Nos ha encantado todo. El servicio, y en concreto Simone, que nos ayudó mucho con sus recomendaciones y cuidada atención. La comida espectacular, pedimos el ceviche de lubina, las vieiras, la pasta almar y el solomillo de angus. Me sorprendió la combinación de sabores, todo muy original y delicioso. Deseando repetir y probar mas cosas.

El trato del personal fue excepcional en todo momento, en nuestro caso particularmente nos atendió Simone y fue un encanto pasar la velada con gente tan profesional y atenta. La comida estaba riquísima, y si bien es cierto que los precios son elevados, vale la pena dada la calidad y delicadeza de cada plato. En nuestro caso pedimos el menú degustación de seis platos, y la cantidad fue buena. Recomendadísimo en caso de querer disfrutar de una noche tranquila y de calidad! En mi caso fui sorprendida por mi cumpleaños y todo el personal se implicó en hacer la noche aún más especial!

La calidad y preparación de la comida fue increíble, estaba todo delicioso. Nos atendieron muy bien, rápido y con mucha educación. Vinos canarios 👌🏼. Realmente quedamos encantados. Quizás no está ubicado en un sitio espectacular pero si te encuentras por la zona es una elección muy acertada.

Pedimos el menú degustación y la verdad que estaba todo buenísimo. La comida estaba increíble y el servicio muy atento. Davide nos atendió perfectamente y nos dio un trato muy amable. Sin duda si volvemos a Tenerife repetiremos!

Fuimos a una cena de aniversario y la verdad que el sitio tiene unas vistas muy bonitas, donde puedes ver el mar y el atardecer. Pedimos un menú degustación de 6 platos y la verdad es que estaba bastante bueno todo. Los camareros te hacen sentir muy bien y el servicio es excelente y tengo que hacer mención a petrus, ya que nos atendió maravillosamente. Volveremos sin duda muchas gracias por todo 👏

We had the chef’s tasting menu €90pp, and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was also top-notch. What really struck me was the starters—scallops. This reminded me of mango sticky rice, which I didn’t expect to find here. Plus, the tuna tartare was incredibly tasty! I highly recommend it if you are visiting Tenerife.

We came here to celebrate my birthday last month. The experience was absolutely incredible, my partner and I tried the taster menu and from start to finish was amazing. Each dish was so beautifully presented and each dish was so unique and tasty. The staff were so friendly and kind, and gave excellent recommendations. They even brought out a small stool for my handbag. The views from the terrace were beautiful, watching the sunset in such a beautiful atmosphere. PETRU our waiter left us speechless with his presentation of the food and the wine we have served. From our point of view we do not understand why this place does not have at least 1 Michelin star. We had an amazing experience. Chose the Almar tasting menu plus a custom made dish invented from the menu options for the Little One. Food was delicious, very sublime, great quality. But the service was really outstanding. With that kind of service I could eat a cheap pizza and still be super happy! It isn’t a place, where you seek a cheap meal, but it’s more than worth it! I love and highly recommend this place!

Bonito local con bonitas vistas, buen servicio, pero es caro y tiene una oferta bastante escasa si te sales de los menús. Poco más que un pescado y varios entrantes fríos o crudos (ceviches, ostras, tartare...) y unas croquetas. Todo está rico pero me ha faltado algo más para elegir. En general alto de precio y los vinos también carillos. Eso sí, tiene muy buenas vistas al atardecer.

Magnífica cocina aunque con cierto abuso de aderezos y algún plato sin emoción. Servicio detallado y atento, con alto conocimiento culinario y aportando sugerencias de bodega. Muy pocas mesas a mediodía aunque al parecer llenan a la noche. Lo mejor que hemos probado en Costa Adeje.

Travelling Doc

Almar is accessed via two flights of ramps leading to the entrance, decorated with fake pink flowers. The kitchen is immediately to the right of the maître d’ welcome desk. The sea view is lovely, especially at sunset (around 7 pm in January). However, it was quite chilly — dress warmly — with only four outdoor heaters along the length of the restaurant. There are seats directly facing the sea, which are fantastic both during the day and at sunset. Unfortunately, the interior design lets the place down: fake flowers on pillars and plastic chandeliers create a cheap, budget feel that detracts from the ambience. Service: Friendly and welcoming. Drinks: • Sangarida Blanco (€8.50): rather steep for a glass. • Figuero (€10): again Steep for a glass but tasted great. Food: • Foie Gras Pan Bao (€20): Exceptional — wonderful cooked foie gras which was the best for a long time with mango mayonnaise and confit onion. The bread was an excellent accompaniment. • Alcachofas (€20): Artichoke flowers fried with sesame sauce, caramelised onion, tomato powder, and buckwheat. Another exceptional dish — soft artichoke which was tasteful woth “popcorn” with pickled onions was excellent. Mains • Bacalao Negro (€30): Black cod fillet, beautifully cooked and flaky, with popcorn and celeriac purée — excellent. • Arroz con Bogavante (€38): Lobster rice with half a lobster including claws (cracked at the table). Unfortunately, the lobster stock tasted overly hot and almost burnt, giving the risotto an unpleasant flavour. • Verduras Salteadas (€8): Asian-style wok vegetables — just okay. It became very busy, and the noise level was high. There is a separate bar seating area used as overflow, which adds to the bustle. Overall: Stunning sea views and some outstanding dishes, but inconsistent execution, noisy atmosphere, and disappointing interior design detract from the experience.
