I want to thank Red Robin General Manager Justyn Stradford for accommodating our large group for a “Celebration of Life” luncheon. Mr. Stanford made sure our group sat together and we had everything we needed. Our server, named “Angel” work hard to make sure our food and drink was served quickly. We all appreciated her hard work to serve us.
Wonderful service at the Concord RR. They went above and beyond to help my son & I. Even refilled my soda when I asked to take mine to go. Everything is so expensive these days. It was so nice to enjoy a good meal & kind people. D
I had the opportunity to be able to share a birthday with loved ones here. The food was Hot and fresh and placed on the table quite quickly. Wonderful atmosphere and the staff had that birthday theme song that they sung to the family I had a wonderful experience
This Red Robbin is one of the best I’ve been to in years. There was no wait time. This restaurant was clean and inviting. Our server Bria was personable and also attentive to all of our requests. Her and the manager checked in on us from time to time. We ordered the Red Robin Gourmet Cheese Burger with onion rings and an order of Smoke and Pepper Burger with a side house salad. The food was served pippin heat hot with lots of flavor. The burgers were oh so juicy. For desert we ordered the Lemon Cake, oh my goodness it was amazingly delicious. Hats off to the cooks including the entire staff.
I had some time to kill in Concord so I decided to stop for lunch. Unfortunately there isn't a Red Robin near me anymore so this was a great lunch stop. I was greeted by Alvaro Arambula got seated right away. Very friendly and kind made my visit feel comfortable. My waitress was Giselle, bartender and waitress for the area. She was phenomenal! Checked on me frequently brought everything in a timely manner. When I made my order she went above and beyond to ask for a specifics. As I waited Alvaro checked in with me too multiple times. Had a short conversation as well very friendly. Once the food came the service is great. Food was all cooked to order and everything was nice and warm. Alvaro came by again to check on me, and I wanted to comment to him how great I appreciate the teamwork effort by everybody that's working here. Nobody worked as "that's not my job" kind of atmosphere. He said he has a great team, and explain his appreciation for the way his team works together. Anybody that's looking for a quick bite to eat or sit down for a meal I would highly recommend Red Robin in Concord.
Red Robin in Folsom is now closed. We stopped in on our way to the Notre Dame vs. Stanford football game. There were five of us in our party. We were greeted and seated within five minutes. Restaurant was clean, organized and busy. We ordered their "yummy burger special " ( I think that is the name of it, I could be wrong) For $9,99 you get a double burger, all you can eat fries, and a drink. As an appetizer, we had the mozzarella sticks. Food served hot and was very tasty. Staff was very friendly.
This place has lots of personality. The food is good, and staff worked exceptionally hard, but there was obviously a major miscommunication between the person who booked our group and onsite management. We were a large group ~40 and it seemed like only one person was helping us. I imagine a regular group of 2-6 would be no problem.
They need more workers in there. Our server was nice but she had a lot going on, so not the best service. But it’s not her fault. Also, ordered the Jalapeño Heatwave burger, they smear the tiniest bit of avocado on the top bun, just not as pictured what so ever. Good fries though. Edit: I actually don’t think they even added avacado, just the green sauce on the top bun. It’s Okay, I will give them grace. Thank you.
sept. 5, 2025. been a long time seeing a red robins. place seems its hanging in there in the bar and restaurant biz. i remember getting a massive aloha burger for the hell of it on pineapple in a burger. now i dont think i see it in the menu. any i got the classic bacon cheeseburger and fries. its good as i remember it and it was fine. nothing bad nor great. just good all around. place is empty but its still got some love for some customers. overall, its good
Been coming here for years and the Fish and Chips has been my favorite and go to. My last experience a few days ago was so so. My server Luigi was great but my issue was with the kitchen. I’ve had this happen before to where I’m being served fries that’s NOT FRESH. I’m not sure why the kitchen will refry the fries which makes them dark and gross tasting. Fish was ok but the fries did not cut it.
I always walked pass the is establishment whenever I went to the mall. I finally decided to go when the place wasn't as busy. When I got to the front desk, there was nobody there! Once we got seated, it took quite a bit for a server to take our order. From time of order to food on table, it took quite a bit of time as well. I ordered the "Big" Smokey Jack and It wasn't as big as I thought it would be. In fact, I was able to finish the burger within a couple of bites. My dad ordered a new item of theirs, something with pork bbq and a beef patty along with the usual burger toppings. Again the size of the burger was quite small, but it definitely tasted good. Overall: Noticeably slow service, small proportions of good food.
I came here this past Monday and ordered a turkey burger . I have never ate beef in my life , THEY GAVE ME A BEEF BURGER . The burger already took 20 minutes plus to be made , then when I sent it back it was another 20 minutes. They barely accommodated me after serving me something that could’ve made me terribly sick, all they did was take $8 off of my meal . The server was good , but the kitchen service was terrible . I wouldn’t come back to this one EVER .
Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Simply Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a side salad. The staff was super friendly and attentive which deserves a five star. The food left so much to be desired. First off. The salad had frozen pieces of fruit which would be nice if I had ordered a frozen salad. The grilled piece of chicken was literally 2/3rds the size of the bun and a bit rubbery when you hit into it. I have to say it was a huge let down from the picture on the menu. If you desire a quality meal at an above average price point, pick somewhere else. If however you just want a quick beer and a basket of fries or chicken strips to chill at the bar then expect that might be the way to go.
First time eating at this location. Generally my expectations for these sort of chains are fairly low but overall I wasn't too happy with what I got. I ordered a double burger with lettuce wrap and onion rings. The onion rings are not bottomless AND they cost $1.50 more. Fine. When my order comes out there are only five onion rings on the plate and the server told me that five is always the amount you get; wow. That's cheap. The server dropped an onion ring (nbd) and replaced it with a single onion ring. The whole thing just seemed overly stingy. Minus one star for that. (Note, I did like the 5 onion rings I ate, crispy!) My wife's mad love burger looked pretty sad and she didn't eat much of it. The fries came out cold (despite being noon on a Sunday ), so you can imagine the bottomless nature wasn't necessary. Minus one star. Finally, overall value for the money was not great. $40 for 2 adults and a toddler and no drinks is a little steep considering you can go to any number of independent burger joints for the same or less with same or better food. Minus one more star. Not the worst food in the world by any means but would not come again considering the availability of other options. Edit: I can't be certain, but not long after lunch my stomach started hurting and I --ahem-- had a strong urge to use the restroom.
This review is for Angelina. Angelina, I won't lie. I complained about my food being warm. My kids Mac and Cheese being cold. Our drinks coming when our food came. I turned to flag you down, but I noticed something. You bussing tables and taking orders. You were running around with you head cut off. You were the only one. There was one person helping you get food out, I forgot her name. But you were doing more than you can chew and handling it like a champ. I respect that. What I dont respect is your manager not helping you at all. Not going around making sure everyone is satisfied. NO! Instead hes up there at the potium holding hands with it and grabbing To-go Orders/DoorDash. Hearing others complain about you not serving them in a timely fashion is not your fault. That's your GM not taking lead like he supposed to do and I hope you don't think that at all. You did the best you could and thats why we were calm about everything and did no say a word. What was truly heartbreaking was when I flagged you down to say something possitive and "Is verything ok? Did I do something wrong?" That shouldn't have come out your mouth or any server. Once I told you how we appreciated you for handling how customers were treating you and taking complaints to the face like champ, you wanted to cry and that would have been ok with us. But you held it in, took a deep breath and thank us for working with you. You did an amazing job and dont forget it.
My partner and I are locals to this red Robin location. We go here 3 to 4 times a month. Today’s service was horrible. Not to mention the last time we went in there, we kept saying, the main server, touching his face, rubbing his eyes and continuing to serve food So needless to say, we left after I brought it to the managers attention. On this particular day we went in around 11:15 AM I ordered a burger with the blue cheese. See how they no longer have the blue ribbon, burger, and mind you this new burger is not as good. They need to bring the old one back. My partner got the burger with the fried jalapeños on it. With our meals, we both got the endless fries, which is one of the main reasons why we go there because no other restaurant serves steak fries like they do. Unfortunately, and most disappointing we never received any type of offer For a refill on fries so needless to say I did not get my full french fry experience that I was so looking forward to due to the poor customer service we received. short staffed seemed as though they were short staffed. What we assumed to be, the Manager was literally running around trying to cover tables as where our original server Was assigned or decided to take a larger group in the back of the restaurant. For the minimum amount of red Robin locations that there are in the bay area. It really does seem like this location is slipping, not only in quality and food, but customer service most importantly. If anyone from the corporate office just so happens to read this review i’m sure the public would agree that you need to rethink your business concept and layout of your few locations that you have left in the Bay Area. With the downfall of TGI FRIDAY’s it seem as Red Robin will be the next to fall!
I wish I could tell you how the food was. But we waited 20 mins for our server that said they would be back and never came. But had time to go to other tables and talk with her boyfriend at the bar. We ended up leaving because it was getting late.
I love Red Robin’s menu, but to say the staff tonight had a horrible attitude would be generous. We sat in the bar for 20 minutes without whomever was the waiter/waitress asking us for our order. When we tried to flag down who we thought was the waitress she nearly scolded us for asking. Apparently they were doing us some big favor by my wife and I showing up in the first place. We walked out.
The restaurant is disgustingly dirty from the restrooms to the nasty high chairs that look like they haven’t been cleaned in years . To the changing table in the restroom that looks like it’s going to break at any moment . I had to use it to change my grandbabys diaper . The floor is greasy and dirty especially by the restrooms it needs a deep clean and the employees are so busy talking they forget to check on their tables and refill drinks etc. We usually go to the Brentwood Red Robin and it’s nice and clean and great service. The owner of the concord Red Robin shoild be fired and closed by the health department the way the sewage smells by the front door and how gross the restrooms are this restaurant needs a deep cleaning and a visit from the health department. Asap
