2 Taco Combo Plate - 1 Chicken 1 Beef Incredible. Perfect portion of protein on each - and plenty of cheese and toppings. Adding the red and green salsa with the beans and rice was the pro strat. Really added a depth of flavor to enhance. Relleno Buritto (No Protein) Great flavor and perfect portion size. Honestly didnt need salsa, but it went great with the red for an added pepper flavor. Taquiot Plate - Chicken Great crunch and flavor! Perfect portion size and went really well with the rice and beans! Church Added bonus! Didn't know it was filled with Mexican Caramel - and it was INSANELY GOOD!

Karina Patillo was the absolute best customer service and amazing I can't say enough about her she was extremely knowledgeable and it had been a while since I had been there my friend and I were the very last ones and she was really really nice and great personality above and beyond, restaurant was immaculate and the bathroom was extremely clean as well everything was stalked perfectly she was definitely on top of it

Family owned and operated. The food was delicious. I ordered the garbage burrito with shredded chicken. Small salsa bar available. Reasonably priced, good service, friendly staff, clean and really good food. What more can you ask for. Just wish there were more located near me.

I'm taking a point off because this location has a weird road entrance. Otherwise, very much a typical Chick-fil-A experience.

I went super basic and got a chicken quesadilla. There was much more chicken than most places where you get a chicken quesadilla. Usually you feel like the restaurant is trying to save money and not give you enough chicken, but they loaded you up. The chicken was super moist and delicious. The only thing I didn’t love was the tortilla. It was fine, didn’t wow me. Loved the chicken and the cheese tasted like cheese. My husband got the El Potato with chili verde pork. He says “it was awesome”. The service was standard.

We bought horchatas and although they were not our favorite, they weren't bad. I couldn't taste any of the cinnamon, just rice water. We would come back to try the food though. The employees were super nice!

No drive thru...otherwise it is a fine chic-fil-a with great service and food as we have come to expect, but since there are so many chic-fil-a's nearby I usually go to another location.

Came in for a breakfast burrito however I was about an hour late decided to get a brc burrito and it was aiight definitely should have went with my 1st mind and left when the breakfast burrito wasn't available

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with no tomatoes and extra pickles. They charged me extra for the no tomatoes and yet still gave me tomatoes. I returned the sandwich and they got my order wrong the 2nd time as well. Also this place is rarely open, it says online that they close at 11pm which i’m not sure why because a lot of times when I come, they are closed. I guess the workers close the restaurant early whenever they feel like it. They usually close a few hours earlier than what it says online so if you choose to go to this location, just a warning they are probably closed.

Ordered the Spicy deluxe and cheese was still cold on it like they just slapped it on. This location doesn’t really taste like the other branches . Hopefully they catch on or I’m going have to just do the extra drive to harbor smh .

I went to Miguel Jr. last night for dinner and was extremely disappointed. The carne asada was so tough and flavorless that even my dog wouldn’t eat it. The rice and beans tasted dehydrated, and the chips were stale—about half a bag of them. Miguel Jr. used to be great—good meat, good food, and a good value—but something has definitely changed. If this trend continues, I won’t be able to keep coming back. I can’t afford to spend $20 on a meal that isn’t edible.

I ordered a spicy deluxe sandwich with a gluten free bun(the bun is packaged seperately in a bag), and the chicken was missing. The chicken is the whole point of the sandwich lol

They close early and wouldn't let us use the restroom.

Out of every chick-fa- la I’ve been too, this has been no doubt the WORST. There’s no drive thru so I assume their chicken sits and didn’t taste the same as any other chick, probably why they gave me food poisoning. I asked for a certain amount of sauces and the manager said ofc and repeated my order back to me , he gave me 1 sauce for my whole meal. I asked for 4. Just not a pleasant experience after waiting months for their opening

Saw the worker bringing my food over on curvside. As i lowered my window he stoped looked down amd walked back in. Never received my food waited 25 min, had to leave for work didnt anticipate it taking longer than 25 min.

Ordered at the counter at 8:50PM and was asked by the worker whether I wanted to dine in or take out, and after placing my order to find somewhere to sit, there was no where to sit without chairs on the tables. When taking the chairs down so that I could sit down, the worker told me under his breath as he walked away “there’s tables outside you could sit at…” When a different worker brought me my food, she said “if you could please not take the chairs down that would be great” and when we told her there weren’t any open tables without chairs on them, she said we could go outside to eat (which were also taken), and that they “have the right” to close early and to next time not take the chairs down. Pretty lame “customer service” from chick fil a. Next time, don’t post your dining room close time at 10PM on the door then ask me if I want to dine in when I’m ordering inside if it’s not actually an option.

This is the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. I ordered spicy deluxe, it tasted so bad. It tasted like a feet. Is this a legit location? Bread was stale. I literally brushed my teeth afte going home. Also, I ordered curbside pickup but after waiting for 20mins, I had to go in the restaurant to pickup my food. (There's no drive through) If this was my first time to Chick-fil-A, I'd have never gone to Chick-fil-A again.

I believe the issue at this Miguel’s Jr location comes down to management and oversight. The quality and consistency have fallen dramatically over the last four years. Orders are frequently incorrect (including basic requests like no cheese), food is not being prepared the way Miguel Jr. corporate advertises, and ingredients—especially the meats—have become noticeably lower quality. Chicken, beef, asada, and pork all feel like the worst cuts possible lately. After reading other customer reviews, it’s obvious this is a repeated pattern and not an isolated incident. The responses from the “owner” appear to be generic copy-and-paste replies that don’t address the concerns or give any sign that changes will happen. I have personally gone to corporate to express these issues, was assured improvements would be made, and unfortunately nothing has changed. In fact, the situation seems to have gotten worse. Employees don’t seem happy, and it shows—in cold food, inaccurate orders, lack of attention to food allergies, and the constant “we forgot” excuses. It feels like the customers’ experience simply isn’t a priority anymore. Miguel Jr. used to be reliable, consistent, and enjoyable. Now I honestly miss the days when we could expect good food and employees who seemed glad to be there. I hope this location gets real attention and leadership soon, because customers are noticing—and many of us are losing patience.

Went on what seemed a busy time. Ordered 5 items. All items were cold as they made them at separate times. Ordered a wet burrito and was not madenthe way I requested. Went to them and the cook just threw onions and tomatoes ontop. The burrito was cold and truly not great customer service. I will not return.

it's is a shame when you can't trust a kitchen to pay attention to life threatening allergies. But what is worst is when you politely call to tell them of the cross contamination you are told "We are an open kitchen and that is what happens". We told them our child has severe Dairy(cheese) allergies. We asked to substitute the guacamole with avocado slices because the guacamole has dairy. In the avocado there was shreds of cheese between the slices. Accidents happen but when the responce is, Oh well thats what happens it infuriates me. I will not be returning and will be sharing this story. I do not recommend Miguel's Jr. especially the Costa Mesa store.
