This was the first time at THIS Jersey Mikes. i came in from the back entrance. i was greeted by some of the staff that were not busy prepping orders. i sat down to observe the environment since some of the reviewers from the past have given poor reviews due to either being impatient or just nasty individuals. i made a visit on a Sunday around 2:40pm. so there was not a high volume rush. The staff all seemed to be handling orders with professionalism, which is a plus to me. The staff all spoke clearly and can be heard 5 feet away, that's a plus. There was a female at the slicer doing a great job slicing and passing the meat and cheese along the line while the other employees prepped the sandwiches, this is a plus. I placed my order and it went well without an problems. Now those who have been giving this place a bad review need to take in consideration that ALL orders rather online, phone orders, and in person take TIME. making a sandwich is not something you can rush. I'll be revisiting this Jersey Mikes in the future do to the sandwich being a 10/10.
So many great options to choose from. Never get tried of this place!

I am a Celiac with high sensitivity to cross contamination. I ordered from here today and started walking home when they called me and let me know that a newer employee used the same knife as with regular bread and that they'd make me a new sandwich. A simple mistake and very impressed with their follow-through on protocol. Excellent service.
The service here is great! I accidentally said “big kahuna” rather than “big kahuna chicken”, and apologized after they already made the sandwich and offered to pay for both, but they took the sandwich back no problem. Thank you GiGi and team!
Idk man, I just love this place. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered for pick-up just in the last few months. An easy go-to when I need a sandwich for a long work day.

I put in an order for pickup. I was in my car about to leave the store when I got a phone call notifying me that they forgot to add a sandwich in the bag I ordered. It was rush hour, with alot of customers in the store and so many online orders in the countertop, so I know its hectic and we all make mistakes. I really appreciate that they took the time to get a hold of me to rectify the error and even offered free stuff as compensation. They could've just refunded what I didn't pick up and not say anything, especially with how long that line was during the lunch rush, but instead, they had someone call. Thanks, and will be back again

I went there to get a sandwich, they have great options, fresh taste, and the service was great. The parking is free & available, they have tables inside & out . The place was clean and neat, The prices are moderate. Great experience

The servers don't seem to have the same enthusiasm or experience of the previous work crew in the past. They did seem a bit overwhelmed with orders and did not seem like they wanted to be working there. I understand good help is hard to find. Lucky for Jersey Mike's they have good quality food that still taste great despite the service.

Very understaffed. Think it took maybe 20-30 minutes.
This was my first time entering a Jersey Mike’s establishment and first impression was pretty poor. I don’t know if everyone was new but they sure acted like it. Between staff acting like they were too timid to speak and the numerous mistakes from miscalculating price, wrong orders, and lack of direction - seems like there is some training issues. 3 stars because the sandwich was good.
As the closest location to me I am here around once every other week, though recent experiences have gone downhill a lot. I also work in Food Safety and have tried different avenues to contact this store to no avail. Attached I have 2 Customer Complaints I filed via their website over 2 weeks ago and no one ever got back to me. First one I had a big piece of plastic wrap clinging between the roast beef and turkey which I took a bite out of (photo). Second one the meat tasted awful sour, dry, and rancid, and the size was abysmal, I had to toss it. Every time I call I am left ringing or they pickup and hang up immediately. You feel bad for the team there because they get chewed out by elderly and picky clientele all the time and I hate to complain in person because I have been there behind the line in their shoes. What the heck should I do if no one is listening to me though? This review is my last resort in hopes that someone will reach out. Incredibly frustrating because I am a big fan when it is done right.

Hey, can you guys ask me if I want my sandwich “Mike’s way” or not when I order it? First time the staff didn’t ask me how I wanted it prepared. The man just made it Mike’s way without asking me and my wife how wanted it prepared. After I paid he handed me two subs already packaged. About 2:35 pm I saw this lady paying food and this employee was so rude that almost say something she needs to retrain customer service very need in this stablish big no no talking to her like that I won’t go at this location I will tell friends too smh
I went to this location on Wednesday 3/13/24 around 7:30pm. I counted approximately 5 employees "working." I stood at the counter to order, and not one person even acknowledged my existence, let alone asked what I wanted to order. I waited a few minutes figuring they were busy, even though I was the only customer inside the location at the time, and not one person even lifted their head to say we'll be right with you...nothing. I watched 3 employees walking back and forth behind the counter and they all just let me stand there. Finally I walked out after several more minutes of being ignored, absolutely dumbfounded at the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism. I've been to other locations in LA and have never received that treatment. Someone usually acknowledges you as soon as you step into the business. Usually when I'm in Culver City I go to this location but I will never spend a dime inside that location again.
They got my order wrong, lettuce was old and the bread was really hard. Either overly toasted or old. I went back in to see if they could remake it. They said yes. Then they tried to make me pay for the additional sandwich. The guy said since a sandwich is getting wasted we can give you 50 percent on the second sandwich (new one). Mind you I’d only be getting one sandwich. I’m like why should I have to pay for the new one ?you guys are the ones who messed up the order in the first place. I ended up just walking out and lost like $15 for the Cali club sandwich. Would not recommend going there
I placed a phone order and was told they would get started on my order right away. I got to the store and it wasn't even started. People who walked in after me got their whole orders made before mine. They started on mine and one of the sandwiches was almost made wrong. Finally got my order 30 minutes after I had placed it by phone. No apologies. No attempt to make it right. Have had other bad experiences with this location. Love Jersey Mike's but not this location.
I walked into the restaurant hoping to be greeted by one of the employees, but no one said hello. This was around 2:15 pm on a Tuesday. I am standing by myself in line, while there are 2 customers already eating in the restaurant, and another waiting for an order he had already placed. I couldn't believe that I stood there for at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged. I finally said to the employee slicing bread and cheese that I have been patiently waiting for over 8 minutes and no one has acknowledged me by saying welcome, we will be with you in a moment. I told her that it was bad customer service. Then another female employee interjected and stated that they only have 1 slicer. I told her that does not matter. Instead of making excuses right away for your bad customer service, you should have apologized and told me you were sorry for the long wait, and for not attending me with even so much as a hello. What really made me upset was that I was just ignored. I asked for corporate's number and they just gave me their store phone number. This is not the first time I have come to this location and I have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for one sandwich. The employees are always busy having side conversations with each other and taking their sweet time in fulfilling an order. I guess I finally learned my lesson today. I will not be coming back ever to this location in Culver City, CA.
the new manager seems to be as incompetent as all the other workers, such a shame that this location became a joke, the workers don’t care about customer service but they sure love to have side conversations in front of customers & don’t you dare say anything to them because they’ll get mad at you. It really makes you regret spending your money here, at least subway doesn’t pretend to be something they’re not.
The big kahuna cheesesteak I got today was terrible! The steak was so dry, and they really skimped on the cheese. This sandwich use to be amazing and cheesy, but today it was horrible and dry. Borderline a choking hazard.
Beware when ordering online. They said it would take 45 minutes even though the store was mostly empty. I'm not waiting that long for an average sandwich. I will not be returning to this location.
