Maria’s Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! I had the bacon, egg, and bean burrito, and it was perfection — packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and that perfect balance of savory goodness. We also tried the barbacoa tacos, and they were so good — juicy, flavorful, and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. Every bite was delicious. What really made the experience stand out was the warmth and friendliness of the owner. They made us feel so welcome, like we were part of the family. The vibe of the place is cozy and authentic, the kind of spot where you know the food is made with love. Highly recommend Maria’s for anyone looking for amazing, authentic Mexican food and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. 5/5 without a doubt!

This is one of those dives you don’t want to leave a review for because you don’t want anyone else to know and to keep it all to yourself, but regardless, they deserve it! I got the Cuban torta, and it was SO good. I will be back for sure to get another. Best torta I’ve ever had. Soft bread, juicy meat, fresh, hot, fast, delicious.

PROs: Great location. Friendly and quick service. Food is good too. CONs: Nothing I found. Carne asada nachos was more than enough. It was 'not' ground beef but the carne asada was chopped up to look like ground beef. Thought I share that observation, it didn't change the good taste of nachos.

So far have only been here for breakfast but if that’s any indicator I’m sure the rest is great as well. Good food, good service and good prices. The only complaint I have is that the tables are kind of small, so it can get a little tight if you have more than a couple of people, but even that isn’t too bad if you relocate the extra stuff on the table.

Been looking for a good Mexican spot since I left California. Took me almost 3 years but there’s always a gem out there and this is the place really authentic. Actually some of the best sopes I have had and there California style fries with carne asada are the best I have had.

Our first visit… we loved it abs were very impressed. We were seeking enchiladas, which they don’t have, but my hubby and I ordered a carne asada burrito, a chicken soft corn taco (no photo), and a barbacoa sopa! All was delicious! And they have wonderful homemade cookies! We loved the green sauce too! The young men working were so friendly and the food was very good!

I love eating and reviewing Mexican food. Maria's is the absolute best place I've eaten in DFW area since I moved here in 2017. This place reminds me of my childhood. The food has a Hispanic home cooked meal taste. It reminds me of my dad making meals. The smell of the cooking also hits home. The Carne Asada Taco is the best steak Taco I've eaten. It's a must try. My wife got the Pastor Taco and had to order more to take home for later. That never happens. I definitely recommend the steak and pork tacos. We also got the California Style fries. Interestingly, these fries also reminded me of the food I grew up on. I was shocked at how much everything reminded me of home. Beans were below average. Rice was about average. I can't knock them in it though. The horchata was great. I recently ate another place that had bad Horchata. This one was good. The customer service was exceptional. I absolutely enjoyed the entire experience. I was pleasantly surprised that I found a new #1 Mexican Restaurant in the DFW area. I give Maria's Mexican Restaurant an 8.8 out of 10. This place is absolutely phenomenal. You won't regret coming here.

The food was delicious 🤤. Although the restaurant does not offer plates on their menu. The taco plate in the picture was purchased separately. It is great that the restaurant offers the opportunity to purchase individually but it would be nice to offer plates as well. But over the food was delicious 🥰❤️💯
