Pizza davvero ottima, soffice e saporita.
There's no comparison with the local "Neapolitan pizzas." Aside from the fact that Cristina made Neapolitan pizza history in Turin, her grandson now lives up to her reputation and perhaps surpasses that of his grandmother. Highly selected ingredients. The dough and the wood-fired oven. The perfect crust. And finally: the Neapolitan pastiera from down there. An experience not to be missed. And one to repeat. And the atmosphere? It's perfect, surrounding the pizza that evokes Neapolitan style. Thank you.
A pizzeria from another era where you'll want to order more. The lightness of the carefully crafted dough makes you enjoy authentic pizza at its best. A slice of the countryside transported to Turin. A pizzeria that cares about "good food" and doesn't try to be flashy just to attract customers. Despite its simplicity, they know how to welcome guests with kindness and friendliness. Parking isn't easy, but if you want, you can! Clean place, cloth tablecloths and napkins. Low prices for the quality. Professional and polite staff, they welcome you with a smile.
It's been ages since I've eaten pizza here. I really liked two things: 1. The pizza dough, soft and very light; 2. The old-fashioned '80s pizzeria that doesn't pretend to be a gourmet restaurant. I ask myself: why did I let all this time go by? Congratulations
Who doesn't remember the pizzeria "DA CRISTINA" on Corso Palermo? Outside, we had to wait up to an hour. Her husband would hand out the numbers and then call when it was time... "O NUMMER" TRENTACINC!! Walking in and sitting down, smelling the aroma coming from the oven, where Cristina and her two nephews worked, was a privilege. I, being Neapolitan, closed my eyes for a moment and felt like I was in Port'Alba. This lucky moment for the place lasted a long time, with everyone leaving refreshed and happy. I went there last night. Cristina and her husband are no longer here... they make pizzas in Paradise. Her nephew remains, having learned the trade excellently. The pizza is excellent, the ingredients are super fresh, the kindness is touching. The place has retained the characteristics of historic Neapolitan pizzerias. On the walls are photos of famous patrons, including Pulcinella, Totò, and Neapolitan views and sayings. The low prices offset the excellent quality and service. I wondered why almost all the tables were empty. Why are pizzerias advertising pineapple so trendy these days, and why do we no longer recognize tasty things? Go there. You'll be back. For me, it remains one of the tastiest and most authentic pizzas in Turin.
Excellent pizza and fried gnocco! We went here for dinner with friends, and I have to say the pizza was very good. They have a wood-fired oven and the ingredients are fresh. Plus, the service is excellent! I hope to return soon.
Brought here by a friend after work, I was initially hesitant because, honestly, I wasn't expecting much in the area; but the surprise was excellent. I have to say, the pizza is truly excellent, and the staff is very kind and friendly. The location probably penalized the place, but just by walking in and chatting with the owner, we discovered that it's a historic Turin restaurant, often featured in restaurant guides and a few newspaper articles. The place is very basic, so don't have high expectations, but the pizza (in my opinion) is definitely good!! Honestly, I recommend trying it at least once!
One of the best pizza in Turin. Great service as well. Thank you!
Very kind ! Great pizza !!! I love it :)
Super nice staff, who could speak French and Spanish, so we didn't struggle a lot to try to communicate in Italian. Thanks a lot for those amazing pizzas! 😍
Their pizza have a good taste that's why I always visit them.. ....
If you're looking for real napolitan Pizza, that's the place to go in Turin. Excellent!
Ora è gestito dai figli e nipoti. La pizza è sempre molto buona. Ci ritorneremo volentieri
The pizza is pleasant, though average—I'd say high. The ingredients are authentic, and the dough is easy to digest, if a bit thin. The beer is good. The service is impeccable. It's a place from another era, and therefore pleasant. Overall: worth a try.
Good pizza . You can see how they cook it. Family atmosphere m
I enjoy living here
The dough tasted great, but unfortunately, both of our pizzas were undercooked in some spots. I didn't like the mozzarella, which didn't seem to blend with the rest of the pizza's flavors, and I even thought it was excessive. The prices are quite high, especially considering the area; the total for a Margherita, water, and cover charge was €9. Considering the excellent pizzerias just a short walk into the center, I'd suggest eating elsewhere.
Pizza buonina
I travel all over Italy! I eat an average of 3-4 pizzas a week. I've eaten at this pizzeria before and was very satisfied! But not this time! The pizza didn't rise very well, was rock hard, and had no flavor at all (the dough), but the toppings were very good! When paying, I asked for clarification and was told it was due to the bad weather and that the rising times might have been compromised (for those who know about pizza, you already know what that means 😂). I hope it goes back to being the old Da Cristina pizzeria, it really deserved it!
We were a group of 9, half of the pizzas were uncooked. They had to make it again, after waiting for another 30 minutes and eating separately, the pizzas were again uncooked!! Not recommending at all.
We visited this restaurant as a group, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The pizzas were brought to us very late, and when they arrived, they were undercooked. We politely asked for a replacement, but the second round of pizzas was also not properly cooked. To make things worse, the manager did not offer any apology for the inconvenience! Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
One of the worst pizzas in Turin. Now I understand why the place was completely empty, unlike the pizzerias around it. Let's start with the pizza... the subtle impact might even be acceptable if it weren't for the extremely poor quality ingredients used. The place is very old, not renovated at all. We ordered takeout, but as soon as we entered we wanted to leave; we didn't dare, hoping to at least eat a good pizza. Avoid! There are better pizzerias nearby.
