The bar is adjacent to the Esselunga supermarket, offers spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had an "anniversary" cappuccino, which was truly excellent. Definitely the right place to stop and take a break. Recommended.

Good snacks and coffee. Fast, self ordering machines. Sometimes hard to find a clean vacant table to sit. Mostly frequented by locals.

The bar is big and student friendly. You can even have a mini graduation lunch there without obstructing others. Awesome!

We stayed overnight at a campsite in La Spezia and ended up here looking for breakfast. Originally, we just wanted a quick espresso. But since they had four different vegan sweet pastries like pain au chocolat and vegan croissants, we stayed for a second espresso and several more sweets ;) We were there around 9 am and the bar was quite busy. We were definitely impressed by the vegan selection of sweet pastries 🥮

The Esselunga café in La Spezia I visited this café one morning for breakfast. It's located next to the entrance to the Esselunga in La Spezia, so parking isn't a problem. The interior is spacious, and you can eat at the counter or sit at a table. In the morning, they offer a wide variety of pastries. I had a cream brioche, which I found to be delicious. There's a restroom available for customers.

Ho fatto colazione e non c’era confusione. Per avere un latte senza lattosio ho dovuto chiedere 3 volte (una volta mi haano Servito un cappuccino che non avevo chiesto). Arriva il latte ma ho dovuto chiedere un cucchiaino perché se ne erano dimenticati. Mario, scocciato mi guarda e mi da un cucchiaino come se mi stesse facendo un favore). A fine colazione ho chiesto un “bicchierino d’acqua” che mi é arrivato dopo 3/4 minuti dopo che in 3 si erano passati la voce. Ma il TOP é questo…. Lo zucchero, cioé non lo mettono come in tutti i bar, sul bancone ma sotto dove per un cliente é meno facile sia vederlo (e Mario alla mia richiesta, mi ha guardato come fossi sceso da marte) che evidentemente rubarglielo (eh sapeete 10 bustine rubate a fine giornata ti portano al fallimento). Anche le brioches erano “burro cotto” con farcitura. Da evitare . 100 metri prima e dopo avrete sicuramente un ambiente meno spazioso ma un servizio ed una qualità migliore.

Clean place, except that the food is served by the cashier and not the counter clerk, and it feels like a branch of the municipal dog pound... Slowly, slowly, slowly, the counter clerk alone has to set the table, clear the table, and prepare coffees and cappuccinos, with the result that they arrive in installments and if you ask for water, it doesn't even arrive. If you add to that the croissant is given to you by the person who gives you the receipt when the cappuccino arrives, perhaps you've already digested it, and if that's not the case, it's not at all pleasant to hold in your hand... No, yes, all lines.

I went to this bar for breakfast after a blood test. I was feeling sick and felt faint. I asked the guy if he had blueberry juice, but he said no. HE WAS SUPER KIND and made me a smoothie, telling me to come to the counter. There was this girl on the balcony who was super nervous and was getting her orders wrong. While I was politely informing her, having mistakenly said a smoothie or blueberry juice, she raised her voice and treated me terribly in front of everyone. The very kind guy arrived, brought me the smoothie and said, "Here it is, it's ready." I turned around and saw a man there who smiled at me and said, "How can you do that?" I replied, "I have no patience anymore," and she continued to treat me terribly in front of all the customers, using a loud voice and in that mean way. I understand the NO day BUT TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS IN SUCH A POLITE PLACE WHERE YOU EAT WELL EVEN BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN THERE AND I THINK IT WILL BE THE LAST.
