Awesome freshness, as usual; the Sashimi Platter was off the charts! Served over ice, to keep it fresh while you chill…literally. The restaurant just remodeled with a brighter ambiance all around. Suwen has been my server for over 20 years, and has never missed a beat. Simply phenomenal.

A few months ago(2) I went with a friend and I loved it, they were under repair, the food was super tasty and everything was super good, I ordered food through Uber eat and I didn't like it, everything was full of fat and bad taste. I went again in November 2022. I didn't like it at all, the rice dishes had a lot of oil, and the price increased unbelievably. Before, I liked it because they cooked well and were cheap. Now I prefer to go to the other sushi restaurant that is a block away.

We went for dinner and loved the experience. The sushi was very fresh and beautifully presented. We tried several rolls as well as the sashimi, and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant had a calm and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. 🍣✨The services that Leroy it’s special 100% good services.

Today me and my friend come to sushi maki for the first time , chicken lo mein and a dragon roll was good the service was great Sue Ann was great server she made the bubble tea real good. The food and Sue Ann was 10/10

Beat sushi in miami! I eat all the time and order uber which always comes fresh! The service is amazing and make sure to ask for the server named Suwen she is the best!

I have to say that I've visited various sushi maki locations, and by far this location in the gables is the best. The staff is super friendly and sushi chefs are amazing, super skilled at their craft, Eugene, and Allan are just great, and Leroy is just amazing super sweet and awesome at what he does, and Jerry the same. Please come and enjoy sushi, and their amazing foods, also they also have a Canton menu which is also amazing.

Suwen was great. Been coming to Sushi Maki along time. She is my favorite staff member. Great service. Very friendly and quick. Knows the menu well. Sushi Maki would be nothing without her!

Above average lunch for 4 that was $85 with tip and included 4 orders of bubble tea, 3 poke bowls and an order of dumplings. The dumplings were below average whereas everything else was above. The service was good. Just arrived from the airport and needed a place to eat and this is across the street from our hotel so it was convenient. If in the area worth a try especially if you enjoy poke bowls.

Been many times. Service is their biggest downfall. Went in here the other day. There were 2 guys and neither offered to sit us down. When we sat down and once more got tired of waiting, I asked for a menu. Got the feeling they just didn’t care…

Sushi saki ended up being your typical chain sushi restaurant so please don’t expect boutique or quality style sushi. The fish and the sushi output was sub-par, but at the same time it’s not overly expensive compared to other spots. The service was the biggest issue and it was surprising giving how small this location is you would think they’d be more attentive. All in all, my experience was 2 stars.

I ordered a ASC Dragon Poke Bowl with rice two orders in Uber Eats and I got the order with no rice. I called and they said that the order comes with rice but I said no rice. I have the pictures to show that my order has white rice on it and they said no. It was a really bad customer service and I paid a lot for shipment and avocado only. Did not even try to help. Over 40 box for an appetizer…

Unfortunately, this time Sushi Maki, Coral Gables is is turn. Last week I made a large order, like many times in the past 10 years, because we had an important business lunch in our office. As I usually do, I called first to verify that upon my arrival I would call them and they would come out with my order and take it to my car just in front of their location, and also asked them to call me once my order was ready. Neither of the previous mentioned happened. I has to call after a long waiting period so I had to pick it up as fast as I could, business lunch was already running late, and when I was near I called the restaurant, as agreed previously over the phone, for them to bring out the order to my car. Well, the same lady, which was from my native country (sad to say) told me that she could not do it because it was raining and the restaurant was full, I reminded her what she agreed earlier to do so and she just replied that she would not do it because it started raining and the restaurant was full. She gave me some directions to park behind their location, in which there were at least two persons telling me not to park in there, which I did anyways, went inside the restaurant that was absolutely NO CLIENTS inside, all tables were empty and took my order and left the restaurant promising I would make a review and was not going to be good and only because one lazy employee just didn't feel like working properly that day. Actions--->Consequences. Sad, bad and a lose/lose situation for everyone. They made me look bad in my business lunch and also lost us as clients.
