. The popcorn chicken was soft. Like they took frozen popcorn chicken from Costco and microwaved it. Totally disgusting. We also ordered the spicy french fries and while the sauce was good, the fries were limp and pathetic. For meats I will give them credit that the beef bulgogi was 9/10 but I don't know a single that can make bulgogi taste bad. The other meats were grisly, chewy, and fatty. It felt like they were serving the cheapest meats they could find to us. My wife loves Korean BBQ and eats more than I do and even she couldn't finish the meats we ordered. The restaurant was also quite dirty. When they put fresh grills on, they would bubble with leftover meat from previous cooks. I'm not sure if this is normal, but I've never noticed it at other Korean BBQ places. I'll edit my review after we go to another Korean BBQ next week to see if this is normal. But it looked gross and dirty. We were delivered the dishes other tables ordered multiple times. In total we received 5 dishes that we didn't order and the server was gone before we noticed. We were eating during a shift change so that may have contributed to it, but I need to document it since it hasn't happened to us at other places. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's more expensive than other, better Korean BBQ places.

Typical Korean BBQ! nothing special here. The service was not that great - pretty rude and lack of patience by the staff. People need to take a few minutes to look at the menu and not rush to order something they might regret later! Ordered Korean Tofu soup and it took them until we finished our food! Would I go there again? Probably not!

Staffs are nice when we visited but the food isn’t good. All beefs are chewy, spicy chicken wings are not good too. Spicy rice cake is okay. I won’t go back honestly.

My recent visit was quite disappointing. The food quality was a major issue. The side dishes and rice were served cold, tasting as though they had been sitting out for a while. The main courses were also not good; the steak was tough and chewy, and the chicken had an off flavor. While the pancakes were decent, a to-go order I placed was unfortunately undercooked. ​Beyond the food, the restaurant's cleanliness was a concern. Our table was dirty with a sticky handle, and the floors were noticeably slippery. It was also very loud and, for the quality of the food and service, overpriced. I was disappointed with the entire experience and regret leaving a tip.

I normally do not write negative reviews, but the service we received yesterday night was outright unacceptable and disrespectful. My boyfriend and I used to come here frequently before moving away, so we were shocked by how poorly this visit went. From the moment we arrived, the service was careless and unprofessional. We were lazily pointed toward a table instead of being seated properly, and no one explained the new iPad ordering system or checked whether we were familiar with it. Our grill was not turned on, and we were never brought water—at any point during the entire meal. The meats arrived (the grill was still off) and we had to flag down another server, who was the only attentive and courteous person we interacted with, just to get basic assistance. When the original server (an asian guy) later came over, he adjusted the grill incorrectly and turned it off. When asked to fix it, he was visibly irritated. While replacing the grill, he dropped it loudly and carelessly, causing food (raw meat) from the old grill to spill onto our side dishes and table. On top of that, the tablet at our table was not properly connected to its charger and died about 20 minutes into our meal, further showing a lack of attention and care. We were quiet, respectful, and not disruptive at any point. Despite this, we were made to feel unwelcome. The final straw was when the server came to our table while we were clearly still eating—with food on our plates and on the grill—and said, “I’ll bring you guys your check,” even though we never asked for it. This was extremely rude and made us feel rushed and pushed out. The entire experience felt dismissive, careless, and unprofessional. We wanted to leave early but didn’t because we had already placed our order through the tablet. This visit completely ruined what used to be a place we enjoyed, I'm not sure if we're ever coming back. Their menus got smaller as well and the price were more expensive than it was which I get since everything is expensive these days.

I'm a former restaurant GM, and my experience here was very disappointing. While the place wasn’t particularly clean — with greasy tables and menus — what really stood out was how early they started closing. Around 9 PM, staff were already sweeping, mopping, and spraying strong-smelling chemicals, even though the restaurant is open until 10. It felt like they were trying to push guests out well before closing time, creating an uncomfortable and rushed atmosphere. On top of that, the servers were unfriendly and seemed uninterested or untrained in basic hospitality. Definitely not the kind of service or environment I’d recomend.

We ate here on 8/30/25 and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The grill at our table was filthy, and when I asked for a clean one, the waiter became hostile instead of helping. The restaurant was extremely hot, dirty, and uncomfortable. If you eat here, you’re taking your health and safety into your own hands. Consider yourself warned — we will never step foot in this place again.
