I've never had a miss. Probably my most patronized restaurant in Cortland, mostly for the specials, and I've not regretted a single meal. Best lunch spot in the city.

Edit: Have been going practically every week, quality only goes up! Great Vibes, Great Atmosphere, Amazing People Absolutely phenomenal place, got the Korean Pork Belly Fries, and was blown away. whatever they're doing, they're doing it right

Gorgers' bahn mi pork belly sub is my favorite sandwich of all time. There's also no other restaurant that you can call to place an order and have them ask you when you'll get there because it could be ready in as little as 5 minutes lol. Friendly employees, great atmosphere to dine in, and big portions. Literally zero complaints!

Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the customer service is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars. Matt (the chef) runs daily specials that NEVER fail to amaze me. Today we had the chicken and sausage riggies special and it was perfect. Everyone that walked in was greeted by the entire staff and treated with respect. Our food came out quick hot and fresh to order. We come here quite often and are always impressed. The food is fresh and homemade from the bread to the sauces and you can taste the genuine care put into it. If you haven’t been to Cortland Gorgers yet, you just NEED to go!! Thank you Matt!

The staff is very attentive. Everyone working asked up if we enjoyed our food. There were 4 in our group and we all happy with our lunches.

The Diamond brothers serve affordable, flavorful, and globally inspired food in this unassuming sandwich shop. The Cortland location is newer and more spacious than the original establishment in Ithaca. I'm very picky when it comes to rice dishes but I have to admit that the rice bowls I ordered from there were amazing. The best value for the price, and the best price for the value.

I’ve been ordering from Gorgers for about 4+ years now. Friends, Family & myself LOVE the chicken riggies. I’ve ordered it many times. Matt also catered for my wedding and the food was a hit. Great guy and cares about establishing rapport with his customers. Thanks again Matt! You know I’ll be back!

I love this place. As a family we always get a mixture of subs, salad, and fries. All of their food is delicious. Fresh ingredients, house-made bread for the subs, homemade fries, couldn’t be any better. The fries are amazing and for $4 (a large) there are tons. The Cortland store is clean and huge inside. Service was impeccable. I’d definitely recommend to anyone to eat here. They have a mix of meat and vegetarian subs also.

Holy moly.. you want to talk about a good sub! Portions were out of this world huge. I didn’t even begin to make a dent in the fries or sub. Come hungry!! The chef and staff was so kind. You can tell the chef is passionate about his creations. Thanks for the great lunch!!🥪

Excellent!! My wife and I were visiting our son at Cortland U and stopped by on Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Before we ordered the cook/chef/owner? described the soup of the day which he had just "thrown together" and which we ordered and it was extremely tasty! Also, my wife ordered the Caesar chicken salad, I had the Chupacabra and my son had the Chicken bacon ranch which we all enjoyed immensely. We will definitely return here every time we visit!

Pretty much the only place in town where everything is made fresh right in front of you? I’ve seen them make flatbread, subrolls, hand cut potatoes for French fries, bread chicken, etc. Even the chicken breast, pork, steak are all fresh and not frozen. The staff is very personable as well. Lots of flavor in the food! Cant beat it.

Creative menu and great sandwiches, with a very friendly and attentive staff. Sub rolls are baked in house and taste great. Boardwalk style fries were really good too. Order the homemade hummus and flatbread, you won't be disappointed!

Matthew catered our family’s wedding and the food was amazing!!! I did forget to take a pic of the dinner buffet but it had EVERYTHING, tons of variety for everyone, and all of it tasted wonderful and homemade! The charcuterie boards for the apps were super impressive too. Highly recommend! For any event. :)

Had the eggplant banh mi sandwich and fries. Absolutely delicious! They make the sandwich bread fresh daily and just added fried eggplant as a vegetarian substitute available for all of their dishes. The portions were so big I had enough to take home leftovers. 110% recommend!

Checkout the daily specials! They are always full of fresh flavors and has never disappointed. This is the Truffle Alfredo and it was delicious. And the Japanese Scallop sandwich - fresh and mouth watering! Great job guys!!

If you are vegetarian, or just looking to try something new, definitely ask for it! Also, the staff is so friendly.

Everything is made in house from the bread, to pickled veggies, to sauces, and so much more. A rarity in these times. The flavor was on point and the food creativity and presentation leaves you only wanting more. If I lived closer this would be my regular hangout. Seriously, if you haven't been you need to go. So glad we stopped here while in town by chance, but anytime we are in town we will be back. If I could rate this 10 stars I would!

You can choose any 6in sub with salad, soup, or fries and a drink for $9 picture is the shrimp Po boy with bay seasoning and a side of broccoli cheddar soup but you can get a ceasar side salad instead if dont want soup. The bread is made in house and is delicious.

Been awhile since I have ate here. Pre covid but wow is it just as amazing now as it was then. The service was exceptional and the food was really good. Will continue to get food from here as it will hit the spot every time.

Food and service were some of the best in a while. Tried the Grilled Smoked tukery & ham melt and Parrish Pounder. Both sandwiches were incredible and tied together with the homemade rolls. Porkbelly fries hit the spot!

Wow, how did I not try this place sooner! Possibly one of the best lunches I've ever had. Fresh bread, really high quality ingredients. The flavors were outstanding. I had the shrimp bacon sriracha sandwich and my sister and wife had different dishes. All of us were very pleased. Nice people, great food!

Ordered the eggplant bahn mi and the chicken blue cheese sandwich. Both were delicious. Came with an order of fries and the beat aioli Kimchi we have had. Great spot!

Great find in Cortland. The menu was good, service great and food delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the three of us all enjoyed our meal. The orders were taken quickly and food delivered quickly too. Not only were our dishes tasty and well presented but they were served piping hot. We would all recommend this restaurant.

We got loaded fries and a couple subs. The fries and the chicken were definitely over cooked and hard, but honestly everything else was so good that it's worth going back to try it again (the homemade ranch OMG!). Plus the staff was ridiculously nice.

im sure this is a great place for a sit down experience, but if youre ordering something to go don't bother. Ordered a sub, chicken tenders and fries. Unsalted soggy fries and chicken tenders with no dipping sauces (was i supposed to ask for my food salted atleast?) which to me was a complete turn off. Got the coconut shrimp sub which consisted of mostly pickled carrots so it overwhelmed the taste, but overall wasn't terrible. I would try their subs again (probably with a different choice) but will never order to go from this place again. The Ithaca location always offers great food and service, but the Cortland location needs work.

I’ve ordered from Gorgers multiple times and the food is always amazing. Some of the best food around, but lately anytime I order food my order is ALWAYS messed up. This time in particular I ordered a Korean BBQ rice bowl with no red onions. It came with red onions and no Korean BBQ sauce…
