Best service, delicious bagels, a variety of cream cheese, and came through for me in a pinch this morning. Ordered 100 bagels 6:30 AM and they were ready by 6:55 AM!! Wow! Will definitely order again from Sunrise Bagels but next time with a little lead time. Thanks again!!

I love the bagel sandwiches; there are so many options. They are always fresh and super tasty, and the staff is friendly. The only problem is that I am now addicted to them. 🤤

Definitely our favorite bagel place. We get their Asiago bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and it's always so good. Their bagel dogs are also good- the dough (once heated up) is very soft and it's pretty big compared to what I have got at other places. In the fridge they have sealed fresh squeeze orange juice that taste so fresh. I do wish customers respected the door signage letting customers know how many people are allowed inside at a time. Indoor dinning is not available for this location (June 2021)

Very good bagel sandwiches with sausage and cheese. My favorite bagels for the sandwiches are jalapeño cheese and spinach asiago. The bagel dog is also very good especially heated up.

Waiting on my car, I was reminded at the auto body shop that there was a Starbucks and a bagel place nearby. Haven't been to Sunrise Bagels in years, so I walked in, hungry for breakfast. My sandwich SLAPPED (i.e. was very delicious)! I got a bagel with asiago cheese, sausage, and American cheese. The bagel was toasted perfectly, the goodies were hot and delicious. I also got an Iced Vietnamese coffee which, surprisingly, I haven't had before. That was also a treat to have. The ladies working here were nice and full of smiles. Gotta show this long time neighborhood establishment more love, personally!

Best bagels in the East Bay. Fresh every day. Also fantastic bagel dogs! Like life changing bagel dogs. My wife doesn't eat meat but she will happily peel the hot dog bread and munch it. Also their croissants are good too, not crunchy, but very buttery. Different then most but good. And all their other sandwiches and pizza bagels are good as well. Fantastic spot I'm sad I don't live by them anymore.

Great bagels and their Sunrise Club Special Sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches of all time ( just ask for it without the sprouts lol). Small family-owned shop, and they are really good people. The bagels are made fresh everyday, so getting there early is probably my favorite thing to do hoping to get a bagel fresh out the oven!

I'm a native New Yorker, so good bagels are important! It has been hard finding suitable bagels outside of NY state, so I was really excited to find Sunshine Bagels. They are a little shop in a strip mall and they do bagels right! The variety is fantastic and fresh, they refilled the baskets with bagels straight from the oven while I was there. The price is reasonable and the service was pretty quick. They also sell breakfast sandwiches (smelled delicious), pastries, cream cheese tubs (in a variety of flavors), lox, and various drinks and lunch items. The bagels taste amazing and have just the right amount of chewiness. It's a great little shop that will most likely become a regular stop for us!

I just had the best bagel dog of all time. Cheese and jalapeños on top. Crispy outside and chewy inside bagel part and the best hotdog ever inside. Absolute fire. If you like bagel dogs you have to hit this place. And a big selection of bagels and cream cheese. 5 star.

Food was fresh and hot. You can tell the begals were made fresh. We had a good breakfast before climbing Mt Diablo which I think set us up for success for the hike.

Delicious avocado veggie sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel. Bagel was so soft and tasted great, you could tell it was fresh. The veggie fillings and the cream cheese were all in good proportion. This was my first time here, it was pretty busy around 9:30 am (which is a good thing) but the line moved at a good pace and orders came out quickly. Will definitely return!

I no longer live in Concord, but when I am back this way I always get a dozen to take home. The additional plus is the staff is always most pleasant with a big smile to perk up your day❣️

The wife and I agree that this is the best bagel spot in the area by a long shot. While we have not had them all, every bagel we've had here has been excellent. We moved to Pittsburg a few years back and still come here anytime we want a bagel. What makes this place so good is the bagel texture: they have the perfect chew (soft, but toothsome) and they are all flavourful. This is a great NY Style bagel. We've tried at least 4 or 5 different bagel spots in the area and this one stands out. Every other bagel spot had bagels that were either too dense or too bready (soft without chew). They have a wide variety of bagel and spread flavors, and their Lox are excellent. For context, our favorite orders: #1 Avocado Veggie with Lox Spread on Spinach Asiago. #2 Eggwhich bacon/sausage on Jalapeno Cheddar #3 Lox on NY Everything with plain or scallion spread #4 Bilay with scallion spread #5 Blueberry/Strawberry with matching spread #6 Cinnamon Crunch with plain spread We also always get an extra side of pickles (They're our favorite, but definitely mass produced, so don't think you're getting something fancy. That said, if you like pickles, we find these to be excellent). They also have a great chocolate croissant and their bagel dog (bagel wrapped hotdog) is solid. Drinks: The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is the best (though, it has a bigger caffeine kick than a typical iced coffee, so be warned: the first time I had it, it was my 2 caffeinated beverage in an hour and I thought my heart was going to explode). Their mixed coffee drinks (mocha, macchiato, lattes, etc) are all really good, but it's also right next to Starbucks if you prefer that. They also do blended red bulls with strawberry or raspberry syrup that are great as well (if thats more your speed). They have a few boba options, but I can't recall ever trying them. I'm sure they're good. The one downside is this place gets busy in the morning (we typically go on weekends between 8-10am), so be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes (that includes the wait in line). We've only ever left once (in 5+ years) while waiting and that was because someone placed a large phone order during the breakfast rush and they got backed up. We also recommend double checking the bag if you order multiple bagels/sides during a busy time. They're always quick to fix the issue and it rarely happens, but we've left without a bagel we ordered and had to go back (not to mention a few missing orders of pickles). We still give the service 5 starts because the staff is excellent, and, as mentioned, are quick to resolve any issues. While there are places to sit and eat, we never eat in because it's a small place and the line typically takes up most of the room. Overall, if you're in the area and want a great bagel, this is the spot you need to go.

This place has literally the best poppyseed bagel I’ve ever seen. Every millimeter tip to bottom is covered in seeds instead of a few sprinkles. Sandwiches are piled high with ingredients, no stingy toppings here. There were like 6 thick-cut pieces of cucumber instead of two thin slices as many places would use. Cream cheese on both sides. The jalapeño cream cheese, also something not everyone has, packs a nice kick!

The breakfast sandwiches and always really good, and the bagels are fresh. It's a bagel shop, so don't be surprised when there's a line early in the morning. They could have a more efficient process for ordering and paying, but the food is good despite the small wait.

Sunrise Bagels Cafe make great bagel. The place is small and there is a line. I usually call my order and that helps expedite my order. They have a great variety of bagels and good size. I am used to New York bagels.

For a quick cheap eat, you're better off going to either a chain who has it figured out or just staying home.

The lack of customer service is unbelievable. Angelina foreign employee spent a lot of time correcting my Spanish as I was placing an order. Last time I placed a big order of bagels for work was around closing time. “A” said to me to pick them up quickly because she was not going to “eat them all”. She’s constantly making rude comments about customers. Last time I was there i was fed up and confronted her about what she said to me on the phone. Jack the business owner was very rude and took her side. I wish this place was run by friendly people with a good knowledge of customer service.
