Spettacolo con cibo. È un buon ristorante nulla di più, ma l’atmosfera che vivi con le esibizioni musicali sempre effettuate da grandissimi professionisti fanno sì che questo locale sia fantastico. Il servizio impeccabile il cibo sufficiente anche un po’ di più, ma il vero plus è il divertimento che ti fanno vivere in questo luogo. È una splendida terrazza sulle Dolomiti pertanto inutile dire che sia sufficiente guardare il panorama che ti fa capire perché l’UNESCO abbia deciso che sia un patrimonio mondiale. Pertanto anche se ci fosse solo una sedia e un tavolino, il locale sarebbe bellissimo. Per il resto vai spendi e ti diverti tanto. Vi ricordo che più del 50% del conto finale serve per pagare l’artista, pertanto non dite che è caro!

Siamo stati da El Camineto in occasione del pranzo spettacolo con la band di Alessandro Ristori: esperienza fantastica. Ottimo cibo e un ambiente di grande festa, musica e spettacolo che ha reso la giornata davvero speciale. Spettacolo graditissimo! Grazie ad Alessandro Ristori e alla sua band, ma anche allo staff: ragazzi veloci, efficienti, eleganti e garbati. El Camineto: consigliatissimo.

Restaurant on the mountain. Nice setting, cozy ambience and kind staff. Food is good apart from desserts which feel like premade / preforzen ( they do not follow the quality of other plates from the menu). The Beef Buns as appetizer and Beef ribs were exceptional! Must try! Negroni was also good.

The ambience is warm and elegant, the dishes are beautifully crafted, and every bite feels elevated by the stunning panorama outside. A perfect spot for a memorable meal in Cortina. If going for lunch - best would be to sit outside during winter period .

The whole of Teentino in one shop. Great initative to promote the local produce and the quality is amazing. Everything from cured meat to cheeses and beyond is amazing. Prices are quite reasonable too.

Atmosphere first because the breath-taking scenery around El Camineto is what first hit us. It is unobtrusively situated along a mountainside with gorgeous wide views of Cortina and its surroundings. The restaurant atmosphere was unfussy and comfortable. Because we are those people, we were early. Rather that watch us shiver as we waited for the restaurant to open, we were welcomed to be seated inside and offered a glass of prosecco. From there, the staff and the service they provided was impeccable. The ordering advice and suggested wine pairings they provided was highly helpful. I noticed one of the wait staff serve people Coke Zero with the same courteous attention he gave the people who ordered a spendy bottle of wine. Now for dinner. Someone had just been foraging for wild mushrooms because mushrooms were an obvious menu feature. My wild mushroom soup with a flaky pastry crust was the most delicious mushroom soup I have ever had. Both my husband and I ordered the beef filet. It was quite reasonably priced, so we expected a small portion. We received a cut was easily over three inches tall, nearly twice as wide, and cooked to absolute perfection. The mushroom (of course) sauce was a perfect addition. I ordered lavender tiramisu, which I still dream about. It was smooth and full of lavender flavor. Will we be back to El Camineto--heck, yes!

Service: 150% and amazing. Food promptly and quickly brought out. Attention by all staff including the management. We felt appreciated and had a warm welcome by all. Food: best wine list we have seen yet in Cortina area. Incredible taste for all dishes ordered, locally sourced and locally made. The first taste gives you that ‘oh my lord’ feeling. Price: affordable and underpriced for the quality of food. Overall: when local Italians are driving up a 15 minute mountain with switchbacks and reservations made in advance for the quality of food and service - follow their lead. The locals know best….this place was completely packed by 8pm.

One of the best restaurants in Cortina. Ideal for lunch, close to the Tofana slopes. Has a beautiful outdoor terrace where you can eat overlooking the mountains. Food is amazing and prices are very honest.

Book a table in advance because this place is usually packed, but for a good reason. Fantastic food, great wine selection, super friendly service. Also absolutely the best dinner view in any restaurant around Cortina. Well worth the long and twisty drive up the mountain.

El Camineto, ha un suo appeal che però non emerge subito. L'accoglienza e il servizio sicuramente di qualità cosi come i piatti proposti, anche se un pò costosi, ma quello che non fa scattare l' ok , per me , è l' arredamento.

Avevamo prenotato il giorno prima per oggi alle 20:30, prenotazione chiaramente confermata. Eravamo molto entusiasti di provare questo posto, sia per la location stupenda, sia perché le recensioni erano assolutamente positive, motivo per cui eravamo convinti che anche il cibo sarebbe stato indubbiamente ottimo. Siamo partiti da Cortina affrontando circa 20 minuti di strada piuttosto artificiosa e impegnativa. Arrivati sul posto, non c’era neanche una macchina parcheggiata. Scendiamo dall’auto e troviamo la porta completamente chiusa. Ho provato più volte a richiamare il numero dal quale avevamo prenotato, ma nessuna risposta. Solo dopo, consultando le storie Instagram, abbiamo scoperto che il locale sarebbe rimasto chiuso fino al 9, annuncio pubblicato oggi stesso, senza alcun avviso ai clienti che avevano già prenotato. L’unica nota positiva di tutta l’esperienza è stata la vista spettacolare su Cortina dall’alto e sulle piste olimpiche, che almeno ha reso meno amaro il viaggio a vuoto. Non sono solita lamentarmi, ma questa gestione non è stata corretta né professionale. Avvisare i clienti con una prenotazione attiva sarebbe stato il minimo.

Went with the family for lunch and dinner. Happening place especially for lunch. Food is not bad but I have had better in Cortina. music was good.

Great service, nice atmosphere, quite a good tiramisu. The food overall is, unfortunately, not so good and definitely not worth the money. The venison steak tasted more like beef liver, the octopus was on the dry side, the medium rare steak was a solid medium. This place has great potential and would do so much better if the quality of food was higher. But for now, you would probably be better of eating at a local pizzeria. Would love to return when the quality improves.

This place is a joke! A wanna be high altitude restaurant with ambiance. The service sucks, the waiter is lost between a failed waiter with a disrespectful attitude and a failed DJ, the waitress is lost in wilderness. We were a group of 10, most of the items on the menu were unavailable, they forgot both my first and second plate, didn’t care, didn’t apologize, after everybody was done eating, one of the managers cared to bring a soup that looked like a messy beginners broth… and then we left! A disgrace!
