We will come back!
Great to be here! Real family feeling. Always helpfull. We love to eat here with our friends. Great food, always! Really a great place to be. And Jasmin is supersweet! Thanks love!
Super Friendly staff. Great food. Kids menu. Couldn't ask for more! Great service and quality of paella. Bathrooms were clean with baby changing available in the ladies
We ended up here completely by accident on the first night of our holiday… and then came back another three times. The location overlooking the sea is magic. The staff are brilliant and full of energy Special thanks to Mohamed, whose passion and enthusiasm is contagious. And the seafood paella? Easily the best in Corralejo. We’ll absolutely be back next year. Sarah and Chris from Ireland.
We booked this place in advanced for a friends birthday and had asked them to bring a cake at the end of the meal. We got there and were seated immediately. They had put balloons on our table already. Food was fantastic. Service perfect. And at the end they brought out the cake and played happy birthday completely surpassing our friend. A+
La Playita – Dinner with a View (and a Smile!) What a lovely spot! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the food tasty and well-prepared, and the views — absolutely jaw-dropping. We were lucky to get what’s probably the best table in all of Corralejo, right by the water. The menu offers a good, varied selection with plenty of drink options, and service timing was just right — relaxed but attentive. A nice touch: heaters between the tables, so you can stay cozy and enjoy the sea breeze well after sunset. ☀️ Nice to know: Perfect place for a golden-hour dinner with ocean views. 🍷 Tip: Ask for a seaside table — it’s worth it! Friendly, tasty, and unforgettable — highly recommended.
My partner and I chose this restaurant for our final evening in Corralejo and weren’t disappointed! The service was great from the moment we were seated. Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. We shared a shrimp starter and mixed Paella for two which was plenty. The Paella was served to us from the pan and was absolutely delicious! Lovely location sat right on the seafront.
Favourite meal of the holiday - lovely setting alongside the water, very friendly service and great seafood - we loved the mixed paella in particular. We wanted to sit outside so we said we’d happily wait for a bit and they made an effort to find us a table. Overall good vibe with heaters to keep you comfortable and a generally enjoyable atmosphere.
An absolute gem of a restaurant! The seafood and fish dishes were nothing short of spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of why I love coastal cuisine. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. And the view? Easily one of the best in town—breathtaking and the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. A fantastic place all around. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
Favourite family restaurant down by the edge of the old harbour in Corralejo. Have been coming back here for years. Lovely setting, great menu, fab food, super friendly staff and amazing vista out to the sea. Always busy which is a good sign. Lots of variety on the menu and of course some Canarian cuisine too. Highly recommended.
We had visited this restaurant twice in our time in the resort and we found the selection and quality of the food excellent on both occasions. The first time we went, we decided to share 2 x Large Paellas between 5 of us, which was plenty with the addition of garlic bread each. The second time, tonight, we all had different dishes; King Prawns for one, Mixed Fried Seafood for another, Barracuda (special) for another, then 2 x Swordfish. For dessert, there was a selection of ice creams, tarts, Tiramasu and cakes to try. There is nothing like eating exquisite food right beside where it was caught on the seafront and, especially when the lights go down, the ambiance of the restaurant was something not to be missed either. Both times the meals were ended with shots of Honey Rum on the house with a little added waiter-entertainment whilst they poured these. For fresh seafood of this quality, it was excellent value for money. A well-recommended restaurant to eat at!!!
La Playita was a well positioned and all round good restaurant to go to. The owner and staff were friendly, welcoming and really went out of their way to look after us. Even better, they were absolutely wonderful with our kids and made a big fuss of them to also make them feel special and entertained. The food was delicious and portions very generous. I ordered the paella which they said could be made for one, rather than the two minimum mentioned on the menu. I genuinely thought I was a mistake when they brought it believing they had made me a 2 person meal but, no, it was a single portion. There isn't anything bad to say and would recommend for an easy, casual dinner with a great sea view.

Camareros agradables y atentos. Relación calidad precio buena
Very good fish and staff friendly. Grilled fish of the day was €23-26 and comes with salad and Canarian potatoes. White House wine was good (€14). They offer blankets of cold and it’s on the seafront with nice tables and heaters, so good atmosphere. Only issue was we ordered a sea bream and a red snapper, which they gave us the wrong way round and when we questioned it, as we thought we knew which was which, the server said it was right, so given that it’s a fish restaurant we thought he would know better than us, so we started eating each others food, but then the original waiter who took our order passed by and said that they were the wrong way round.
Unpleasant wine. Tough steak. Frozen vegetables. staff friendly enough but quality of ingredients poor.

Service was resonable food was so disappointing. Cold pasta tough lamb chops and the waiting staff constantly pushing past you to get to tables. Recommend less tables and better food

I had a really great meal at La playita . I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, and it was absolutely excellent — full of flavor and served in a generous portion. I also tried the four cheese pasta, which was very tasty as well, although the pasta was slightly overcooked. The location is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle — between the sea, the port, and the busy promenade filled with people walking by. It's a bit noisy, but it fits the lively, playful vibe of the city. Prices are on the higher side, especially considering that you can find similar meals for much less elsewhere, but the portions are abundant, so it feels somewhat justified. The staff is nothing exceptional in terms of friendliness — they’re pretty average and straightforward, not particularly warm but not rude either
We took the grilled sea bass and sole meuniere. While the portion sizes were good, the fish itself was a bit dry and the sole had a strange chemical flavour. On the good side the staff are very nice and it has a nice view on the beach. Improving the quality of the fish would make this a great restaurant.
Service was quick. there was no issue with getting a seat on night we attended. Staff were friendly. If only the food could match the wonderful views. The location of the restaurant is right beside the beach. The arrabiata required a lot of pepper and salt to enhance the taste, never a fan of large chunks of garlic either, but this may be this restaurants style. Tourist trap.

We had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. The prices are disproportionately high compared to the quality of the food. The dishes, especially the fish and seafood, did not appear fresh and gave us the impression that they may no longer have been suitable for consumption. After our visit, we both experienced nausea and stomach pains, which lead us to suspect that the food may not have been stored or prepared properly. This is not only frustrating but also raises serious health concerns. For the price we paid, we expected at least fresh and edible food. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant and strongly hope that they address the quality and safety of their food.
