Ok. I deleted my old review. I guess I went on a bad day. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is amazing. The bun is a little sweet and the pickles are thick cut. Great prices, good service.

I went thru the drive-thru tonight at Golden Chick here in Crowley. Although it was close to their closing time, my host Mirna and the cook Veronica I must say I'm grateful for. I asked for 18 pieces of Wicked Wings freshly cooked. Veronica didn't hesitate to take my order and Veronica didn't hesitate to cook fresh chicken so late. I want to say how grateful I am to the both of them for myself and my guest being able to have freshly cooked food tonight! Thanks!

I just love the people at Golden Chick in Crowley tx. They are so friendly and always trying to hurry and get your food to you, even when they are so busy. Never had a bad experience. I think the food was over priced and the quality of food was not what I had expected. The drive thru was fast and the workers were very kind.Update .... I recently visited this location again. My daughter absolutely loves the food here so I thought it's only fair for me to give this place a second chance. I must say I had a better experience with the quality of food this time. We ordered on Door Dash and was missing a whole meal and family size poppers. Needless to say I was upset having to drive to the store and mess with it since I paid to have it delivered. Porsha and Kennedy helped me get it straight. They both saw the driver take out a plastic bag that had the drink, meal and poppered in it. Well we didn't get our drinks with our order, and not sure if the order was taken wrong or if it was us. Didn't matter, the young people that were working there made it right immediately, all with smiles on their face. Truly impressed. And, the catfish was lightly crispy and perfectly cooked. This location is doing it right. Get you some!

The best fried chicken, very nice and clean place. The only bad thing was that the ice cream machine wasn't working 😕 and they said it had been like that for a fewdays. And is why we come inside and eat, and the ice cream is free. Great thing.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was not too busy at all. We ordered our food and CJ brought it to our table. CJ was very courteous, he had wonderful manners, and made sure we had all we needed. Everything we ordered was perfect!!!

I had a fairly large order, and they were able to get it filled about 7 to 10 minutes. Not a long wait. We enjoy their vegetables along with the chicken.

The chicken is really flavorful. And the free ice cream is Great! I'm not a huge fan of the coleslaw and a few of the tables are permanently sticky, but I will go back.

Their chicken and catfish is really good but you always have to wait for the catfish to cook. That's not bad though because you know it's fresh. A little high for what you get and green beans have a peculiar chemical taste.

Food is fresh like the way the servers handle the food while preparing orders. The dining room is clean and we'll kept. We like the in Crowley TX. My only thing I wished an extra side automatically came with the combo meals but other than that we enjoyed dining here.

We ordered some fries and the lemon pepper wings to go. I can say that everything was super fresh and the fries were hot. They need to be a little easy on the lemon pepper, otherwise everything was great.

I ordered a 16 piece family meal bone in chicken and received tenders and paid almost $50. Needless to say, I had to eat something else because there were 6 of us to feed and I overpaid. I'll take my business elsewhere. She clearly didn't listen when I was ordering.

The food is bland and way over priced for what you get. I definitely don't recommend the coleslaw 🤮. But the staff are very polite and considerate and that's the only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars. Quality service, yuck food.

Food was hot and fresh. Had to wait about 7 minutes for the corn nuggets. I guess it is worth it because they are great when they are fresh. Disappointed that they advertised Nashville hot chicken on the sign at the drive thru but told us it was not available. If you don't have it, don't advertise it.

Ordered a 3 piece thigh, wing, leg, I got 3 things the size of my thumb. When I brought whatever these scraps were back in. She asks for my receipt and brings me 2 pieces!! I had to explain that a three piece should have 3 pieces 3 times for her to understand that I needed another piece.

The prices keep getting higher and the wait time longer. I think they've raised the prices 3 times this year already. We waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes the other day. The only reason I didn't leave is bc my daughter really wanted to eat there and she rarely gets a chance to. One plus is that the drinks are huge. I don't drink that much so it's a waste for me. Chicken strips are tasty.

Spent $55 on a 12-piece mixed chicken meal with two family sides, sweet tea, and corn nuggets. I paid extra for bread but didn’t receive it, which I only realized after getting home. The staff seemed friendly, but I was honestly surprised by the price. The family sides were smaller than expected, if they were a bit larger, I’d feel better about the cost. I understand the economy is tough, but I know of a few dine-in restaurants offering similar value for the same price. This feed a family of four adults.

I've never had runny potatoes... until I went to Golden Chick. It was literally like soup. For a brief moment I thought I had been given cream gravy instead of potatoes. Or maybe I was just hoping. But NOPE it was soupy potatoes. That did it for me. Done with Golden Chick. Because... how do you realize you messed up the potatoes and then still sever them to your customers. Finito!

Tried the NEW cod sandwich. What a mistake Its not that the taste wasn't good, it was but if your gonna put coleslaw on a sandwich, put it on the top of the fish. I got it to go and by the time I got home wit it the bottom bun had turned to mush. Add onto the fact that I sat outside waiting on my order for over 10 minutes. Sorry but thats NOT fast food. When I went back to the window and asked where is my food, I was told "it's cooking man ". Really? MAN? I won't be back.

😑 so many issues getting an order right. Ask for light ice and got a cup full of ice. Asked for no spicy seasoning on wings and they heavily dusted them with the seasoning. Ordered a nine piece family meal and they only put 8 pieces in there. Very disappointed.

It would be great after spending $42 and some change to get home and find all that you ordered. $4.99 + tax for a family Mac and cheese only to get home and find no mac and cheese. Then call 9 times only to get the answering machine each time. Don't really blame "Willie" but kind of do. The order was right there in front of him yet forgot to put it in there.

Best of the three fast food chicken places in Burleson. Unfortunately the service is really bad. Everything time I pick up a to go order they forget parts of my order. This last time, along with forgetting part of my order they gave me the wrong meal. I probably won't be going back for a while, hopefully by then things will have changed.

The young man that took my order was rude. Acted like it was an imposition to take my order. Fish was not good. Dirty rice was very good. Won't go back to this location. People there just aren't friendly.

I was in around 6:00 on a Thursday. I ordered catfish and was told they had none and it would be an 8 min wait. It actually came within 5 mins. The food was good. I ordered a sauce after the fact and your store would not take a card payment since the sauce was only 79 cents, which I believe violates the user agreements with most credit card processing companies. Thankfully there was a nice man behind me who let me borrow the money since I had no cash. It was not a great experience.

Great location... but I was told I had to wait 7 minutes for fried chicken. I asked how many fried pieces did they have and they said 5 pieces. I agreed to 5 fried & 3 roasted. Before I received my order, I was told that one of my fried pieces was given to another customer. To make a long story short, 7 minutes later I leave with my order of 4 fried & 4 roasted and the hot chicken was up as I drove off. What would you have done? Waited another minute for 8 hot fried pieces of chicken?

The last 2 times ive been there they have forgotten part of my order. Also they are putting very little ice in the drinks. It was all melted by the time I got to the second stop light. Nothing worse than a hot drink on a 100 degree day.

Frontline staff is good and friendly, compliments to the cashier and cooks. The manager is incompetent and on a power trip. He thinks that if they don't give you an item that's included, like a bowl of gravy, then you should be charged for one when you go ask for one. This was not given to us in the first place. Probably won't come back.

Dining area closed, wift did not like her 2 piece meal with mash potatoes and slaw, fed the chicken to the dog and cat. On the plus side, she does care for the catfish, didn't feel like the 10 min wait. Had what she had, couldn't finish mine, tasted out of whack.

The food (taste) is fine, but the service is absolutely terrible. Ordering is like playing a slot machine. You'll get a few things you want, but most of the time, you'll never get all of the things you need. It's the simple things, too. They'll forget your sauces (that you have to pay for), all the way to completely forgetting your fries or chicken in your order. How that's possible? I have no idea. When you try to get your order fixed or call to complaine you always get attitude like you're bothering them, even though they messed up YOUR food.

My crazy spicy wings were saturated in powder. There was at least a half inch coating of spice in the bottom of my plate. Could not eat it and will never go back. You'd lady at the register had to take our order twice. Never agin.

It's just another high-priced chicken spot. Food was not seasoned at all. I've heard great things about the fish, but if the chicken was unseasoned, I'm sure the fish would be the same. We will not be returning.

When arrived @around 19:00 was told that it would be a 10 minute wait for tenders. I was not happy but do realize that they may have had a bigger dinner rush then expected. However after waiting the 15 minutes for tenders was informed that they were also out of Mac n cheese. Now how does a manager allow their restaurant to run out of food there should be SOP’s in place to prevent this from happening. Also why would they not inform us at the beginning they where out of Mac N Cheese when they told us they where out of tenders. Guess we will just have to use the Burleson store at least that manger knows how to restock their supplies.

This place is a joke they never get my orders right! Usually I have no issues here. I wait no longer than 5 minutes but yesterday was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! I sat in the drive-thru 27 minutes. When I got to the window my order still was not ready. The staff was mostly teenagers and when I asked if there would be any compensation for the wait......discount, free drink, extra chicken strips......something....and the boy at the window said he would ask the manager. The person he asked was a teenager(appeared to be) as well. OMG!! He came back to the window and said "no" and gave me my total. No apologies for the wait from him or the "young manager". This is very poor customer service. The LEAST they could have done was apologize for the wait. Then I asked the guy at the window for sauce as he went to go get my order. I drove off and found NO SAUCE!!! The drive-thru was still backed up so I got out my car and knocked at the door. A very mannerable young black male(wish I had gotten his name).....he was a little short with a box top cut. He asked POLITELY how he could help me. He got the sauce for me and asked if I needed anything else. He also said "thank you and have a good night". I didn't get a hello or anything from the drive thru staff. It seems that there is a lack of proper training/customer service. I was in retail for a long time and valued any customer that I came into contact with. Basic manners/respect should come without saying. Worst experience EVER!!!!

Everytime I ask for Zing Sauce with my fish the manager always acts so surprised and tells me it's not included but for some strange reason I keep having to point out that it's on their menu outside. The service here could be better

Went through the drive-through today to get some food and the lady that was taking my order was rude. I understand we all have bad days but, I didn't do anything to deserve that and I just wish that everybody would understand and be kind to each other.

There is a reason this place is rarely busy. We are currently 20 minutes and counting on an order with 6 chicken tenders....... then on top of that the people who came before us have had to take their food back three times now. When we FINALLY got our food the tenders were mushy and looked more like pulled pork!

We made two separate orders so they would not get them wrong and they still shorted our order. When we called back they tried to say that they did get our order right. I find it funny that fast food employees want to up their wages when they can not even get a order right. If I make a mistake at work it can cost someone their life. Will definately not be coming to the fort worth crowley golden chick again.

I went to the Crowley location 3 days ago and ordered a 3 piece chicken combo when I got home, the thigh part smelled like it was soaked in ammonia or something i wanted to come back or call to let the restaurant know unfortunately I was too sick to touch base with anyone

I went to this location and I order the 16 piece tenders spicy and the chicken sandwich meal. Usually when I go here the food is always fresh and hot. Unfortunately this night I was very disappointed. The tenders where cold and not spicy as well as the chicken sandwich and fries. The food looked and tasted old.

I went to this establishment on yesterday and purchased the 9 pc.wicked wing combo and it was horrible I had rice dressing as my side it was ok but those wings were fried hard and crusty no flavor just old I was so displeased and is why I'm giving this review I Love those wings preferably flats and most of them were the big drums very crusty I have eaten them here before so I know they have good food but yesterday evening was horrific thats 14 plus dollars I gave away I am a Senior on fixed income and this was unacceptable I couldn't bring back for I was brought there for my meal I am just gone bite this bullet but no more I am one unhappy Regular customer Sheesh

Absolutely awful. I just left. We went there 3 months ago and said we would never come back. Ended up coming back. Absolutely terrible again. Food was not cooked. Poppers were OLD. (I’ve had hundreds of golden chick poppers I know how they are supposed to be cooked.) Stay Far Far Far away from this location. Trust me. You will be disappointed.

The customer service sucks. They charge your card and then say oh well sorry it was an accident for an order that you didn't even order. Rude like talking about I'll give you something but had a nasty attitude about it. It no reason. To be that way especially when I said I'll pay the difference of what you charge me.

Stood up front for 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and we were the only people "in line". I asked to make sure that our order came with rolls and was told yes and then when our order came out we noticed there were no rolls and so I stood at the front for another 5 minutes and was finally told they were out of rolls. We wanted a gallon of tea but they were out of that also. Then my wife stood up front for another 5 minutes to ask for plates. Then I went to get forks and they were out of those so I waited for 5 minutes to be acknowledged and then another 5 minutes before I was given forks. After we were done eating my kids wanted ice cream but they were out of that as well. And our table was dirty and sticky. So ya...

It was edible. The portions were very small, specially the side dishes. The mac and cheese was dry and burnt and there was about 2tablespoons in the small container, the gravy container had twice the amount! The green bean were a little on the salty side, the fish was too thinly cut and small, hardly any meat and the chicken strips were on the small side as well. The 2 meals plus, 2 funnel cake swirl, came out to $20.00+!!! I think pretty pricey for kid size meals for adults.👎

First I drove way out of my way to come here because I love their poppers. I ordered a chicken sandwich, 8 jalapeño poppers, and Mac and cheese. I asked for ranch and I had to pay for it?!? This place is a joke. Family sides containers that have shrunk and are barely half full. Gravy with tenders and the container wasn't even half full. The tenders are closer to nuggets Had to cook the okra when we got it home. Prices are outrageous. Will not return!

I placed a curbside order that was supposed to be ready at 6:31pm. I pull into the space where the instructions say if you are not greeted in 2 mins call the number listed on the sign. I wait 5 min before I call. No one picks up the phone. I call the store number and that number is no longer in service. I leave my spot to go through the drive thru line and I'm told to pull up and wait. I wait an additional 15 mins All the while the customers going through the drive-thru are being serviced. At 7:08 after going in twice because first I was given the wrong order and then when I got my order my food order was incorrect and had to get that fixed. This is the worst service ever and ownership should be ashamed and embarrassed of what is taking place at this establishment. I can't even begin to speak on the customer service.

I'd give this place ZERO stars if I could. I'll never go to this location again. The staff all had earbuds in, even the drive thru person. Not one of them could hear the other. My order got screwed up twice, 1st it was the wrong sauce, and on the 2nd attempt, the guy couldn't even count to 4 chicken strips. It's a damn shame...

I spent 200$+ on pickup accidently but I can't even call call the store afterwards to fix it without losing $200 dollars for a week. DO NOT RECOMMEND. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER STORES AROUND. Food is good but customer service isn't. I have yet to go and nothing has been missing out of my order. I walked in and had three people stare at me before asked for my order..no hello how are you from anyone. Feels like they rush to get everything out. They always forget my rolls and I love those. They were more worried about my 25¢ for my extra sauce than giving a great experience.

The last two times I’ve ordered from here were disappointing. The chicken was old. The gravy clumpy. And my potatoes had like a brownish tinge on half of them. I used to love this place. I hope it gets better soon.

Went there for lunch today with a coworker and ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal. When I receive my order the piece of chicken looked like a small chicken tender and the one my friend had was regular size. When I went to the counter to complain, the kid said it was right sorry. Last time I'll ever eat at this place. Also, I didn't take photos because I didn't realize I could leave a photo.

I work in the heat all day for 12 hours+ sometimes. All I want is an easy meal for me and my kid. So when I specifically ask for, and REPEAT, that I want a 3 piece TENDER COMBO several times, it's extremely irritating to get home and see that I was given and charged for BONE IN CHICKEN THAT MY KID WONT EAT. Now I see why y'all are never busy, learn how to take damn order, it's not difficult.

My absolute favorite fast food restaurant until now. Used to always taste fresh. My food took a very long time, then the chicken tasted really old and dry, (it was hard underneath the breading) and the breading was so hard it was hurting to bite in parts. They forgot to do spicy seasoning on it too! The corn nuggets were mushy. Just not worth the price of a 16 piece family meal. Did enjoy the bread rolls.

I love this place, love the food, and until this morning I loved the tea and bags of ice. However, this morning, 20 August 2019 I was getting ready for work, put some ice in my cup (purchased 19 August 2019 around 6:30pm) when I noticed that it looked like someone spit in my ice. I do not think it was the kid that prepared it, because it was in the middle of the bag. I am truly disgusted by the situation, but very thankful my 3 year old did not drink it. I talked to one manager who gave me the phone number of another manager and told me to call her when she was at work tomorrow. I would strongly caution anyone from purchasing a drink or bag of ice until they sanitize their ice machines in the restaurant.

The Food was not what I expected. Only the special price was Right. The wait was Horrible, we waited for our food to go over 25 minutes. The manager said they had to many orders. I noticed the employees just standing around and joking among themselves. The manager is a nice man, but It did not seem like they are all taking their job seriously to me at least. I have over 20 Years experience in the Restaurant field, and I would never ever have let a situation like this get out of control for as long as it did. Anyway, I am never going back.

Love Golden Chick used to go there at least three times a week, but after y’all switch the to go containers, have only been once in the past three weeks and returned the order received half the size of the fries very small amount of gravy that’s used to get And cause it to spill into rest of food to (go back to the yellow boxes)!!!

When I received my bag I asked for ranch and it was given to Me. When my food was passed back inside to be cooked the correct way, no ranch was there. I got all the way home and opened the box to find this! It looks like they gave it to someone else who pulled the chicken apart and gave it back. This is ridiculous and a waste of money.
