Fantastic food, astonishing quality, very good service. It would be nice to get rid of the cameras.
We loved the food. The menu offered interesting and delicious interpretations of traditional Spanish dishes. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upmarket finer dining experience without the price tag.
My husband and I went for dinner for my birthday. The meal was a lovely meal and the service was excellent. The restaurant was full and buzzing. I thought it was of a very reasonable price considering the quality of the food.
This spot is FABULOUS! Every part of the experience was curated to perfection. From the welcome glass of white wine when we hit the table, to cleaning up the breadcrumbs halfway through our dinner, all the way to the incredible creme brûlée I have nothing but great things to say about this spot. A bit more of our dining experience can be found below: Sardines - great app, served on toast, fresh, not overly salty Steak Tartar -DID NOT SKIMP OUT ON THE STEAK, again super fresh, not gamey and not overly salty. Best I've had every! Risotto - beautifully plated and filling, really amazing flavours, rich and creamy, but not too much that I didn't want to eat it anymore. Creme brûlée - this was the best creme brûlée I've ever had! it was nothing like I've had before. the filling was cold and more on the liquidy side, still rich and creamy, the crack of the sugar on top was fantastic and even that was topped with POP ROCKs. Amazing textures, really took me on a sweet journey. The service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, very kind not pushy. We sat outside on the patio and it was a lovely vibe - would definitely come back!
This cozy restaurant offers traditional Spanish specialties with a modern twist where fresh seasonal ingredients offer original and tasty gastro experiences. We tried the Cod Brioche, The Salmorejo and a wonderful Leek with Ibérico Ham and Sea Scallops which was magnificent. Make sure you leave space for the amazing Creme Brûlée. The waitstaff were professional and helpful. Highly recommended!
Wonderful evening here during our trip to Cordoba. Extensive choice from menu and many specials, all beautifully cooked and presented. Very good value also. Thoroughly deserves to be in the Michelin guide.
Five of us had dinner here on a Saturday evening - and it was a delightful experience. The service was outstanding (in English and Spanish), starting with suggestions for wines (they work with local vintners so we hadn't tried any of their recommendations). The food was the high point - the patatas bravas were a very pleasant suprise, especially since it's hard to make this dish really stand out. The rice dishes were also a highlight, as was the torrija we had to finish the meal. We ate on the terrace - which was great, but it can get a little noisy in case that's an issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant, it was a highlight of our visit to Córdoba.
We just had a dinner at La Cuchara and it was exceptional! The food is excellent! Everything we ordered was very tasty: Anchovy toast, Garlic shrimp, Glazed lamb shank, Steak tartar and Brioche with mushrooms (not in the menu). The portions are not big, which I would consider as a plus in such a place, so you can try multiple dishes, but also not too small, so we didn’t have space for dessert which I really wanted to try (we are not used to eating a lot per meal). If I ever visit Cordoba, I would certainly have a dinner here. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality. The restaurant is more on a casual side and this is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!
Warm welcome, perfect Organisation of service. Welcome local dry wine for every table. Menu and wines in Spanish and English online. Great wine selection with fair prices. All dishes were excellent. Big portions and nice presented. It was a pity we were only two. For larger groups I recommend to order different starters and first courses to share, which is common here. Tartare and sirloin from old cows were vera aromatic and tasty. Usually we need salt and pepper, but here, everything was perfect spiced and arranged. The bred is a sin with olive oil! We even bought a bottle of red to take with us and they packed rest of the great almond soup, Mazamorra Cordobese, to take home . Thank you! We will come back
This place was great! Very affordable and inviting Michelin star restaurant. They offer the best versions on traditional Spanish dishes that all tourist want to try and the locals want to come back for. They include fresh bread with amazing olive oil, fresh herby olives, and a taste of some local wine with your meal! My date and I had the patatas bravas, which had so much flavor we were stunned. The presentation of the patatas was one of the most stunning presentations I’ve seen. The sardine toast was also delicious; the sardine itself was meaty and fresh. The steak croquetas were amazing as well! They don’t skimp on the aioli on the side, which may sound small but makes a big difference. The iberian pork gyozas were the least favorite dish of the night, but it was still yummy. Very sweet and rich. Overall, a stunning meal in a cozy welcoming environment.
We were recommended this place after our first choice was closed. We didn’t have reservations but luckily got seated right when they opened! We totally lucked out. One of the best meals I have had in Spain! The steak was amazing. So perfectly rare with the large salt flakes on top! We still talk about how delicious the dishes were!!
Lovely decorated place with modern takes on Spanish classics. Any place can have a bad day. Our visit was somewhat dampened by our main waitress who tolerated my faulty Spanish which seemed to have made her day worse indeed. I would recommend that the restaurant gives its dishes corresponding numbers for the staff to navigate between the Spanish and the English version of the menu as we ended up with not just 1 of 4 starters wrong but 2 of 4 main courses wrong. Clearly futile to make an issue, so we didn't and the dishes themselves were ok. She left the table without checking if we wanted to order wine or additional water which is not what I would consider hospitable. The guy who was serving the wine was genuinely friendly and the waitress with glasses was helpful as well which was much appreciated.
Unfortunately had a terrible experience, despite all the positive reviews. Food was not edible - we ordered the bocadillo fish which was salty and chewy on a bed of over cooked gnocchi. The black rice was okay. We were served bread that we did not ask for, assuming it was complimentary, and then charged for it. Wait staff did not seem particularly interested in asking us why we did not touch our food. Paid 50€ for two entrees and a water and left hungry. Presentation of food was very pretty, and the atmosphere was well decorated.
We were unable to seat at the restaurant. Got there before the restaurant opening, without reservation. Once opened, we ask for a table for 2. They said they were full and could not seat us. The restaurant was empty, nobody had arrived yet. Usually, when you get to a restaurant right at opening time you get seated. No sympathy from the staff whatsoever.
