Usha the waitress that served us in Bombay Babu was very good and made our experience more filling. The food was unreal but the mild and medium buttermilk chicken tastes the same so if ur scared of spices like me op for the medium overall everything in this place was very very nice . The staff were very good and accompanied us with every need. We enjoyed our experience here.

I've eaten at this Indian for at least 10 years now and it's my go to place whilst I'm in Tenerife. Steve is the best at front of house and always very welcoming and will go out of his way to please you and even get the chef to cook you a special if needed... The food is always spot on and it's like home from home for taste and quality. Got to be the best Indian in the island and altars highly recommend this place 👌

The personal is interested if everything is good and they are very polite. 😇 We had Strawberry daiquiri, Tandori MIX Grill (huge portion), Rogan Josh sauce, Jal Frezi Lamb Tikka, Pilau Rice (very tasty spices).

The restaurant is very nicely set out with quite large seating areas the service was quick considering how busy the place was and the food was very good we thoroughly enjoyed what we had. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

This is an amazing Indian with fantastic customer service. The waiters are incredibly kind and such nice people. Very easy to chat with and makes the experience so much better. The food was so very tasty and came out very quickly especially considering how much we ordered. The pricing is respectable for such a popular restaurant and I'll definitely be going back. Me and my girlfriend were very pleased and can't recommend them enough. Easy to see how they're the best Indian on the Canary Islands. If you're debating going, just go and you'll thank yourselves later.

We had a great experience. Pleased we chose here for our curry whilst away on holiday. We were welcomed into the restaurant and seated straight away, really good vibe and already about 7-8 tables seated as we arrived. Quick and efficient service. Most importantly, our food was genuinely really good! Fresh, tender chicken. Cooked really well and presentation 10/10. Thank you to lovely polite waiters who ran the restaurant perfectly. Nice location too.

Absolutely WOW! The welcome and atmosphere was warm and inviting. Once seated our drinks were with us in less than a minute. Our starters arrived shortly afterwards. The meal was plentiful and delicious, we couldn't finish it. Wish we were at home and not on hols as we'd have asked for a doggy bag. Great service from all the staff and a special shout out to Jabayer... what a character. We will definitely return.

Beste Indiaas eten dat ik ooit heb gehad – fantastische ervaring! Ik had de butter chicken (chef’s special) met naan brood (koriander) met garlic hot sauce, en het was werkelijk geweldig. Rijke, volle smaken, perfect gekruid en tot in de puntjes bereid. Echt het beste Indiaas eten dat ik ooit heb gegeten. Twee dagen later zijn we opnieuw gegaan – en opnieuw was het eten net zo lekker. Zo fijn om te merken dat de kwaliteit zo consistent blijft. Ook de service verdient een pluim: snel, vriendelijk en attent. Het personeel was gastvrij en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen welkom voelden. Kortom: heerlijk eten, topservice en een fijne sfeer. Het beste eten dat we op heel Tenerife hebben gehad!

Spent a great evening here last week at the Torviscas restaurant! The staff were friendly and efficient and the food itself was amazing. We had poppadoms, starters, a delicious curry with rice and sides and left feeling very full with a takeaway box full of leftovers! Really reasonable prices considering the amount we ordered (including drinks). Would definitely recommend for veggies too!

First time visiting the Bombay Babu in Tenerife and it's honestly the best Indian food we've had in the EU outside the UK. The dishes were generous and delicious. The service was excellent, a big shout out to Hasan who looked after us. My partner is coeliac and Hasan advised us straight away what dishes contained gluten. The popadoms were GF which isn't always the case. If you need to eat gluten free, eat here with confidence. If you can eat gluten, the naan breads were superb. Five stars all round.

Lekker eten €€€ Sommige obers doen alsof ze het heel druk hebben, de papadums en sausjes werden zonder veel omhaal op tafel 'gegooid'. We werden verwelkomd als 'vrienden' maar bepaal toch liever zelf wie ik dat predikaat geef, iets te amicaal. Qua eten een aanrader dus, de presentatie kan beter.

Book online via WhatsApp. Got to the restaurant and the front of house male was rude and confrontational and did not have my reservation, asking what restaurant had I booked… I showed him my phone and he muttered something. He then pointed rudely to a table at next to the door. We sat down but due to the weather we asked if we could move further inside. He said something again and just walked off and did not return. We had to ask a waiter to move. The chutney tray is tiny so you will need to ask for more if there is more than one of you, it’s almost not worth having! However the main meal was really nice and flavoursome. Just a shame about this restaurant front of house, the restaurant in Calleo is much more friendly.

We didn’t have very high expectations from an Indian restaurant in Tenerife, but this place had multiple branches and good reviews, so we decided to try it on the last day of our trip. There were four of us, and three of us, who were vegetarians, were extremely disappointed. The Indian food is not authentic which is expected in a place like Canary Islands. The ambience is nice with good outdoor seating, and the service was very quick. My one friend, who eats meat, mentioned that their chicken tikka was one of the best he’s had outside India. The garlic naan was also quite good. However, the vegetarian food was not up to the mark at all. The paneer makhni and mint chutney had too much food colouring and the paneer was rubbery. The dal makhni was very disappointing; it neither looked nor tasted like dal makhni and honestly didn’t even taste like dal. The only acceptable vegetarian dish was the chana masala. Would not recommend this place to vegetarians.

We're are so disappointed in this restaurant. We had a meal there 2 years ago and was lovely with no complaints whats so ever. We went there last night for dinner and ordered chicken tikka for a starter,a keema naan, chichen tikka biriani, saag aloo and two strawberry daiquiris. The kemma naan had no meat in it and had to be returned, the chicken tikka biriani had 5 small pieces of chicken in it so it was basically a bowl of rice and the strawberry daiquiris were more of smoothie and had no achohol in it so we sent the drinks back and asked for two more to be made which weren't any better. The two drinks we sent back were then given to another table who had ordered the same as us we know this because we were sat by the bar. Don't forget we had taken a mouthful of the two drinks and to then give them to another paying customer is disgraceful. When i expressed my disappointed in the service and food the waiters were very rude and didn't seem to care or be bothered . We did put our remaining food in tubs to take home but after the rudeness of the staff we left it there in principle. We paid and left and will NEVER return. We have never experienced such rude staff. Be very careful of the establishment

Came in tonight waited 1hour 40 mins for our food service was terrible the man came and banged the plates on the table with a total attitude. I come here 8/10 times a year and I won’t be back after tonights service totally ruined an overall good restaurant for us. All my family come here to so I’ll be warning them otherwise also …Beyond a joke. Still waiting on the bill also after asking for it ages ago. At this rate I’ll miss my flight home.

I’ve visited this restaurant three times previously and always had a positive experience, which makes this recent visit all the more disappointing. After ordering a chicken dish, I discovered my first piece was visibly undercooked. When I raised this with the staff, one team member asked me to cut into a second piece, which appeared cooked. He then insisted the meal was fine based on that alone. I found this response unacceptable, raw poultry is a serious food safety concern, and dismissing it based on a single piece undermines basic hygiene standards. I refused the meal and did not eat it. While I appreciate that the dish was removed from the bill, I was still charged for my drink. Given the circumstances—and the fact that we paid for other meals without issue, I believe waiving the drink would have been a gesture of goodwill and proper etiquette. This experience has unfortunately shaken my confidence in a place I previously recommended. I hope the management takes food safety and customer concerns more seriously moving forward.

We had a bizzar experience here. The menu prices here don't match the brocher/flier. The Manager was very rude when we pointed it out. He was not ready to lower the price. When we sayd we wanted to cancel the order then and walked away he finaly was ready to honer the price in the flier. No Dogs allowed.

As an Indian, I would like to say that the food is not authentic Indian in taste. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I ordered Prawns Biryani through Uber Eats, but instead I received plain rice. When I contacted the restaurant about this mistake, they asked me to come to the restaurant for pickup or said they would send the correct order next time, which is not an acceptable solution. They refused to take responsibility and said it was not their problem. Along with the biryani, I also ordered Chicken Lollipop and Chicken Tikka. Unfortunately, the chicken did not taste fresh and it’s feel like I am eating rubber, seemed like it had been prepared one or two days earlier. This kind of experience has never happened to me before. They could have easily sent a replacement order but chose not to. Very disappointing experience. I would recommend finding another restaurant.

The food was acceptable, although there are far better curry restaurants on the island. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The staff were not welcoming at all and failed to make even brief eye contact with guests. When we asked for the menu, it took around 15 minutes to arrive. There were four staff members on duty serving a reasonable number of guests, yet their attitude suggested they were either too busy or simply unwilling to provide proper service. It felt as though we were unwelcome as non-white guests. The staff member responsible for allocating tables challenged our booking without even checking the reservation register. From that moment onward, we experienced a noticeably cold and dismissive attitude. This visit was meant to be a special occasion—our second daughter’s first birthday—and we had hoped for a memorable evening. Sadly, the behavior of the restaurant staff completely dampened the experience.

La comida excelente, una pena no haberla podido disfrutar. Al recibirnos nos avisaron de que se acercaba el cierre y tenían que servirnos entrantes y platos a la vez, ningún problema con esto pues éramos dos personas y tardamos poco en comer. El problema fue que el personal (a parte de seguir cogiendo mesas de hasta 4 comensales tras entrar nosotras) no paró de hacernos saber que teníamos que darnos prisa en elegir los platos o en comer, pasándose a recoger cosas hasta el punto de agobiarnos y no dejarnos disfrutar la comida. Estaba muy rico el pollo khorma pero a la tercera vez que te preguntan, si te pillan masticando, no te da ni tiempo a decirles que no se lo lleven; no lo pudimos acabar. Fue un no parar en el que no nos dio tiempo ni a beber entre bocado y bocado. Mientras tanto, en dos mesas de más comensales, cenaban con total normalidad. Incomprensible.

A las 21:40 hemos pedido un plato más y nos han dicho que ya habían cerrado la cocina. Todos recogiendo (cocina y camareros). Nos hemos quejado y ha dado igual. Una pena que el servicio no cumpla con el horario. Ya no hemos pedido ni postre porque daba la impresión que había que cerrar a las 22:00 h.No volveremos.
