Our waiter Tyler was great. He was nice and knowledgeable. The food was great, they had large portions. We got the swordfish, salmon, and chicken. They were all flavorful and cooked perfect. The view from the second floor was gorgeous, especially with the sunset. We’d love to come back here.

This is a wonderfully good restaurant. The clam chowder was the best we had while in San Diego. The staff was pleasant and we were a walk in and ate in the bar area. The bartender was chipper and took care of us promptly, even while also tending bar. The atmosphere is relaxing and the views are beautiful. We sat by a window that overlooked the harbor. And it can even be romantic. Ask for seating outside or upstairs. We had clam chowder, the sourdough bread that us to die for, sea bass and butterfish. It was my first time having butterfish. It was a little too sweet for me but the rice and green beans were delicious. My husband loved his bass dish, with his scallopped potatoes being perfectly creamy and tasty. And the creme brulee was on point. They have a happy hour menu from 4-6 pm and we noticed the tacos were a big hit. We will definitely go here again the next time we are in San Diego. Sorry I was in the moment and didnt get food pics but this was our view.

The food is always good here.My wife and I have eaten here for the last 25 years. I lost my wife, a year ago. It took me a year to come back. It was extremely emotional for me. The staff and management are so kind ,they covered my meal. They have a lot of class.

Sat in the bar and had Lee serve us. Wonderful service, drinks and food. We got the artichoke crab dip, the butter fish and my wife got the sword fish - both were incredible and highly recommended!

Last minute find, but glad we did. The best service we’ve had since coming to San Diego for business and with the family. Had Ashling upstairs and the service was excellent and much appreciated. Food was good. The drinks were strong.

We ate here yesterday on the recommendation of a local and it did not disappoint. Located directly in the marina, the outdoor table was spacious and the outside air temperature was about a perfect 74 degrees. I had the classic burger, it was delicious. My wife had the tuna poke bowl and she said it was delicious. My niece had shrimp and her husband had the "brick" grilled chicken. Their meals were very good. Our server Logan did a great job.

A great spot right on the water! It was our first time here and we already cannot wait to come back again. We were able to snag a reservation and got seated on time with a great view. It did have a wait by the end of our meal so I'd recommend a reservation here. The inside is nice. Definitely that coastal/beachy vibe that was exactly what we wanted. The service was excellent throughout our whole meal! Food wise, delicious! Everything we ordered was cooked so well and tasted great! We started with the oysters which were a great appetizer. We both ordered the local fish entrees - Misoyaki Butterfish and the Gold Spotted Sea Bass. I'd give the Butterfish the win on this both both were excellent! They have a nice drink menu as well. The kids meals are tiny, definitely more individually sized at best. After dinner, walk over to the beach and go catch the sunset! Perfect evening in Coronado.

Excellent restaurant with superior service, phenomenal food with every course and an amazing wait staff. We were seated inside but right next to the water and enjoyed every bite of every dish. Highly recommend this stop if you're near Coronado/San Diego!!!

Gorgeous view of the docks with yachts and the seafood is fabulous. There is good wine list and both can and draft beer. A short walk from the Coronado, where we parked our e-bikes. I ordered the spanish octopus while my wife had the NE chowder. All so good!

Great fishery. The black cod, sea bass, halibut were extraordinary! Probably among top 3 fishes in my life. A must go place if you like seafood. Paul the waiter served us amazingly

Tastes like it was right out of the kelp beds! The clam chowder was fantastic! The bowl is a little small for the price but you should know when you go to a restaurant with the history and atmosphere like this has the price/size always goes up so not a problem. The sourdough bread was amazing as well. I actually don’t even like it usually but I had 3 pieces. California roll was good and had real crab. It did have a good price but it was hard to compare to the clam chowder. I would take a hard pass on the key lime pie. It was edible but that is not the word I would hope to use for a $13 piece of pie. Bland and horrible crust. The tartness that makes it so good actually came from the sauce which I think was raspberry not the pie. The view also fantastic. We had a table by the window so we got to enjoy watching the boats. Adri G was our server and she was absolutely adorable so sweet she really knows how to make someone feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I come to dine in several times. The first time was several years ago when we just moved in San Diego. We were attracted by the architecture and feeling like seafoods, so we decided to give a try. Everything is pretty good! I remember we had grilled fish, fried calamari and maybe salad. We loved here. This time we were not that hungry so I had a salad and my hubby had a fish taco, both are very good! The service is nice and fast. The view is amazing by the water, the atmosphere is great!

It was hard to choose from the menu after reading all the reviews! I settled for oysters and they were from Washington and so good! Get the oysters! Main entree was the butterfish. Hmmm…let me start by saying that i never had this fish before and hence, one of the reason for picking this one. My first bite was not that great. It reminded me of dried fish from Asia. Almost made me think my fish is rotten but then the second bite was ok. Very buttery i must say but also bland. Prolly just my palate because I go for “tasty food”. It came with rice which I am not a rice person in fact I really do not eat rice but i took a bite to taste it. It was short rice, i do not know what kind but it was on the crunchy maybe “al dente” side and maybe how it is supposed to be cooked but like I said I am not a rice person. Back to the fish! I asked for and added soy sauce and black pepper and for that did it! I can taste the contrast of the sweet marinade? vs the saltiness of soy and it tasted very good then. Then, i had another bite of what tasted like rotten fish then the rest of the fish was great! Cannot figure out what it was with that rotten fish taste? Anyways, all praise to my server because he was the most attentive and came to check on everyone a lot! His name is Reid. He works really hard!

Coronado for a complete game victory. The location of the restaurant is solid, and the decor is clean, nothing fancy B. The service was a solid A-/B+, and the server knew both the food and drink menu. The food completed the trifecta nicely prepared, flavorful and fresh, and decent size portions and price point.

We dined earlier today as a group of five. While the food was generally good, two issues were unacceptable. My meal contained a rubber-like foreign object, which I reported to our server, Alak. Additionally, my youngest daughter’s side was served incorrectly (rice instead of French fries). These issues reflect both food safety and order accuracy concerns and significantly impacted our experience.
