Interesting to see this place in Milan after having visited the original one in Havana. For sure it doesn't have the authenticity of the Cuban version, but it is successful being able to emulate a tropical atmosphere. It has good mojitos that are a bit too sweet. 🍹

Very good Cuban atmosphere, real Cuban food and real Cuban waiters. I went with a Puerto Rican friend so she told us exactly what to take, and we really enjoyed the food which was apparently authentic. I don't know much about authentic Cuban food and culture, but I do know that the food here was excellent. But the highlight of this place was - and it might be obvious - the rum and music. The mojito was excellent, I had two and a Cuba libre with the same dark rum. We all had a great time, started dancing and eventually the other patrons got up and joined our salsa.. the owner then offered us all a round of drinks and the rest of the evening was a load of fun. Will definitely go again !

Locale estremamente suggestivo, in grado di farti sentire a Cuba nel cuore di Milano. I piatti sono semplici (carne o pesce con riso, yuca o platano), ma generalmente golosi. Si può accompagnare la cena da un buon drink latino, dal margarita o il classico Cubano. Nel complesso una bellissima esperienza, anche se l’ho trovato un filo più di costoso di quanto mi aspettassi.

A due passi dai Navigli, è la replica italiana della leggendaria Bodeguita cubana. Che ormai è soltanto un’attrattiva turistica “temporizzata” per comitive. In comune hanno soprattutto la ressa, che in locali così comunque fa parte del folklore. Buoni i cocktails e la carta dei rhum da tutto il mondo è pressoché infinita. Un po’ meno curata la cucina ma accettabile.

Locale interessante, molto caratteristico nella scelta dei colori ed in termini di arredamento (palme tra i tavoli, bandiere, cartine geografiche su Cuba ed altri elementi). Cocktail decisamente buoni. Aperitivo non abbondante ma giusto. Personale garbato.

Un locale molto originale in stile Cubano con piatti tipici ed un buon Spritz. Porzioni del tagliere da rinforzare magari con i Nachos Imperiali.

Posto molto caratteristico, servizio rapido ed efficiente, un plauso particolare alla cameriera Bianca, molto gentile, la cucina è da migliorare ma il mojito è uno dei più buoni a Milano (a mio modesto parere) manca un po’ di entusiasmo da parte della titolare dietro il bancone, tornerò a bere sicuramente.

Ambiente strepitoso, sarebbe fantastico con un po' più di spazio ma veramente si passano ottime serate. Piatti un po' troppo scarsi onestamente, ma squisiti senza dubbio

Locale storico nel cuore dell’avana, molto affollato. Da provare il mojto e cacha. Il cocktail É accompagnato da uno spettacolo di musicisti. , inoltre, il locale vende sigari che si possono assaporare in loco.

Posto carino e scenografico ma troppo caro, una birra costa 7€ e i cocktail 10€! Inoltre il servizio è lasciato al caso, le cameriere non fanno altro che fumare fuori dal locale e poi servono ai tavoli! Non mi ha lasciato nulla e personalmente trovo che ci sono tanti posti a Milano dove bere un cocktail migliore a un costo inferiore

Il ristorante, situato a pochi passi dalla darsena, è un angolo di Cuba nel cuore di Milano. Il locale è caratterizzato da un'atmosfera festosa e informale. Il menù non è molto vario, ma offre piatti tipici. Le portate principali di carne sono accompagnate da riso bianco basmati con fagioli, tubero lesso e chips di platano. L'unico dolce disponibile è il creme caramel, con topping a vari gusti. Ottima la sangria. L'intrattenimento del sabato sera è la musica cubana cantata dal vivo. Prezzo medio-alto (30/40 €). Lo consiglio per una serata tra amici.

This is a fantastic place for food, drinks and open until 0130. The food was excellent, hot and very tasty...and the beers were flowing nicely. My only complaint is that the server, although she was very good at her job, she was not friendly or welcoming which is a pity because we would have probably stayed until closing time...therfore, increasing their sales and our enjoyment by at least 8 - 10 beers. 🍻

I brought a group of friends to have dinner in this place that brings lot of memories to me, so they could taste a bit about cuban food. It could have been a nice experience, but the service was SO BAD! on top of the ridiculously high price, which we would not have mind if at least there was a nice service. The food overall was good, but it took an hour and half to get to the table. The atmosphere was nice, the vibes very folkloric. It was just such a shame for the bad service, that made me not wanting to come back again.

The waitresses were quite rude. The table was kinda sticky and i asked to be cleaned, first she checked if i am telling the truth, then she grab a dirty half dried cleaning cloth to clean the table. I wished i wouldn't ask bcs it left this disgusting smell. The drinks werent so good either unfortunately. I coulndt drink my mojito bcs it was super alcoholic. And my friend's had a scent of alcohol. The atmosphere was nice, people looked happy to be there, so maybe we were unlucky that day

Food has flavor but lacks depth. You should not order over 170 Euros worth of food and leave hungry. They should be ashamed to call themselves CUBANS.... 1 teaspoonful of frijoles on top of a child's portion of rice is not how CUBAN'S serve their national dish of Ropa Veija. The fried chicken is good, and should be ordered. This place needs to change it's name to Atlanta's version of Miami. These Cubanos know what right looks and taste like, why they refuse to embrace it in Milan is simply a mystery. Order the fried chicken and eat everything else somewhere else. Or decide against this advice and leave hungry like a French model in Paris.

Great drinks, and atmosphere, I was so excited to eat but then they forgot our food order. We waited a ridiculously long time and when I eventually mentioned it, only because i wanted to pay the bill, but not for the nonexistant food, they lied and said it was "already made" and they just had to bring it out, but we waited another 20 minutes after that. They offered us free shots to compensate, but I would have rather had at least one of the dishes taken off the bill.

Non sono una che rompe tanto le scatole,ordino bevo pago e me ne vado, ma nel 2025 una cosa così è inaccettabile ! Bicchieri (tutti e 2) sporchi di rossetto su tutto il bordo ,la ciotolina delle patatine non vedeva la lavastoviglie da tempo ,qualità dello spritz scarsa (non penso fossero aperol e Campari originali)

Abbiamo chiesto la formula Aperitivo e ci è stata negata. Abbiamo provato ad ordinare oltre al drink, qualcosa che non fossero Tapas e ci è stato negato. Siamo andati via. Erano le 18.30, la scusa é stata che avrebbero avuto tanti clienti a cena… boh

Posto veramente pessimo. Io, con due miei amici entriamo per prendere per loro una cosa d'asporto. Loro prendono un bicchiere di prosecco e una fanta da portare via. Paghiamo e la ragazza ci dice di bere di consumare al bancone. Arriviamo al bancone e il barman o il proprietario mi dice con aria da vero maleducato che per forza anche io devo consumare anzi meglio "no devi per forza bere". Inutile dire che me ne sono andata, per quanto mi riguarda mai più Faccio lo stesso lavoro da 5 anni e so quanto può essere stressante però se non hai un minimo di empatia non farlo

Esperienza da dimenticare… o meglio, da non ripetere mai più. Servizio inesistente, personale che ti guarda come se stessi disturbando. Il cibo? Una tristezza assoluta: freddo, insapore e servito con tempi biblici. Qualità da mensa scolastica (anni ‘80). Sconsigliatissimo. Sé questa è Cuba, meglio restare a casa con una scatoletta di tonno. Almeno è onesta.

Esperienza orribile. Mi avevano consigliato questo posto, così ho prenotato per i miei amici, ma sinceramente è stata un’esperienza pessima. I miei amici hanno finito per odiare il locale, e io ci sono rimasta male perché ci tenevo, pensavo sarebbe stato un posto fantastico. Quello che ha rovinato tutto è stato il servizio clienti, davvero terribile. Prima di tutto, ci hanno messo una vita senza esagerare, solo per portarci il menù, perché il codice QR non funzionava. Poi, la ragazza che ci ha serviti, una giovane, sembrava odiare il suo lavoro o farlo apposta: ci ha trattati con un atteggiamento arrogante e scortese. Alla mia amica ha praticamente lanciato il menù dei drink, tanto che lei si è alzata ed è andata via. Tutto sbagliato, davvero. Non capisco perché ci abbia trattato in quel modo, dato che noi siamo sempre stati gentili. Ci girava gli occhi, ci rispondeva male… un disastro! Anch’io ho lavorato come cameriera, ma nemmeno nei miei giorni peggiori avrei trattato così i clienti. Ci sono tante persone che vorrebbero lavorare e invece lei, con quel comportamento, rovina anche l’immagine del locale. I miei ospiti erano turisti, alcuni erano studenti internazionali, altri invece persone come me che vivono qui a Milano. Li avevo portati lì pensando che sarebbe stata un’ottima scelta… ma alla fine se ne sono andati delusi e infastiditi. In poche parole: non darei neanche una stella. Servizio clienti pessimo, tempi di attesa eterni, e l’atteggiamento della cameriera semplicemente inaccettabile 👎Horrible experience. My friends ended up hating the place, and I felt really bad because I was genuinely excited to go; I thought it would be great. What completely ruined everything was the customer service. First of all, they took forever — and I’m not exaggerating — just to bring us the menu, since the QR code wasn’t working. Then, the waitress who served us, a young girl, seemed to either hate her job or be doing it on purpose. She treated us with such a rude and arrogant attitude. She practically threw the drinks menu at my friend, which made her get up and leave the place. Everything was just wrong. I honestly don’t understand why she treated us that way when we were always polite. She rolled her eyes at us, spoke to us rudely — it was just awful! I’ve worked as a waitress before, and even on my worst days, I would never treat people like that. There are so many people who would love to have that job, and she’s there damaging the reputation of the place. My guests were tourists — some were international students, and others were people like me who live here in Milan. I took them there thinking it would be a great choice, but in the end, they left feeling disappointed and annoyed. In short: I wouldn’t even give it one star. Terrible customer service, endless waiting times, and a waitress with an overall horrible attitude.

The food is average at best, and expensive. The service and customer experience is terrible! The waitresses were constantly complaining and very rude. After constantly messing up our order (mind you, we were a large group), she ultimately got confused and served the wrong drink, and blamed it on us.

They sat me at a table without telling me it was reserved, only to ask me to get up a few minutes later. The attitude was miserable and disdainful, which completely ruined the experience. The food, moreover, leaves much to be desired.

I have been to la Bodeguita del medio in many places (Budapest, Prague and Mexico) and I have had always a good time and excellent service. The one in Milan it is the only one that have horrible service (have been there quiet some times) and always I’ve been disappointed. The first time I had booked and they didn’t have our reservation and didn’t have a table for us even though we had received the confirmation. This time they charged for chips that in all the other tables were for free while for us were charged because we had dinner? I really don’t understand the logic behind. For this reason I would not recommend this place. Even though the atmosphere was nice the service destroyed the night.

AWFUL service. I made a reservation through google (Quandoo) , I received the email that my reservation was confirmed but when we arrived in the place the waitress was telling us that quandoo is not working and that they keep accepting reservations while they are full. By keep complaining they admitted that they saw a foreign name and they thought that it was a prank!!! Unacceptable behaviour. After one hour waiting for finding us a table ( after prioritising other people) they put as in a stand. When they finally came to us to order the waitress(the one with the black short hair with bangs) through her pen because we complained . The majority of the stuff was rude and not helpful at all overall all night. The behaviour was disrespectful and discriminatory. I would never visit the place ever again.

The worst service I've ever seen in this city. Being in the most international place in Milan (the road to Bocconi) one would expect the staff to know English- none of the waiters knew anything but Italian. Moreover, the waitress was rude to the point of being racist. I was on the verge of getting up and leaving, but my friends held me back and calmed me down. The food is very mediocre, and we weren't allowed to enter inside the restaurant, because apparently it was all reserved and there's no space (there clearly was.) I didn't get the chance to go to the manager and complain about this issue, but I strongly would suggest whoever reads this to skip the place because they really don't deserve as much footfall as they get when they make their customers miserable with their "hospitality".
